Owen felt that the Omegina had gone mad, or was intentionally provoking him.
Rowan wanted to provide a home for other Omeginas and protect everyone else, yet never thought to offer him a home, or give him the chance to be the protector.
"You being like this makes me really want to destroy all your strength, break your wings, pull out the fangs you rely on to survive, and lock you up so you obediently become my mate," he growled in his throat, his eyes bloodshot, dark thoughts flashing through his mind. He wondered if it was because Omegina was too strong, too independent, that caused this distant consequence.
Owen suddenly thought that if Omegina were a bit weaker, a bit injured, and could only rely on him to live, to eat, to move around, then perhaps these headaches and troubles wouldn't exist, and he would belong to him forever.
