Chapter 32 - Chapter 032: Eruption — Nami Unleashed! Lightning Arrow Hell and Massacre!

With the thunderous detonation of Buggy's cannon, screams filled Arlong Park.

At the same moment, the dark mass of storm clouds overhead spread at a speed visible to the naked eye. Lightning gathered so densely within them that the entire sky above Arlong Park became a roiling sea of electricity.

And at the center of those clouds, a pair of enormous, human-like eyes trembled with strain and fury.

It was the thundercloud itself—Nami, the Cat Burglar, who had transformed into this living storm.

She clenched her teeth, pupils shaking from the effort. She had already pushed her limits.

But—

"This still isn't enough… I can't kill Arlong like this!"

Unwilling to admit defeat, Nami frantically absorbed the surrounding white clouds, expanding her "body" again and again.

In moments, several miles of sky turned pitch black. The sudden darkness even made the fleeing fish-men stop dead in their tracks.

"W–What is that?!"

"Damn it… is this a natural disaster!?"

"Stop joking—lightning that big will kill us!"

Crackling arcs of blue and white crawled through the sky, each one radiating pure destruction. Even those towering fish-men froze, dread flooding their chests.

While fighting Zoro and the others, an unsettling thought crossed all their minds:

"Hey, hey, hey… is the captain's wife planning to blow us up too?" Zoro growled around his sword, face turning green as he stared at the sky.

Buggy's mouth twitched violently. "She's trying to kill us all! Fall back!!!"

In just a few seconds, both of their crews retreated outside the park walls. Staring through the gate at the panicked fish-men inside, they held their ground—keeping the enemy trapped while dodging the incoming lightning.

Cruel beyond belief.

"Boss Arlong… what do we do?" Hachi stammered, six swords trembling in his hands.

Arlong scowled from his throne, though fear flickered in his eyes as he stared at the black sky.

"Quit panicking! A little lightning like that can't kill powerful fish-men! Hold your ground!"

His words sounded steadfast, but watching the storm press lower and lower, even he felt a chill crawl down his spine.

"Why the hell is it so close…? Aren't clouds supposed to stay in the sky?"

"Almost… there!"

Two hundred meters above, Nami's cloud-form clenched her teeth so hard they nearly cracked. She was at her limit.

But when she sensed the monstrous storm she'd created, she couldn't help but grin.

"Even if it can't kill Arlong or his officers… it'll wipe out every other fish-man here!"

Her eyes narrowed with a rare, deadly glint.

With a furious roar, she hurled the condensed lightning downward.

"Lightning Arrow Hell!!!"

BOOM!

CRACK—CRACK—CRACK!

The blackened sky split open as countless bolts of lightning rained down like a divine execution.

Arlong's crew stared upward, faces twisting in terror.

"What!?"

"No way!"

"What IS that!?"

"Get in the water! Dive deep—lightning can't reach us underwater!"

"It's too late!!!"

Screams tore through the park.

Buildings collapsed instantly. Every structure was shredded into rubble by the relentless storm.

Most fish-men didn't even have time to react before they were crushed beneath the debris, lifeless in an instant.

Those who jumped into the water too late were electrocuted before they could sink—bodies floating to the surface like dead fish.

Within seconds, the Arlong Pirates were annihilated.

Only Arlong and his three top officers remained, stunned into silence.

"Wh–What… what just happened?" Hachi's voice cracked.

Arlong finally snapped out of it, shock turning to fury. "Damn it!!! Who did this!?"

He was certain this was no natural phenomenon. The lightning avoided Zoro's group completely—it had targeted them specifically.

Watching his painstakingly built "Fish-Man Paradise" reduced to scorched ruins, Arlong felt something inside him break.

"Into the water! Go!"

The enemy was hidden while he stood exposed. No matter how furious he was, survival came first. Thankfully, the pool led straight to the ocean—an escape route still remained.

The moment they dove in—

"Welcome, little dragon~"

Usopp, wearing a diving suit and flanked by Mohji and the others, grinned.

"Boys, tell me—what's the one smell fish hate the most?"

"Haha—bug spray and paint!"

"Exactly. So what are we waiting for? Load up—blast them!"

SPLASH! SPLASH! SPLASH!

Bottles of paint and insecticide exploded underwater, instantly turning the entire pool into a toxic soup.

"Urgh—YOU BASTARDS!!!"

Arlong's officers panicked and were forced back to shore. Even Arlong himself tried to push through, only to take an exploding gas pellet straight to the face.

"You braaat!!!" he roared.

Before he could retaliate, Mohji and Cabaji grabbed him by the arms and heaved him right back onto land.

This was bullying. Pure bullying.

Meanwhile, in the village—

The explosions from Arlong Park had drawn most of the villagers out. They thought the Marines had finally come to liberate them.

Gripping makeshift weapons, they followed Genzo with fierce determination.

But as they neared the park, they froze. Zoro and the others were locked in combat with Arlong's officers—none of them looked anything like Marines. In fact, they looked even more dangerous than the fish-men.

Then the massive thundercloud above slowly shrank and transformed into a human figure.

The villagers gaped, shivering as lightning flickered around the descending silhouette.

A divine figure?

Someone finally recognized her.

"Look… isn't that Nami!?"

"It is her! How did she do that!? Incredible!"

"Wait—was that lightning earlier all Nami's doing!?"

"Nami, well done! Kill every last one of them!"
