Chapter 78 - Ch 78: The Caretaker Named Gyu

‎Gyu strength is roughly around Stage 1, Energy Root Activation, sub‑stage 1—more than enough for careful, everyday tasks but far from real combat.

‎The Vyuhas built into Gyu are:

‎- Essence Core Vyuha – A compact formation inside her chest that stores and cycles essence, acting as her "battery" and powering all other arrays.

‎- Motion‑Thread Vyuha – Runs through her limbs like invisible tendons, converting core energy into smooth, human‑like movements while limiting speed and force so she never harms Rudra by accident.

‎- Balance‑Step Vyuha – Continuously reads weight and floor contact, keeping her steady while walking, turning, kneeling, or carrying the baby.

‎- Senseweave Vyuha – Simple "senses" tied to her eyes, skin, and ears: sight for shapes and distance, touch for pressure and temperature, and sound for voices and cries.

‎- Command‑Echo Vyuha – Listens for a small set of spoken orders or focused intent ("come," "stop," "rock him," "feed him") and translates them into internal actions.

‎- Reflex‑Path Vyuha – Stores fixed response chains, such as "if Rudra is falling, drop everything and catch," or "if crying continues for several breaths, check hunger → diaper → temperature in that order."

‎- Priority‑Gate Vyuha – Prevents dangerous conflicts between orders by always putting Rudra's safety first; she will secure him before obeying any other command.

‎- Gentle‑Grip Vyuha – Caps the strength in her hands and arms, forcing every touch within a safe range suitable for a fragile infant.

‎- Word‑Spark Vyuha – Shapes sound element in her throat chamber to produce short, clear phrases like "Yes, Sir," "No, Sir," "Hungry," and "Sleeping."

‎- Tone‑Softening Vyuha – Smooths those sounds so her voice comes out warm and calm instead of harsh or metallic, helping Rudra feel safe around her.

‎Sacral Clone didn't think about Gyu any further. He lay down on his bed, and the moment his head touched the pillow, exhaustion dragged him under.

‎He hadn't rested properly in days; planning and crafting the puppet had drained both mind and body, and sleep claimed him almost instantly.

‎On the other side of the fortress, Gyu stepped out of the workshop and ran straight toward the top floor, her footsteps light yet precise as she headed for Kamal's room.

‎___

‎Top floor, Kamal's room.

‎Kamal sat on the bed watching the news on the television, while Sanya played with Rudra on the blanket‑covered floor.

‎On the screen, a serious‑faced anchor was announcing that India had successfully developed the strongest known weapon based on essence flow, but had paid a political price for it.

‎India had agreed to share part of its research with certain nations—the Freedom Union, the Xing Nation, the Great Zulu Federation, the Downunder Federation, and others. For friendlier partners like the Eurasian Union and the Empire of the Rising Sun, it had offered even more generous cooperation.

‎In contrast, enemy states such as the Karakoram Federation were formally excluded; not a single line of research would be handed to them.

‎If those neighbours grew bold and reached greedy hands toward India, the government was prepared to show them the true power of the new weapon.

‎In private, India's leaders also wished they could crush the Xing Nation just as decisively as the Karakoram Federation, but Xing was too strong and too distant, so direct confrontation was off the table—for now.

‎Kamal was quietly shocked that India had already completed an essence‑flow weapon. He was about to go inform Solar Clone or Sacral Clone when a knock sounded at the door and a calm female voice spoke from outside.

‎"Sir, I, Gyu, in the service of Rudra‑sir, have come to take care of him. Please give me the opportunity."

‎An unfamiliar woman's voice inside their hidden fortress made both Kamal and Sanya freeze for a moment, but there was no fear in their eyes.

‎They trusted the fortress and, more than that, they trusted Ankit's strength.

‎Kamal opened the door. A young woman, looking to be about twenty, stood in the hallway. At a glance she seemed ordinary, but the longer he looked, the more something felt subtly off—too balanced, too controlled.

‎Thanks to the Law of Observing Eyes, Kamal's perception had sharpened; he could sense the strangeness even if he couldn't pinpoint it.

‎He guessed Ankit must have arranged this. "Were you sent by Ankit?" he asked.

‎"Yes, sir," Gyu replied calmly.

‎Kamal's guess solidified into certainty. "All right, come in. Rudra is playing right now—you can play with him too."

‎Leaving her there, he stepped out to find Solar Clone and Sacral Clone. Sacral was in the fields with Neelam, so Kamal headed that way.

‎Inside the room, Gyu watched him leave, then stepped over the threshold. Her gaze moved to Sanya, who was studying her with open curiosity, and then to Rudra, who was laughing and staring at her with bright, puzzled eyes.

‎After a brief assessment, she found that the child had no immediate needs, so she simply took up a quiet position by the side of the bed, standing still.

‎Sanya broke the silence first. "What's your name?"

‎"My name is Gyu, Miss," the girl answered.

‎Sanya gestured for her to sit. "Come, sit down. Where are you from? Which place? How old are you?"

‎She genuinely wanted to know more about this calm stranger.

‎The fact that someone new had appeared inside their secret fortress didn't worry her; if her brother had allowed this girl in, then he must already have checked that she posed no threat and would never leak their secrets.

‎But the reply Gyu gave to that simple question left Sanya completely dumbfounded.
