He managed to sommon some strenght to counter attack rocks expanded from underground and grew into spikes that pierced suijin at a moment the konoha junin tought he won but the feeling of flesh being Thorn and blood Erupting didn't come instead the suijin before them turned into a water poodle.
Leaving both Junin in shock and then panic stuck. After all if he is no longer with them this mean their disciple were in danger..

Agekis strenght was undeniable chunin level maybe even more at the higher end of it with his monstrous défense.

Himuta only shock his head these kids managed to defeat a high ranking member like Ageki the people of the village coudnt even overcome Ageki let alone Suijin. Only the samourai was capable of that..
By defeating Ageki the ninjas of the leaf made it clear that they are far stronger than anyone in the resistance and can stand à chance against Suijin as for the villager they wouldn't be able to help decisvely.
What they can hope for is for these ninja to at least weaken Suijin enough for them to finish him off once he had no true strenght left.

The cricket growled in rage and charged again.
Izumo and Kotetsu taking advantage of the cricket being pulled back apeared and tried to attack it but before they could get closer water needles shot toward them with deadly presission.
Seeing this they abandoned their attack and used their weapon to deflect while trying to pull back.
Taking advantage of their vulnerability the chef attacked again.
Water release- water lance technique
The water poodle in the batlefied rose again and sliced toward the konoha group intending to severe anything on its path.
The pressure of the water was intense causing the earth bellow it to collapse.
Water release- water ripple- shintoki used his water defense again to intercept the attack but after some time it was broke through by the enemys technique but it gave shintoki and his teamate time to side step to avoid the violent waves.

Shit we cant beat this guy, he clearly is just like sensei. His srenght is proof enough.
He managed to endanger everyone wih one attack while also simultanuously breaking through shintokis technique.
Not to be discouraged shintoki completed another hand sequence.
Water style- water dragon particle.
The water rose again from the nearby poodle created from the prior batle taking the shape of a fearsome dragon and charged at the cricket.
Since shintoki lack the level of chakra and raw strenght he will have to make up with his brain to ballance thing out after all he had no illusion in winning with simple technique.
The cricket evaded the dragon by taking off toward the sky but the dragon followed it upward trying to grap it.
The enemy seeing the dragon comming sneared he gathered his chakra for another lance of water intending to slice through it allong everything undergound.
Its clear with his new build of chakra he would also destroy the soil bellow and cause great damage.
But just as he prepared to fire his attack he noticed the dragon starting to grow which make him sudenly tense.
Something was wrong.
Oh no the dragon is about to blow up, realized suijin with horror.
Seeing this he huriedly gathered more chakra and fired his atack intending to defend but it was too late.
Ths dragon exploded causing a huge shockwave tha erupt everywhere not only redirecting the enemies attack.
The cricket released a cry that send shockwave through its surounding trying to slice through the Waves of water.
but some part of it still got caught in the explosion shockwave.
It seem like it was not just simple water.
The enmy remarked his face dark and grim.
Indeed shintoki had distractefully sommoned explosif tags inside the waves he used to form the dragon and it exploded just as the dragon was also about ti explode causing the shockwave formed it be much more stronger and take the enemy by surprise.
Now the enormous cricket has been wounded but shintoki was not uptimistic in the explosion being enough to finish off the enemy.
Severals kunais shot towards the crickets forcing the enemy to snap out of his dilemma. They were launched by izumo and kotetsu who were waiting for an opportunity.
Boooom another explosion happened shaking the surounding.
A huge shadow tail hammered the terrain sending everyone flying away.
Then slamed on shintoki.
Shintoki! Cryed his teamate.
Shintoki was send flying but before he can hit the ground the cricket leg pierced through him.
Then the shintoki who was hit disolved in thin air.
What the? A clone.. no genjutsu?
This kid... kenjutsu, ninjutsu, sneak tactic and now genjutsu?

This brat, had the audacity to mess with him.

Severals flying slash sudenly flew toward the cricket cuting its escape toward the sky and forcing it fall down.
That is when a rock of pilar rose up and hit the cricket who couldn't move up nor down making it collapse and loose ballance.
Damn it, being humiliated like this by some brats.
The crickets fall resulted in suijin also loosing his ballance.
As expected a junin wont go down so easily
Dama-sensei then fell on his leg breathing heavily and shintoki started to approche him.
The cricket stand up again this time very pissed.
It shot itself up and tried to hit the now arrived Dama-sensei and was behind the earth style in Fury but that is when another voice sounded.
Gatsuga- a Drill of chakra sudenly stuck the cricket sending it flying.
