Chapter 4 - A Mystery Unveiled

Please point out any mistakes please. I went through and corrected mistakes in this chapter as well so there shouldn't be as many but I am just one person so there are likely several things u may have missed while reading through it.

#Warning!! - I am not good at designing clothes, I'm not a fashion person whatsoever, I have to constantly look up clothing names to properly describe stuff so if you don't like what I come up with you can imagine something you may like better.

You may also recommend designs if you want but don't give me too much flak for my designs.

Also this chapter has a bit of talking.

______

A roar resounded through the void of the dimensional gap.

"Only one this could be is Red."

At her words a rip in space suddenly appeared, and from it a massive horned, four winged western dragon appeared.

Its massive formed slowly drifted through the space rift until its entire body was through, the rip closing shortly after.

"Ophis, what is it that you've brought into this world. I had decided to only watch before, but that weapon is far too dangerous to this world." The true red dragons voice boomed into the world, much louder than how anyone should be speaking.

'No wonder Ophis didn't wan't to share a space with this guy, if he's this loud all the time I'd be tired of him too.' Ophis thought covering her ears with her hands.

He wasn't incorrect however, Laevatein is a weapon with not only the Anti-World traits but also the Anti-Life and Anti-Divine. In the world of DxD one of the worlds primary powers and concepts in its Gods ergo with the worlds name being Draconic Deus. This not only refers to Great Red and Ophis who are Dragons and Gods at the same time. But also the fact that dragons and gods are the strongest species and the worlds primary power source.

Laevatein is a direct threat to one of the worlds primary beings, and a threat to the world itself.

"First of all, quiet down you loud mouth. You're right in front of me no need to be so loud." She answered with spite in her voice.

"Hmm… something about you has changed. You've also grown stronger, what's going on here…" his voice was both confused and curious and thankfully much quieter. This was likely the first time he didn't know what was going on.

"Could it be you were the one the Worlds Will told me about? About some type of chat group of the humans?" Great Red questioned

'Oh? It told him about that?' Ophis wondered.

{Of course it did. Great Red is the designated "Guardian" of the DxD world. Its "strongest entity" that oversees everything.}

'Makes sense I suppose.'

"Indeed, I was the one chosen to be this worlds chat group representative. It's how I obtained this weapon. My increase in personal power on the other hand is my own ability." She replied after her brief exchange with her system.

"But why did it choose you? It was supposed to go to a weaker entity, one that would care for the world more deeply. You are ill-suited for the task." Red replied after a quick thought, his opinion on the matter quite clear.

"Take it up with those who chose me in the first place, I have nothing to explain to you." Ophis answered starting to find her own reason to dislike the giant dragon.

*Huff

"It's not like it matters much who was chosen. I have and will continue to watch over the world so it may continue on its correct path." The True Red Dragon said, huffing along the way. "I'll leave you to your business, as long as the Worlds will approves, I will take no action."

His enormous body drifted off and another large rip in space appeared in front of him and his body drifted through.

"What a guy that one is…" The Ouroboros said to herself shaking her head in exasperation. "Now back to Laevatein."

She wasn't quite sure how she'd use it effectively, although she could technically just make herself large enough to wield it that would look… weird at the very least.

{I could make it smaller for you.}

Shaking her head Ophis said "No, I want to do this type of stuff myself. I appreciate it though."

{…}

She wanted to find solutions for problems on her own, she only let the system help her mark the swarm disaster bugs before because it was an emergency. After all, using her powers in unique ways to try and find solutions to problems is a way to train her powers.

"I will take hints though" she said offhandedly still trying to think.

She of course wouldn't refuse guidance, simply wanted to do it with her own ability.

{Space manipulation is the direction you should be thinking in.}

'Space manipulation..hmmm'

What is space?

Space is the distance between everything.

Space is the area where things exist

Space is the thing in which all things are enveloped.

If something exists in space, then it takes up space while also existing in space.

Space is everywhere, occupying and being occupied by all things.

"I got it!" Ophis shouted, reaching an epiphany.

"I can fold the the space around the Laevatein, reducing the area it occupies and the distance it generates."

Though Ophis now knew what she wanted to try, she wasn't too keen on testing it immediately. After all, she didn't want to risk folding Laevatein out of existence by accident.

"Let's test it on something else first, so still, I have to go outside into the world for this." She said letting out a sigh.

However there was still a single other problem, clothing. Since she came to this world she's been a nothing but a black cloak that covered her whole body.

Even though it worked she didn't particularly want to go around in it.

"I'm definitely not wearing any of Ophis's canon clothing either… she has like one set of half decent clothes and it's not really my style."

.

.

.

.

"Meh, whatever I'll just go with this."

The black cloak, which was just apart of her shapeshifting power, began to transform. First it separated into four parts, a black shorts half her thighs length. a black fitted t-shirt with white snake designs wrapping around the body climbing to the neck. a white jacket with black snake designs wrapping around the shoulders climbing along the arms towards the wrists. And finally a pair of white and black high top sneakers with the symbol of a snake eating its own tail where a logo would be.

"I won't fit the style of this era but I don't really care. It should be around the 1900's right now since the DxD canon started in 2000 something."

Although Her choice of outfit looked much like something one would be able to find on Pinterest, it was the only thing "she" could come up with for now.

"Who knows, I might spark an early fashion shift." Ophis said with a shrug.

Placing Laevatein back into her inventory she was now fully ready.

Raising her hand she traced a line in front of her, following her motion the space in front of her tore open. The opening was a chaos of colors showing nothing beyond it, she had made a cut in space with no destination in mind, causing it to be random.

"Wonder where I'll end up."

____

Stepping through the portal Ophis was immediately met with a large golden spear directly to the face. Catching the blade of the spear before it could hit her, she set it down and took ahold of it by the shaft.

Looking away from the spear she looked up to witness her assailant.

In front of her stood 100 people dressed in kimonos and other similar robes. They all looked at her with eyes of terror as if she were a monster beyond anything they've ever seen before.

She watched on as they mumbled to each other trying to figure out where she was.

'These guys all have divinity, and are all wearing Kimonos so definitely Japan at least.'

Until the mumbling stopped and the main guy, the one at the center and likely the one who threw the spear, shouted something in Japanese while pointing at her.

"侵入者め!お前は何者だ?なぜここに来た?"(Invader! Who are you and why have you come here!?)

"Oh yeah, I don't have that language ability. System can you translate?" Ophis asked not having a clue what was just said to her.

And since this wasn't something she could solve with her current power set she didn't feel bad asking the system for help.

{I'll do you one better, I'll simply make it so you can understand and speak it yourself.}

A sensation flashed through her mind and suddenly she could understand what was being said.

"Do you now know where you are!? This is Takamagahara! No matter how strong you think you are there's no way you can beat all of us yourself!" The man in a black and gold trimmed haori yelled.

"So that's where I ended up, I thought so but wasn't fully sure. Thanks for the info." Ophis said to the man completely unbothered by his statement. She was fully sure she could totally beat all of them however, she wasn't planning to fight them in the first place.

Suddenly she began to feel the spear in her hand begin to shake as if trying to jump out of her grip, though it made no progress.

The man held his hand out as if commanding the spear back to himself but to no avail.

"I'll be keeping this for now, you attacked me with it after all. Finders keepers~" Her teasing made the God go beet-red but he knew he was outmatched and could do nothing.

He had put his everything into his initial strike, he'd poured most of his divine energy and activated his full authority over travelers, which made it so all things are guaranteed to reach its destination, and even that did nothing.

He had only attacked her in the first place because he'd done a preemptive strike before she'd left the portal so he couldn't tell how strong she was just yet.

The gods with him were but mere divine spirits get to even form an authority, they could do nothing to support him in combat except maybe be a distraction.

Especially against the entity they stood against, it didn't even attempt to hide its energy or aura. Even though he talked a big game, the energy he could feel from her eclipse anything he's ever felt before, and he's even been in the presence of their creator gods Izanami and Izanagi.

He didn't wish to be sent to Yomi just yet, so he decided to swallow his pride. Slicking back his disheveled black hair he prepared his mind.

"What brings someone like you to Takamagahara, we have done nothing to upset someone like you, or anyone for that matter." He asked trying to get some information.

"Nothing in particular, I actually ended up here randomly." She responded easily

'Nothing in particular?!! Simply by chance!??' His golden eyes widened 'Is this what it means to be on that level? No care for where you are or who you disturb!?'

"But now that I'm here… I think I want to see what Amaterasu looks like" thinking about it Ophis realized that Amaterasu was never once shown in all of DxD, same thing with the entire Shinto faction in general. Throughout the entire series it seemed as if they just slept through everything.

'!??'

"What? You wish to see lady Amaterasu?"

Nodding, Ophis continued "Think about, when was the last time you Shinto Gods showed your faces to the supernatural world? Especially someone like her. It's extremely hard to get a proper description of Susanoo let alone Amaterasu herself."

Thinking about it, he realized that she was right, it's been hundreds of years since they were allowed to go outside whenever they wanted. The only Gods allowed out were either divine spirits trying to formulate an earth based authority or earth and field Gods going to bless the lands, and even those are only out during certain times.

He had no idea why either. He was neither high enough rank or friends with anyone in the know, they all simply received the order and didn't disobey. Everyone seemed to just go along with it, he himself had never truly questioned it.

Why were they hiding away? Why are they simply staying here? They still held Japan, no one dared to invade. So why? It didn't make sense.

"And you aren't planning to start a fight are you?" He asked just to make sure.

"Of course not, I have no reason to." Ophis answered simply.

Sighing he rubbed his temple and said "Okay, I'll be your guide."

"Oh? And why would you do that?" She asked curiously, though she had her own guesses.

"Don't get me wrong, I doubt you need it. I'd rather simply lead you there than for some other Gods to start a fight they can't win." The God answered.

Nodding at his logic she asked "And what is your name my guide?"

"My name is Bōsojin, God of villages, roads, travel and travelers. And what is yours?"

"You may call me Ophis."

'Not a name I know, but a name I feel like I should know.'

____

Takamagahara is basically a continent surrounded by literally nothing, just floating on its own on what appeared to be a cloud.

Currently, Ophis and Bōsojin have just entered the central City of Takamagahara where the high ranking Gods of the Shinto faction reside. With the use of Bōsojins divine authority over travel/travelers they were able to reach the city from half way across the continent in only 30 minutes.

And immediately as they got there they were met with a group of armored guards.

"Please follow us to the palace, Lady Amaterasu has been waiting for you." One guard said, swiftly turning and beginning his stride the other guards marching alongside him.

Looking at each other Ophis and Bōsojin raised their eyebrows at one another, rather confused at the spectacle.

Following behind the guards they soon reached the palace. It was what one would expect from a Japanese palace, grand angular designs looking as though it were several mansions stacked on top of each other, Its colors a bright red, white, and gold. It held cherry blossom trees and ponds across its courtyard creating a beating and peaceful atmosphere.

In Ophis's opinion it was "Quite nice"

Being led inside they were met another beautiful view, decorated walls, silk curtains that gave the place a mystical vibe, paintings across the walls telling stories of their own.

In Ophis's opinion it was "Very epic"

And finally they reached the throne room of the palace, it was decorated much the same as the outside walls, something specific Ophis noticed however was that the paintings on the walls told the story of Okami the white wolf, not the entire thing and many of the details were changed to fit this world but the design of the world was much the same. After leading them inside the guards in one motion turned, walked out and closed the doors.

'If I remember right, doesn't that wolf scale to like galaxy level because of one specific thing about her spinning a galaxy?'

"So you've arrived Ouroboros, I've been waiting." The voice of a woman said.

The voice came from the throne, and like other areas the throne was covered on all side by a red half see through vail.

"You know of me? I haven't been active for long" last Ophis checked, she was asleep for 4 billion years so how does anyone know her?

"I do not know much, it's simply that my mother and father warned me of your existence in the dimensional gap. They claimed you to be the counterpart to the dream, the infinite." The voice assumed to be Amaterasu said

"Interesting, I assume you're Amaterasu then right? And if you've been waiting for me I assume you know why I'm here?" The Infinite asked the Sun Goddess.

"Yes, I am. And of course I know why you're here, word travels fast in Takamagahara, especially to me." Amaterasu said the vails surrounding the throne slowly separating to reveal it.

"Excuse me lady Amaterasu." Bōsojin interrupted "I don't mean to interrupt but why was I brought along?"

The vail fully furled revealing a dazzling golden throne where Amaterasu sat, she wore a red and white and gold ceremonial kimono, along its front laid gold ornaments. Behind her head floated a golden sun like Ornament, at the front of her hair laid a golden crown like ornament with glass orb sparkling with dim but radiant starlight at its center. Around her neck laid a necklace lined with green and black magatamas and at the center of the necklace there was a small mirror like object.

Her hair a vibrant glossy black, it flowed along her back all the way down to her thighs.

"You were brought along because your interaction with her broke the spell." Amaterasu said her eyes drifting from Ophis to him.

"What? What spell?" He asked concerned

'Oh? What's this now?" Ophis thought curiously.

"The spell to stop the medium and lower ranking Gods from questioning why we've been locked away here." Her words wrong through his head like a Gong bell.

But before he could even open words out she continued

"I know what you're going to ask, why? how come nobody noticed? Was it necessary? And probably some other ones."

He nodded quickly, wanting to know, beyond anything else he wished to know. Why?

"Its not difficult to explain, it is simply the fact that there are too many of us." Amaterasu's words came out like a sigh, a completely tired sigh.

"Too many? How come?" He asked in return

"How many Gods do you think exist in the Greek pantheon?" The Sun Goddess asked

"If I remember right it's around a hundred or so." He answered

"What about the Norse?"

"Around 50 I think"

"What about the hindu?"

"Also somewhere around 50."

"Now what about us?" Amaterasu sunk into her seat, this explanation clearly churning her mood.

"I don't know the exact number but around a milli-"

"9 Million, and it's still increasing"

"???"

'What in the world…' Ophis thought 'what could you ever need that many Gods for.'

"The planet cannot handle this many Gods, most may just be divine spirits barely passable as Gods, however they still contribute to the Worlds "scale"." Amaterasu explained slowly to hammer it in.

"Our planet is scaled by two primary forces, Dragons, and Gods. Those two forces represent this worlds "Existence" and allows for its continued consciousness and stability. But because of us, the Shinto faction, the scales balance is skewed towards the Gods. Not only is Japans leylines not able to handle all of us at once, if something wasn't done then it would spell doom for the entire planet."

"…But how did this happen in the first place? There's no way that many Gods are giving birth, the birth rates of Gods are too slow for that." Bōsojin asked, his face a mess of emotions.

"Indeed, but why do you think birth rates of Gods are low?" The Goddess asked

"Because our bodies function differently from mortal ones, we are mostly spiritual life forms but also made up of flesh and blood."

He answered clearly educated on the subject. At least he believed he was.

"Partially correct, indeed our bodies function differently but that is not all. It's our souls, babies are born with not only recycled souls from the world but also newly created soul. These newly created souls are formed from small pieces of both of the parents souls. Stronger souls, especially Godly souls, are much stronger and are very resistant to such things, that's why you may have noticed that weaker Gods and Goddesses give birth far more than powerful ones." Her answered came quickly

"But how does this relate? Doesn't that prove that it shouldn't be a birth rates issue?"

"It's pertinent, let me explain simply. It's all because Mother and father, Izanami and Izanagi. It's because of how they created our soul cycle system, they made it so that human souls who are worthy may be blessed to become nascent divine spirits. And one after another these nascent divine spirits eventually became true divine spirits and some even true Gods. At first this cycle was fine, but then the problem arose, there started to simply be too many of us. These divine spirits while they are technically Gods, they still retain a mostly human soul making birth much easier for them."

"So there lies the problem huh…" Ophis thought out loud

"One might think the soul cycle system could simply be changed, and while yes it theoretically could be it would require tearing Japan apart, extreme destruction of leylines, and excruciating pain to the planets consciousness.

So instead of that, a compromise was made. With the help of the World the Gods and divine spirits of the Shinto faction would permanently move to Takamagahara, it would be disconnected and sealed away from the worlds "Scale" restoring balance with only a few being allowed out, and even that only fit a short time." Every time she spoke it was like a hammer slamming into a nail, giving no hope to the poor travel God.

'So that's the story huh, wasn't expecting this in the slightest.' Listening to the story Ophis couldn't help but feel a little bad. "How unfortunate."

Bōsojin on the other hand looked distraught

"I have just one more question. Why didn't you just reapply the spell? This is obviously supposed to be a secret so why tell me now?" He asked

"That much is simple, once the spell is broken it's very hard for it to be reapplied without erasing memories. The purpose of the spell is to prevent you from questioning the situation, if the mind remembers questioning then it will cause a chain reaction of questioning that would break the spell. As you know erasing memories of Gods is extremely hard as it is similar to trying to erase their very being, as a Gods memories and experiences make up their existence. It's better to inform those who are released from the spell rather than have them potentially spread it" Her explanation was quick and hammering.

Letting out a sigh, Bōsojin flopped to the floor "Excuse me, I just need a moment"

"Take as much time as you need, I understand the weight of this knowledge." Amaterasu said, her voice filled with sincere empathy.

Ophis during this time had been thinking, perhaps there was a solution to this whole thing?

"What if the dragon population increased? It would even out the scales without having to sacrifice anything." Ophis theorized

Amaterasu shook her head "We've thought of that too but that's simply a temporary solution, there's no way for the dragon population to keep up with ours."

Indeed, they've been brainstorming solutions for years now and that was one of the first. If the issue was balance then just increasing the dragon population alongside the God population should work right? Not exactly.

Firstly, with the soul system created by Izanami and Izanagi the amount of divine spirits coming into existence and being birthed at the same time, with how the dragons function right now, it could never keep up, even if the world forced itself to produce dragon energy so more dragons could spawn.

"Well there's nuance to that isn't there? Like how for Gods it goes beyond your bodily structure, for dragons it goes beyond those things too, it's also their living circumstances." Ophis explained

"Dragons live mostly solitary lives and while some have formed clans in recent years, most still live with maybe one or two others. Not only this, dragons are one of the few supernatural creatures that have no realm of their own. They simply existence across different mythologies, and with the increase in politics in the supernatural world it's become harder for them to just do whatever they want, decreasing the chances they even find mates."

Ophis's word dinged through Amaterasu's head, it made sense.

Amaterasu's face scrunched slightly, thinking deeply.

'Seriously? I was kinda just talking out my ass' Yes, Ophis was mainly just going based on her assumptions and guesses and some basic stuff she remembered from the plot.

Clearing her throat she continued

"Ehem, so here's the idea. A realm could be made for the dragons to reside, where they can mingle freely. Away from politics that they so hate, and eventually the population of dragon will begin to rise. It wouldn't fully solve the problem, but once the dragon population begins to rise it would make it so more than just a few of you can leave at once." She finished her explanation waiting for Amaterasu's input.

"Not a bad idea, but who would make the realm? The World used much of its resources on us, if you haven't noticed, this isn't the only layer of Takamagahara. There are 6 additional layers, this one being the central one. Also how would they catch up? The birth rate is much too fast and is ever so slowly getting faster." Amaterasu questioned

"To the first question, Great Red and I can make the realm, I'm sure he'll accept since it'll be a help to the world. To the second, for a few years you'd have to find away to limit child birth, perhaps a restriction of some kind, maybe gather all the fertility Gods and have them stop it."

"Getting the fertility Gods to accept that will be quite difficult… it's a part of their very existence after all." Amaterasu sighed, she had already tried once to get them to restrict birth but they had all come to the conclusion that it was meaningless and wouldn't change anything, they'd still have to remain in Takamagahara anyway. So even though they respected her as their ruler they refused.

Shrugging Ophis said "Simply give them an ultimatum, either do it or be stuck here until they eventually die for some reason or another. This is one of if not the only chance you guys have, so it's either stay here or have the chance to see the real Sun again, feel the real wind again, be a part of the world again."

"Very well, I'll see what I can do." The Goddess said.

Crouching down Ophis patted the still slumped down Bōsojin on the back, laying his spear that she was still carrying on the floor next to him. He seemed to have regain some hope after hearing their conversation.

"Since I've gotten what I wanted from here, I guess I'll be taking my leave. You are even better than what I expected" Ophis said looking over Amaterasu's form.

"Thank you."

"I'll come back to tell you when everything has been prepared Amaterasu. And see you another time Bōsojin"

Amaterasu nodded in understanding.

"Yeah, another time" His tone was hoarse but hopeful.

With the same motion as before Ophis tore a rip in space and walked through.

____

Stepping through the space rift Ophis was met with a lush green forest.

"Where am now? Doesn't seem anywhere supernatural." Nothing with more than normal amounts of mana was around.

'I guess I can finally do what I intended in the first place.' That whole situation with Amaterasu was definitely unexpected, she'd thought she would've been in and out but nope.

"A tree should work fine."

Raising a open hand she focused her power on the tree and began to close her hand, commanding the space to fold.

Space warped and twisted and for a few moments cracked. It's "form" twisted churned, it shimmered and bent forming a radiant glow, and ever so slowly it began to fold.

Before her eyes Ophis watched as space folded in on itself as if it were paper, the tree at its center seemed to remain the same until.

*Pop

The tree at the center of the phenomenon popped out of existence. No, more like it was folded out if existence, the popping sound was simply from the space snapping back into place.

"…Yeah I have no idea what just happened. System can I get another hint." With absolutely no shame she asked the system for help.

{You commanded space directly rather than the Space the object takes up. Commanding space directly affects the "World" itself which ignores and directly removes all physical laws and certain conceptual laws. By folding the "Worlds" space you are directly folding existence itself, that's why it appeared nothing happened to the tree. Because once you starting folding, the tree no longer existed as existence itself was no longer "there".}

"Okay thanks, I think I got it"

Focusing once more she attempted it again on another tree.

This time however space did not crack apart, it wobbled and churned then began to pull inward and so too did the tree. It appeared to shrink while also remaining the same in every other aspect. It went from a large 4.5meters(15 feet) to less that half that size at 1.5meters(5 feet).

"Success!" Ophis said happily "Now just Chaos left to test, I'll do some finishing testing with space then I'll do that."

Nodding to corroborate he words she continued testing her space manipulation. Since she was planning to make that dimension it's better to do this now. She's already practiced with Infinity and time, now she's doing space before she really only used it for teleportation. All she had left was Chaos then learning Nothingness.

For the next couple hours Ophis practiced with applying different sorts of ways of using space. From expanding, creating, pulling, pushing, cracking, rending, cutting, twisting, and more.

Though she ran into several issues along the way. Because of course pulling space towards you would end up with hundreds of trees flying towards one's face.

Who would've thought twisting space would end up with trees and other flora and fauna fusing together to form a chimeric amalgamation?

Who would've thought rending space would open a portal to another dimension of nothing but fire that leaked into the world, starting a forest fire?

Not Ophis of course.

From the sky Ophis looked down at the destruction, hundreds of trees lay thrown across the dirt, a large section of the forest covered in ash and dust from her putting out the fires, and the….Amalgamations she couldn't bring herself to kill.

Scratching her head she wondered "Should I do a localized time reversal? This looks pretty bad…" her eyes tried their best to avoid "it" but every time it crossed into her sight she couldn't help but shiver.

Then suddenly her system said.

{Think about it, this is a pretty good situation to use Chaos.}

Well, she was in fact think about that but she had wanted to test it on a person rather than just plants and animals.

"I really wanted my first time to be returning someone's attack to zero, but yeah this is an opportunity to use it." Letting out a slight sigh of disappointment Ophis let her power spread across the area.

Calling Chaos forth her mind was instantly bombarded with possibilities. Many of them being normal outcomes, the forest slowly regrowing and returning to normal, grass growing over the area creating a field.

But just as many were disastrous, the rip in space to the fire dimension reopening, burning the entire forest and spreading to civilization causing a true calamity.

Then there was the one that Ophis instantly deleted from ever coming to fruition, the amalgamation stayed alive spreading its roots and seeds, and eventually took over the entire forest.

Not wanting to complicate things Ophis pulled on the simple outcome of the Amalgamation dying due to not having proper nutrients and the forest regrowing.

Focusing on this choice, she activated her power, forcing the "effect" to happen.

The world froze, the world went a desolate grayscale as if all color had been erased. Everything warped and twisted much like a hallucination under the desert sun, then suddenly.

*Snap!

The world snapped back into place, color returned to the world as if nothing had ever happened. Below her Ophis saw that the forest had returned to normal, almost the same as before she had gotten here. She had forced the "effect" to happen directly, projecting the outcome without the "cause" having to take place first.

Stretching the Ouroboros let out a sigh.

"This has been quite the day."

______

Yo, how's everyone doing? And what do you guys think of this one? I wanted to give the Shinto faction some light as I've seen like 3 fanfics that's actually use them beyond just Amaterasu and Susanoo. But as anyone who's read my stuff by now knows that I like making stuff that's supposed to be random truly random so her ending up in Taka was completely by chance, I made a wheel with 9 other options and it was simply the one she landed on. At first I intended for her to just look around then leave, then some ideas struck me and this came out of it.

Also to anyone who knows Japanese myth did you know there are Gods above Izanagi and Izanami? Apparently they are just the Gods who stabilized the world not make it, but for the DxD world I'm just going to make Izanami and Izanagi the creator gods in the Shinto Mythos(I don't want to do extra work)

It took me a solid 2 hours of scrolling through Pinterest and other sites to come up with some inspiration, after being fed up with not finding anything decent that wasn't just Techwear or stuff impossible for me to describe I just gave up and came up with that.

I wanted something that would fit the style I imagine she would have before reincarnation but also fit with the vibe of her current body. And NOBODY can tell me to just use Ophis's canon outfits, those things are horrendous at worst. The only good one is the one with her in the black shirt and skirt with the pink jacket.
