Seven Sceptre was a webnovel started 4 years ago and it became so famous that it was adapted to an animated series.
I read the novel from the very beginning of it's origin. The day it's first chapter came, I was scrolling through a webnovel website just to pass time and I found this novel. I was among the top 10 readers of this novel and the first chapter was so amazing that it made me addicted to it.
Since then 4 years has passed and today, it's Virtual Reality game is releasing by the world's most influential gaming company which collaborated with the author of the novel—Softhardware Inc.
The company itself developed a new VR system by investing billions in new technology and it's creating and they called it Shining Star Version 1.
The game—Seven Sceptre is only available for that VR.
Everyone thought that this game was gonna be the most expensive as it was only available for one VR system and the VR system itself will also be very expensive.
I was one of them too.
And then, the time arrived.
27th July, 2065 , Monday, 03:00 PM, the sales of the VR system and the game started.
The game sales was not much complicated as there was no CD thing for the game. The game was in software form available on their website and the extension of the game supported the VR system.
But the VR system, it's sale was complicated. The first batch was available only in limited number.
Only 700000 models were sent around the country and there were around 12 million costumers for it.
And so, I wasn't among those lucky costumers who got to buy it.
The next batch arrived the next week with 2.1 million models and again, I failed to get my hand on one.
Like that a month passed and so, finally I got my hand on the Shining Star Version 1.
It was very unique in design. Brown colored fancy glasses with square shaped frames.
There was no nose pad and the hing, temple and temple tips were of dark brown.
There were few buttons on the area between hinge and temple.
Those buttons were to turn on and off the game with some other buttons for other settings.
Many people who had this VR set often use this as sunglasses too.
When you turn on this VR set and log in in your game, your consciousness shfits to another world and your body goes into deep sleep. But during that deep sleep, as time passes you will feel hungry and thirsty in the virtual world and the only way to get rid of that hunger and thirst is to log off, eat and drink and log in again.

That night, I was so excited to play the game. I logged into the VR set and installed the game in it. My room was a bit messy. I lived on the first floor of my house. The walls white like white concrete.

And then, the black screen was covered by azure blue patches on the corners and then a loading wheel of white color came with loading written beneath it.

That was the first screen which popped up after the loading wheel. The background was still black with the azure blue patches on the corner. The only thing which changed was the loading wheel disappeared and another screen of rectangular shaped came with white background and the letters written in black.
I thought for few seconds, and then those seconds changed into minutes but I didn't come close to any name. Many names passed my mind but I just couldn't choose any as they didn't fit my name.
My name is Sam, and I needed a name which would fit me.
Around a quarter of an hour passed and then a name popped in my mind.

I said with a calm voice, "Yes."
And my consciousness said to the system that I was okay with this name.
And then, the same loading wheel appeared again for few seconds.
My heart was beating so fast that even in the game I could hear it. My breath were too nervous and the goosebumps I was feeling were making me go crazy.
The first thing which came right infront of my eyes was the blue sky with white clouds and the sun hidden behind the clouds.
For few seconds, I was lost in the sky, I was admiring it but then I felt it, I was falling towards the ground.
My body moved towards the ground, my clothes were not what I was wearing. They changed.
It was a half sleeves plain black tshirt but inside the tshirt I was wearing something which was of full sleeved and was also of same black color and covered my arm till my hands on both side.
For the bottom, I was wearing shorts, black shorts but inside the shorts, again I was wearing something black in color which covered my whole legs till my feet.
For the shoes, they were sneakers, black colored sneakers.
Beneath me was the ground, a green ground covered in grass with trees around it and a river flowing at a distance from it.
But the main question which was in my mind right now was, "Wait, am I gonna die so soon? "
