After exiting the game, Mordan left his personal room and walked to his office.
He called Umang and handed him a small chip.
"Deliver this to the Technology Development Department."
Umang looked at the chip curiously.
"Sir, what is this?"
Mordan explained simply.
"I told you before about game items turning into reality. This is the technology. We have to build it ourselves. It won't be magical—we have to use our own resources."
Umang nodded.
He felt the same surprise inside as Mordan did earlier, but he didn't say anything more.
He left the room to deliver it.
Mordan sat down and began his work.
Two hours passed.
Mordan was still focused on his files when he noticed something.
A simple box had been placed on his desk.
Where did it come from?
When did it arrive?
He didn't know.
But he didn't panic.
He was a cultivator—much stronger than most people on Earth.
Whoever placed it there was likely far stronger than him. He couldn't even sense their presence.
He also stayed calm because he saw a name written on the package.
Eternal Ascendancy
He knew immediately—this was the item sent by the game company.
He quickly opened it.
Inside was a tablet-like device.
There were also instructions and a short note:
"Thank you for becoming our partner."
Mordan looked at the device for a moment, then placed it on the table.
He couldn't use it yet.
The Concord was still under construction, so he would wait.
For now, he had work to do.
Just as he returned to his work, a subordinate entered the room.
"Sir, the alliance meeting has been called. The others are waiting for you."
Mordan nodded and followed the subordinate to a different room.
He entered.
The subordinate stayed outside.
This room was different.
It had only a round table in the center with four chairs—nothing else.
On three of the chairs sat three people: one female and two males.
Mordan greeted them politely and took the last empty seat.
The others greeted him back with warm smiles.
The female—the leader of the Helvetica Union—spoke first.
"Thank you, Sir Mordan, for sharing that information. We will definitely become stronger and more advanced with the Concords."
The other two nodded.
"She's right. We are also very thankful for this opportunity."
Mordan smiled humbly and replied,
"You're welcome. We're all in this together. Let's make the most of it."
The female member—the leader of Helvetica Union—leaned forward slightly, her tone teasing but sharp.
"But you didn't tell us you got a real breathing technique too? Really keeping secrets."
She paused, then added with a raised eyebrow,
"And saying it's 1000 times better than the Xuan breathing technique… even I find that hard to believe. Where did you even find it? Or did someone create it?"
Mordan looked a little awkward. He rubbed the back of his neck and said,
"Well… we got it from the Yutsa valley. That place doesn't have anything else—just this one old book. It looked very ancient and valuable. We didn't know if it was dangerous or not, so we kept it to ourselves and tested it carefully. Recently we got confirmation that it's safe… and it really is 1000 times more powerful than the Xuan technique. I didn't get the chance to tell you earlier, and after that I just used it to attract players."
The three people in the room went quiet for a moment.
They exchanged quick glances.
Yutsa valley… did they get anything more?
They guessed Mordan wasn't telling the full truth.
He had likely found more than just one book.
The story about it being dangerous and secretly testing it felt like an excuse.
If it was really dangerous, Mordan wouldn't have risked using it himself—he would've let other countries try first.
They didn't blame him, though.
They would have done the same if they were in his position—keep the best things secret, build strength quietly, protect their own people first.
Still, curiosity burned in their minds.
What else had India found in Yutsa valley?
How many cultivators had they already made?
How far ahead were they really?
But they didn't ask.
Pushing too hard would likely damage their relationship.
On the other hand, Mordan was thinking to himself:
Well, I know they won't completely believe me. They'll only believe some parts. But what of it? I didn't just tell a few lies—I told nothing but lies. I got more things along with the breathing technique, but not from Yutsa valley. I got them from Sir Heart.
They don't need to know that. I made sure not to give any hints about Sir Heart or his existence.
He hadn't just slipped in a lie here and there.
He had woven the entire story with lies—carefully, deliberately—so no hint of the truth could slip through.
Mordan really was a smart politician.
Seeing the tense atmosphere in the room, he spoke up, voice calm and generous.
"Don't worry. If you want, we can trade for the breathing technique. Do you want it?"
Instantly, all three leaders' faces lit up with excitement.
If they could get the benefits, they wouldn't ask where the things came from or how many more there were.
They just wanted in.
They gave Mordan small, grateful smiles.
"Thank you again for considering us."
Mordan nodded modestly.
"No worries. We're an alliance, right?"
The others agreed immediately.
"Yes, of course."
Mordan leaned back slightly, changing the topic smoothly.
"Tell me, why did you call this meeting? I was busy with my work."
