Hah hah -
Pant… gasp!"
"You bastard, where are you going? Hahaha — you think you can run?"
Another person shouted while riding a horse.
"Heh. Today we won't just catch you; we'll make you pay for what you did to our clan!"
Huff… huff.
The mire soaked up noise with dim glow, yet still held the hunt.
Boots hit muddy ground; capes whipped through air like birds taking flight. People yelled, swords, spears, arrows pointed only at one person, which was running crazily towards the dark forest which was covered in shadowed mist.
Shhhhk - slish - slish.
"Fu Yang, stop right there! Tell us about the inheritance you took and we might spare you."
"Hump. Bastard, always running like a rat.
Then the person on horse shouted again towards the warriors who were behind him.
"Whoever catches him alive, will be rewarded with 500 spritual jade stones."
Hearing this every warrior who was in the chase increased their speed and attacked.
Sensing danger , fu yang bolted - running's all he ever learned.
Wush wush. Fu yang dogged the attacks and ran even faster. But while running away with his life on the line he suddenly tripped and fell into a deep pit. Which looked like it was digged recently.
Exhausted, he tried to pull him self up. But his arms gave up.
"Ugh"
" Huff"
He was on the verge of losing his consciousness, his eyes trembling and then the moon light fell on his face.
Scars, deep dark and ugly scars covering his face. His clothes torn -- covered in dirt and his own blood.
But ruthlessly rejecting the exhaustion, he suddenly stood up and looked out of the pit.
And a defeated smile appeared on his ugly face. Out side the pit the warriors had allready surrounded it and were looking directly at
fu yang.
Fu yang then tilted his head and looked at his hands. Thinking
(The moment I landed in this shitty world, I imagined being some kind of legendary figure from old stories.haah,
But Truth smacked me fast. Folks don't just race past me - no - they snatched my stuff and even blamed me, and now after all of this I believe death is the only option that will free me from this miserable life.)
Boots thudded, and a person came who looked like he was the leader of the group, looking straight towards fu yang.
"Hmph - got you now, little rodent."
And warrior jumped in to the pit attacking fu yang.
.
.
Blood gleamed like false light across the wet ground.
One by one , corpes of warriors started filling the pit.
Fu yang was still attacking, and glared towards the leader.
But the leader smirked and shouted.
'Fu Yang,' he said, 'give up now, I will only cripple you and spare your if you tell me about the inheritance you got."
But fu yang didn't replied.
He knew that the opposite party was lying.
Huff... huff.
Fu yangs breath came hard. The warriors moved around him slow, close, hungry - like dogs sniffing weakness. Their stares cut deep, judging, poking at his size, he stayed silent - but the grin inside burned cold.
But fu yang stood straight there, still like he was a stone statue. And closed his eyes.
(I spent three centuries moving fast, taking what I needed, ending lives. Watched people up close - what they really are.).
We call wild animals dangerous; we dread snake bites. Yet people - yeah, people - are secret monsters. They'll rip into you just for a tiny edge.
A deadly serpent ends you fast; but humans? Their harm creeps in, quiet and meaner. A chuckle slipped free, rough like worn hide. Heh. Ha ha haaa.
"So this is where I die— in this filthy swamp." His voice was flat, almost amused.
"At least I thought I'd die somewhere peaceful. Of course — my rotten luck."
A warrior thought to himself that he has gone crazy.
Fu yang glanced upward. Above, stars flickered without warmth; a slim crescent hung there, grinning like it knew his pain and were enjoying seeing it. "Hmm, so the sky's laughing at me now. Alright then - keep watching."
The warriors pulled tighter. Someone grabbed him, hands calloused. "Still believe words will save you?" spat the one in front. "Give it up." A kick slammed into Fu Yang's side. Those shoes craved answers; they craved a corpse to show around. What they really hunted - the prize behind this chase.
Fu Yang let the boot pass over him. He let the pain be, the humiliation, the smell of rust and throat. " Hahaha hahaa, do you think I fear death, than I shall prove to you and also take you all with me."
Even after saying this the warriors didn't stopped and the leader only looked towards the group and waiting for fu yang to lose his consciousness.
But his expectations broke in front of him.
Fu yangs chest suddenly inflated and.
Booom.
The noise tore out from Fu Yang's chest - sharp, blaming. Flame burst open, wild and too much, like someone punched the sky. Yelling got chopped up mid-air. Bodies flew, loose and broken.
The swamp took lives while shooting out mist.
The leader of the warriors was saved and pulled away almost instantly by others.
He was still in shock said in a low while looking towards the pit "What a madman—he detonated himself!
"I'll say only one thing fu yang : may hell be the resting place for you"
With this the leader fell on the ground unconscious.
The night burst loud with sound of shouts and cries
Stirred sludge, shouting commands in a tone masking panic.
Check the body. Don't skip anything. Maybe there's still a clue….
