Chapter 2 - Chapter 2 What does Angron's beating have to do with me, the Butcher's Nails?

Why aren't the tranquilizers working!

The High Knights looked at Angron, who was riddled with tranquilizer darts. They couldn't understand why the tranquilizers that had once been effective on Angron now had no effect!

After all, you're hitting Angron, what does that have to do with me, the Butcher's Nails!

System AI controlled Angron, and he began to manipulate his tendrils to contact Angron's spine. Soon, when Angron's physical data appeared directly on the panel—body temperature, heartbeat, blood pressure... Although dazzling, System AI analyzed it immediately.

"Angron!"

A High Knight climbed up from the ground, muttering Angron's name while pulling out his sidearm from his waist. But he was fast! System AI-controlled Angron was faster. The bloody great axe severed his arms. Before a wail could even begin, Angron had already stomped his head directly onto the ground, shattering it like a watermelon. At this point, two of the six High Knights were dead.

They were like wild dogs, kicked to death by System AI as if they were roadside strays.

The remaining four... Oh, no, three.

Another man's thigh was clutched in Angron's hand, his leg bones cracking under the immense force. This High Knight still wanted to resist, but was knocked unconscious by an axe blow.

In the stands, the Slave Masters of the Deshia Arena began to revel. They were pleased by Angron's actions, as they didn't care who was fighting below, whether old Gladiators or High Knights. All they cared about was blood, violence, and as long as it wasn't them... When the last High Knight had his head crushed by angron unit two's palm.

By this time, System AI had collected a large amount of data on Angron's body, and it wasn't over yet. System AI discovered that Angron's brain had a certain degree of damage, and this damage was not caused by him. Although most of it had healed, a small number of nerve fibers were still severed.

System AI also found memories of Angron's childhood, when he was overturned by the Aeldari. Aeldari? How cruel.

Sooner or later, you xenos!

Perhaps it was due to absorbing Angron's emotions, or perhaps he also felt dissatisfied with those elongated things, but System AI still controlled Angron, turned around, picked up Eunomous from the ground, carried him on his shoulder, and again gave the middle finger to the stands.

"Unit remains unstable. Drivable time: two hours and twenty minutes!"

Good thing it wasn't eight hours, otherwise System AI would suspect the Blood God was watching. Four.

In the stands, when the Slave Masters saw Angron carrying Eunomous and attempting to escape, they screamed orders for more High Knights to take him down. System AI even saw the defensive turrets in the arena, under the control of several Tech-Priests of the Adeptus Mechanicus, aiming their dark muzzles!

What to do! What to do! Two.

"Fire control unit detected!"

System AI stopped in his tracks. He turned to look at the eight defensive turrets. He threw Angron's painful emotions, transformed into electrical data, outwards.

"Invading new unit. Invasion successful."

Another small screen appeared. When the eight main red dots turned green.

System AI directly issued the command to fire.

So, to the horrified gaze of the nearby Tech-Priests, he saw the turrets beside him begin to rotate on their own.

"The machine spirit is displeased! The machine spirit is displeased!"

The Tech-Priest let out a piercing electronic sound. He quickly lit an incense burner for the omnissiah and offered sincere prayers, but this still couldn't stop the defensive turrets from emitting their brilliant beams. The first shot directly hit a Slave Master on the highest stand.

Accompanied by a huge rumble.

The Nuceria nobles in the stands finally felt fear. They cursed the Adeptus Mechanicus while quickly fleeing to the escape exits, but the continuously firing meltaguns treated each of them equally.

"Now let me consider how to dismantle this slaughterhouse!"

System AI didn't know why, but he felt no ripple of emotion, even after just killing six High Knights. He wondered if he had truly become a merciless steel construct or... So System AI poked his lower abdomen with his axe.

Basic humanity was still there!

Thinking of this, he took advantage of the fact that the Adeptus Mechanicus had not yet completely dismantled those turrets. He quickly ordered one turret to blast open one of the arena's large gates!

After the smoke cleared and ruins appeared, System AI, carrying Eunomous, stepped directly inside.

The liberation had begun!

Every time System AI arrived at a cell, data flashed, and these electronic devices would directly open the doors for him. The slaves looked at Angron, their kind older brother now carrying Eunomous, rolling his eyes. With just a glance, the electronic devices that imprisoned their freedom directly broke apart.

Such actions directly instilled in these slaves a feeling of a god descending!

System AI handed Eunomous, who was on his shoulder, to an Ogryn. The slaves didn't know this fellow's name, but because of his frequent silly smiles and brutal fighting, the Gladiators had given him a nice name—Big Idiot!

Big Idiot held Eunomous in his arms. His extremely foul stench made even the unconscious Eunomous frown, as this Ogryn had never bathed since arriving there.

The slaves looked up at Angron, waiting for him to speak. No matter what he said, they would pledge allegiance to this warrior who was about to liberate them.

But Angron didn't. He snatched a slave's shield and then silently headed for the exit.

The slaves looked at each other, finding Angron very strange right now, but their long-standing trust in this warm-hearted older brother led everyone to silently follow behind Angron.

When the first figure of a High Knights wearing adamantium power armor appeared in their line of sight.

They saw an afterimage; Angron slammed the High Knights to the ground with his shield, crushing him into fragments with his sheer strength. Then, he threw the axe in his hand, followed by another muffled groan.

"Roar!"

System AI controlled Angron to let out a roar. He really needed to find where Angron's language nerves were located!

"Roar!"

But more roars came from behind him—those were the slaves. This group of Gladiators, suppressed for so long, resolutely followed behind Angron, launching a death-defying charge against those who had once oppressed them!
