Chapter 17 - CHAPTER 17: Free

Malon held his sisters ring tight in his hands, this was the only clue he had of her. But the problem with this clue was that it just signaled to her family that she was in trouble. It was unable to provide information like where she was, Malon looked around the back a few more times and actually managed to find a note reading for whoever finds this.

FOR WHOEVER FINDS THIS I HAVE A GIRL THAT HAS VERY HEALTHY LIMBS AND IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO FIX YOUR BROKEN LIMBS THEN COME TO THE ADRESS BELOW

*PRCES WILL VARY*

ST JONES AVENUE WAREHOUSE #8

Malon's jaw dropped, if this really was his sister than this would count as human trafficking. His very own sister would be ripped to pieces until there was no more left of her. But the only thing that Malon was thankful for was that he was the first to find this note so no one else would try to get his sisters limbs. He tucked the note in his pocket and grabbed the nearest vehicle which happened to be a sports car that was limited edition. Worth one million dollars as minimum, but Malon didn't care and put in the keys which happened to be in the cup holder. The car's doors were wide open, which might have been bait, still though Malon couldn't give a f*ck. The car accelerated about a hundred mile per hour. He almost fell out of his seat, and he would have if it wasn't for his seatbelt tucked in tight. Making it hard for him to even move to begin with.

And with that Malon was already on his way to save his little sister, his little Fagget. The one that he got mad at for throwing up in his lap, the one that laughed whenever he fell. The same Fagget that was now basically a teenage girl, she had grown so much past what Malon could even remember. And human trafficking for that sister was a big NO NO, so of course as soon as he saw a car it didn't matter how expensive it was. His sister was more expensive to him, in fact a human life in general that wasn't related to him is more expensive than a luxury car. Which was why Malon didn't mind doing any of this, he knew that if it was him than Fagget would have come to his rescue a lot quicker than he did. Because she was Fagget.

As soon as Malon arrived at the shady Warehouse, he could already feel chills running down his spine. The warehouse was rusted up and seemed like a fire had caught on the building and gave it no mercy. That would also explain the awful odor coming from inside, Malon managed to find a cloth wrap inside the car and covered it up on his way out. When he stepped up to the door, he could hear a million creaks coming from all directions. It hit him at that moment that he didn't even know what he was doing, sure he wanted to save his sister, but it wasn't like he was trained in anything. if he tried saving Fagget and someone came charging at them they would both be toast.

Still though he kept going persistent to finish what he had started, after all he was the one who had let Fagget go to the festival and the witch. This was all his fault, so he had to fix it, but of course the doorknob wouldn't open. Malon caught the site of a used camera, so he tried to flash the note he found in front of the camera and to his surprise it really worked. There was a weird scratching noise with a mix of a loud siren and then the camera started flashing red. Malon tried to push the door open but to his dismay it didn't budge. Then everything went back to normal and Malon realized that the people that were keeping his sister captive must know that he was her brother.

So, he decided that he would sneak around the back to find any open windows that he could jump through. And surprisingly on the last row was a window wide open, which also looked like bait to Malon, but he didn't care. The window wasn't too far up and there were actually stairs leading up to it. So, Malon didn't have to even lift a finger, when he stepped inside the abandon looking warehouse, he noticed the lights kept on flickering. At first, he got frightened from them, but he quickly adjusted to it, like how you adjust to the darkness after a bit. He tried to be as quiet as possible walking through the crooked floors that kept on making creek noises that made Malon go crazy. Then finally there was a room from a distance that clearly read in bold red, human trafficking room. At that moment Malon knew this was where they were holding his sister captive.

I sighed one last time when I was for sure that the man had left, I was definitely sure now that my dad had sent him. I mean it wouldn't make sense for a random man to barge into your house and ask for your name. What confused me the most though was how the man was able to enter, Iris had blocked me from leaving. Unless all along I was just being tricked and I was able to escape all I wanted. I looked down at the Vannel bag still thrown on the ground; I took a second to spit on it then ran for the door. And like I had just predicted I could open the door with no problems, I took a moment to breathe in fresh air.

I was really free to do what I wanted at last, but with money. When that thought crossed my mind, I realized that I really never did have any money. I directed myself to face her Vannel bag, she deserved this any ways for breaking our deal. As soon as I opened up her bag thick stacks of money met my hand and when I pulled them out, they were hundred-dollar bills. I decided to be kind and only take one stack which I estimated to be about ten thousand dollars. 'F*ck you Iris if you have all this money why can't you give me the damn job we agreed on!' I mused.

But I had a bad feeling that Iris was hiding something from me, not just the cash but maybe something much bigger. Something that I shouldn't know, but of course those were just my delusions, and my delusions never seemed to become a reality. Because of that I decided to just ignore this bad feeling and decide to be free. A thought crossed my mind at that moment, what was stopping me from stealing all of Iris's fortune and just running away? With that thought now grinding in my head I grabbed Iris's Vannel bag and made a run for it. I was finally going to be free, free of Iris, free of betrayal. I just wanted to be alone with myself, and if that meant that I might had to go back in the streets then I really didn't mind.

As soon as I left the chambers of the house, I saw many shops including a mall, a food court. And one thing caught my eye, a hotel, but would Iris know that I was in that hotel, or would she just assume I was lost in her house. "I'm running away far far away from this area; I need to leave this place behind." And that was the begging I would now have to find transportation to escape this place. The first thing that came to mind though was a train station that would be the perfect place to go in my situation right now. It was the only option. I had no other choice. But at least I was now free.

Malon inched closer and closer to the door cautious of anything, after all the people holding Fagget captive clearly didn't want him in here. And obviously didn't want Fagget to be free from their clutches, but the crooked floors that kept making all sorts of noises kept making Malon worry. If they kept hearing that they would most likely check out what was going on. That was of course if they were even here, but they probably already set precautions anyways so he couldn't act chill. He picked up a piece of metal on the ground when he was close enough to the door and threw it at the knob. It immediately electrified the metal. And the metal fell down to the ground and made a large spark that sent Malon flying backwards. Since it looked far too dangerous, but he still slightly got slightly shocked.

He stayed laying on the ground for a minute or two before barely getting up, he threw another piece of metal to see if the electricity was still activated. It wasn't. He quickly rushed through the door just in case the electricity activated again. There in the room was his sister looking around in all directions while the lights flickered. The room was a lot larger than Malon had expected and it was surrounded with stacks of cardboard boxes everywhere. Fagget finally caught sight of him, "MALON OH MY GOD YOUR HERE!" Malon smiled slightly before signaling Fagget to be quiet, he tried to untie the strings on her, but they wouldn't budge.

"Sh*t," she heard him say under his breath, but before he had given up Malon found a button on the bottom that was red. He clicked it. And in a blink of an eye Fagget had been freed from the clutches of the strings. She got up from the ground staring directly at Malon and broke into tears. "MALON OH MY GOD OH MY GOD, YOU SAVED ME IM FREE I WAS SO SCARED!" Malon shushed her once again and threw another metal scrap. There was no spark, so he walked through, the window in which he came from was still open, so he grabbed Fagget's hand and made a run for the stairs. He practically dragged her down the stairs and slammed her into the sports car and just like that so damn easily. They were both free.
