Chapter 8 - LOST MEMORIES

Who???

You were his name in your sleep again and again; you must know him. You were saying his name all night. Are you really sure you don't know?

I already told you, I don't know.

(After the boy said he didn't know, he swiftly searched through books on the shelf)

 What are you looking for?

A book that can help increase my horrible speed. The Source of Cyber Technology, nope. The Shadowy steps, nope. DRA..NIOC SLAVE.

(Ruven felt an uncontrollable rage rising within him; in his fury, he threw the book he withheld to the opposite shelf)

What's your deal? Did you have to throw the book like that?

What was so bad for you to throw the b-bo..ok away?

(She had a similar rage that he previously had, but she withdrew her weapon and repeatedly thrust this book that invoked their rage.)

WHY DID A LIKE THIS BOOK EXIST!?

 Let's go, I didn't find what I wanted.

(They departed after Hansai had thoroughly returned the books, and departed for the canteen. )

That's why I was kinda not happy knowing I was a dragon. From the strongest, terrifying race to just slaves. WHY!?

It's because humans constantly told their kind that we're monsters that destroy and kill all and everything in their stories, to the point that they blamed us for their own evil actions.

That makes sense; why they constantly push that if they can control the narrative, they can have whatever agenda they want?

Here's your food, and I'll need to change your badges later.

(She took him to the infirmary, after he was done and examined his wound, and they were healing, but some wounds were still fresh, especially one on his neck.)

That'll leave a scar, but you're lucky; you'll heal in two days.

You'll never keep me down.

Yeah, you're tenacious, but please, don't put yourself in dangerous situations. Got it, ok, it's time for you to go to sleep.

(Hansai rolled the boy to his room and laid him on his bed. He swiftly descended to sleep as she left. He began to dream; his surroundings were all crimson, and two figures stood within it.)

Who are these guys? Are they just standing still? Why is everything red?

(No answers were given to him, but as he focused his sight on the two figures, their appearance became clear as he did. He awoke.)

That's the third time I've had that dream. What is it trying to tell me?

(Bang)

Ruven, come on, get up.

What's the rush?

(In his daze, he followed him to the courtyard, but not knowing, Harry was in a different, humanoid form. )

Use your powers, but calm down, breathe in and out.

We're doing this now!? I don't know. If I can.

Try your best, or do you want it to control you for the rest of your life, man?

(Ruven was slightly convinced by his words, so he attempted, and a red liquid came out of his eyes, and a crimson aura engulfed him.)

Are you good, kid? I take your growls as a no.

ARRRRGH!

No hard feelings. Kid, but I have to put you down.

(The boy rushed towards him, frenetically striking him, but Harry evaded all of them, and he kicked him away with a mighty blow.)

That should do it-, hold on!

(explosion)

That was close

(As Harry recovered from it, he swiftly struck him, inflicting a claw mark on him.)

I guess I need to stop playing around.

WIND INFORCEMENT WINDSTROM.

(Harry ran towards the boy in his frantic state. Ruven, not realizing the perilous danger, rushed toward him. As he did, Harry lifted his leg and struck him with a heel kick.)

Hansa! Heal him.

(They repeatedly attempted again and again until the night fell upon them.)

That's enough, take him and go heal him. I need to go to sleep for this mission.

Those three sure were having fun watching.
