Chapter 263 - Ch 263: India Concord Future Course of Action

‎In the Eternal Ascendancy – Mordan's player lobby

Mordan stood quietly, listening to IC-AI's report.

"Concord Leader, all council members have been finalized. As you requested, no one knows their identities. They cannot cheat or conspire."

Mordan nodded. If council members knew each other, they could plot against him. Keeping them anonymous was safer—even he didn't know who they were.

He then asked, "Is the Concord construction finished?"

IC-AI replied, "Yes, sir. The Concord lobby is complete. You can use it without issues."

Mordan nodded again. Inside, he felt satisfied. The real work was about to begin. People would start new lives inside the game.

He had also received requests from many private companies asking for space inside the Concord.

He would agree and recover his earlier losses through them.

But then IC-AI spoke again, instantly souring his good mood.

"Sir, the rare machine you planned to duplicate 20 times will cost more."

"After every 10 duplications, the data is lost. You must scan the item again."

Mordan's expression darkened. Scanning cost far more than duplicating inside the game.

If he could duplicate 20 times without re-scanning, he would pay less. But now he had to pay extra for each new scan.

He swallowed the bitterness. There was nothing he could do. He needed those machines.

He exhaled slowly.

"Fine. Proceed with the scans. We'll pay whatever it takes."

IC-AI responded calmly, "Understood, sir. Scanning process starting again now."

After that, Mordan decided to visit the Concord and invite people inside.

His surroundings slowly changed. He found himself floating in mid-air. This flying ability was one of the perks for him as Concord leader.

He saw the vast land of the Concord—larger than India's real-world territory. A full 4000 kilometers!

He had planned to roam the continent, but seeing its sheer size, he gave up the idea. Instead, he flew straight toward the core area.

The Concord was divided into three areas: Outer, Inner, and Core.

The Core was where he and important people lived and worked. Only permitted individuals could enter.

The Inner area was for government officials, institutions, departments, schools, colleges, and key facilities.

Mordan planned to create an academy here. He knew the future would shift—students studying in Eternal Ascendancy instead of real life.

He could build an academy and train manpower directly. But not yet. It would cost money, and he had already spent so much. He would do it after recovering his losses.

The Outer area was for everyone else—private organizations, newly recruited people, and general citizens.

He had also bought puppets to handle work and maintenance across the Concord.

After reaching the Core area, Mordan went straight to his personal residence.

This residence wasn't big compared to others in the Concord, but Mordan liked it. It was exactly the same as his real-world residence. He felt comfortable here.

He had scanned the house and made it appear in the game world.

Of course, he paid with his own money. The cost wasn't much—the residence wasn't complex.

Mordan then invited General Amit, Umang, and a few of his most loyal people who were already inside Eternal Ascendancy.

They appeared directly in front of him.

He had summoned them using his Concord Leader authority. Otherwise, they would have spawned at one of the core area's respawn points.

Each area of the Concord had its own respawn points to receive incoming individuals in an organized way.

They couldn't choose their own respawn location—unlike Ecliptic Bound Sect or normal sects, where members could select personal points.

The Concords were different from sects. Their functions and scope were far broader.

They were working places. People couldn't just appear anywhere randomly.

Of course, if the Concord Leader wished, he could grant such authority to select individuals.

And Mordan was about to do exactly that.

He planned to give these people the authority to choose their own respawn points.

Not just that—he would also grant them the ability to teleport anywhere inside the Concord, command worker puppets for tasks, and access IC-AI directly for queries, suggestions, or assistance.

This way, they could work efficiently.

He first explained the Concord to the confused group—its structure, purpose, their responsibilities, and the new authorities they were receiving.

Then they began the meeting in Mordan's residence.

This was the first official meeting inside the game world.

They discussed future plans in detail.

What steps should they take to build an even stronger foundation?

What should they focus on first?

How to handle private organizations entering the Concord? How much tax should they charge?

From when should they start student studies in the game world?

They talked about everything needed for the future—recruitment, resource allocation, security, expansion, alliances, and more.

After reaching agreement on each topic, Mordan made the final decision and finalized the course of action.

The meeting stretched for hours.

Finally, half a day passed before it ended.

Normal humans would surely be exhausted after half a day of continuous discussion and brainwork.

But the people present were all cultivators, so they weren't tired at all.
