This morning, my eyes opened at the roof of my room. When I lifted my body there was a weight in it. my gaze went straight to the window seeing the weather started raining.
Hoshito: 'What strange weather this world has… it always changes to fit the atmosphere in every situation…'
I smiled lightly for moment feeling amusement toward the weather. After changing my clothes and went downstairs finding Kasamai drinking coffee while reading some news.
Hoshito: "morning…"
Kasami: "Ah. Good morning Hoshi-San~"
Kasami noticed a heavy expression on my face. He put his cup on the table and looked at me in eyes. His eyes show concern about me. Before he even asked me anything I told him today my sister is visiting me.
He didn't say much as we finishing our breakfast.
After breakfast I washed the dishes while thinking about a way to protect Yui. Kasami was still concerned about started calling me, but my mind was absent at this moment.
Hoshito: 'should I hide her somewhere? But where and how can I explain that to her…?' I thought while hearing Kasami calling me.
Then after getting ignored Kasami had enough and hit my head with side of his arm. I turned to him and showed an annoyed expression.
Hoshito: "What was that for?!"
Kasami: "Hoshito, I understand that you are worried about your sister safety. I won't say you shouldn't worry rather you should focus more to have a good time with her."
My expression began to soft when he said that.
Kasami: "Not only that, you also should try to ask for help if you felt powerless. Asking help isn't sign of weakness if you understand what I mean."
My eyes wide when I heard that as I recall a clip from virtual fighter anime. It was one of my favorite anime I watched in my childhood.
I smiled softly and looked at Kasami.
Hoshito: "Thanks Kasami. I will go and asks if anyone can lend me a hand."
Kasami: "You are welcome."
# Karakura's train station #
The train arrived earlier than I expected as I walked downstairs to welcoming Yui. I looked around to see the place full of crowds of all kinds of people. Eventually my gaze fell to young girl that wears an elegant white dress that stands out from others.
The young girl has dark brown eyes and black eyes similar to mine. Her eyes fell to my eyes, and she smiled at me waving her hand.
Yui: "Hoshi-Nii, over here~!"
I walked to her with smile on my face.
Hoshito: "Oi, I can hear you, you don't have to shout to me."
Yui: "What's with that attitude? Is that how you're welcoming your little sister?" she said while pouting her cheeks.
I brushed her response off and patted her head. We welcomed each other with hug and then started going home. While going home we talked about how things are going and how school is.
Suddenly we pumped Into Ichigo and the gang.
Ishida: "Hello, Yuru-San…"
Orihime: "Hello, Hoshito~!"
Ichigo: "Yo."
Chad raised his hand as greeting.
I greeted them and Yui's eyes wide when she saw them, she looked at me with fishy expression.
Hoshito: "Oi, I know what you are thinking." I said while a comical veil appeared on my head.
Yui: "I didn't say anything." She said while looking away.
I asked them why they were gathering and they said they were going to hang out at Ichigo's house. I suggest we walk together and they accepted.
After walking for a few minutes Ishida came close to me and let his voice low.
Ishida: "Hey, Yuru-San, is what you told us about really going to happen?"
Hoshito: "I'm not sure, but the fact Hollow might target my sister I high." I said with low voice above whisper.
Ishida: "I see… it's good thing you asked us for help before…" — He glanced at my sister for second then looked back at me — "by the way Yuru-San, may I ask you why you are trusting us to protect your sister, we only got acquainting for a week?"
Hoshito: "I'm not trusting fully, and I have no other choice other than asking for your help. beside I got hunch you guys can handle those things."
Ishida looked at me coldly for second and replaced it with neutral expression.
We arrived at Ichigo's house, and we parted ways there. Me and Yui walked silently for few moments and then started talking for few minutes until we arrived home.
Kasami welcomed us with happy eyes, and he might be smiling right now behind that mask. Yui sits on the couch while I go to kitchen to make something to eat. While cooking I noticed the window getting foggy. I didn't take much from it and continued cooking.
After that I gave Yui my cooking and chat for our life and our interests like manga, anime, and some novels. Kasami joined our conversation. We joked, laughed, everything was normal and my worries faded away.
Then Yui stood up and stand close to the glass door of our backyard. Glancing at backyard with sweet smile on her face.
Yui: "Man, this place didn't change much… it's still the loveable house grandma and grandpa lived in…"
Hoshito: "Yeah… it still is."
Yui turned to me smiling on her face, and soft eyes.
Yui: "You know, I feel relief you are doing okay here… Hoshi-Nii."
Hoshito: "Yes?"
Yui: "You are my big idiot brother." She said with teasing sound from her mouth.
I smiled at her and chuckled from her teasing, but my expression shifted when I saw Hollow's mask appear outside of the door. At that moment everything went fast I screamed at Yui to get out there.
Hoshito: "Yui!! Look out!!!"
I got up fast to pull her away, but she wasn't close to me then Kasami went past me and jumped at her moving both aside. At that close moment the Hollow attacked and crashed into the door.
My eyes were closed when the shattered glass came close to me. I don't know what happened at that moment but there was something like a hammer crashed to my back and sending me outside.
My body was heavy I couldn't move it, and my head hurt so much but I raised it even with that pain. That was when I saw six Hollows surrounding the house.
Hoshito: 'Wha- why there's six Hollows?! And how did they get in here without anyone sensing them?!' — I thought with panicking — 'Yui?! Is Yui okay?!!'
My eyes went right and left looking to Yui and found Kasami holding Yui's unconscious body. I felt relief for moment but then I saw my body near them. My eyes wide and just when I crawled my body I heard a metallic sound coming from my chest.
I looked down and saw a chain on my chest. There was part of the chain cracked, and I knew when the chain broke I couldn't go back to my body.
Hoshito: 'Chain of fate!! This is bad! Very bad!!'
Then the Hollows came near smiling at me.
Hollow1: "Found you…"
Hollow2: "… Smelly human~"
