**Chapter 3 – The World and Dreams**
The bell rang, signaling the start of a new school year.
Students entered the classroom in groups, deliberately keeping their distance from two blonde children sitting in the back: Dio and Himiko. Growing closer every day… one step away from… well, you know.
"Alright, attention everyone!" the teacher announced. "I'll be your teacher for the rest of the year. Let's begin with introductions: tell us what you like, what you dislike, and what you want to be in the future. You in the front, start."
As everyone introduced themselves, Dio and Himiko barely listened. But when they felt eyes turn toward them, they realized it was now their turn.
Himiko stood up first, with a cold and firm gaze:
"Hello, my name is Himiko Toga. My quirk is Transformation: when I ingest someone's blood, I can transform into that person. I like Dio a lot, I don't like people who don't like me, and I want to stay with Dio forever!"
Dio blushed instantly, thinking: *Damn… that's unfair. She's too cute.*
The students, upon hearing about Himiko's quirk, felt chills and kept their distance for the rest of the year.
"Ahem…" the teacher cleared her throat, slightly intimidated.
Dio snapped out of his trance and spoke:
"My name is Dio Brando. You're probably wondering why I'm completely covered. It's because… my quirk is Vampire. Basically, I'm a vampire: sunlight burns me, I can regenerate, I have super strength and speed, and I must consume blood to survive. I like my mom and Himiko, and I dislike people who discriminate others for their quirks. My dream… is to surpass All Might and prove to everyone that I'm not a monster. *I am* the monster! Hahaha!"
He finished with a triumphant smile, and the students' faces turned pale. Many looked away, trying to avoid attracting the attention of the "monster" before them.
"Well… students, let's continue," the teacher said, still intimidated.
Classes continued normally. At the end of the day, Dio and Himiko walked home together, chatting peacefully, when suddenly a man appeared in front of them, laughing hysterically.
"Hahaha! I am Illusion, and I'll make you feel your worst nightmares! I'll savor your screams!"
Dio quickly pulled Himiko behind him and dashed at the villain.
"Hahaha, strange child! Feel the power of illusions!"
Suddenly, the world around him shifted. Dio found himself in the street with Himiko, as if nothing had happened. He got confused
Wasn't I fighting a villain?
But after looking everywhere he couldn't find anyone
*Strange...*
"Argh"
Listening a Scream of pain, Dio shake his head and saw Himiko with a large hole on her belly
"Himiko! Himiko! No! Please!" Dio collapsed into tears.
The only person who accepted him… the only friend… the one he loved… stood impaled before him.

**Himiko POV**
I froze the moment I saw the villain in front of us.
When Dio pulled me back and went to fight him, I became worried…
Huh? What's happening?
"Dio!" I cried out.
Why was he on the ground screaming? I could see his pain, but my legs wouldn't move.
Dio, please!
Tears streamed down my face.

**Dio POV**
Himiko… she's dead…
Arrrgh…
What is this feeling?
Everything around me stopped.
This bastard… will suffer.

**OMNI POV**
Dio charged at the villain with time frozen, unleashing countless unstoppable punches while screaming like a beast that hasn't eaten in a while.
When the two seconds ended and time began to flow again, everyone around froze in shock as they saw a twelve-year-old boy sucking the blood of a man in the middle of the street.
"Fear not! Because I am he- " All Might appeared and was annoucing his entrance when he got stood frozen at the scene before him.
