Waking up early in the morning, Adam sat up in the air—literally, he sleeps laying on the air—with a yawn as the sun started rising, he could spot Lily and Sam were not too far behind.

He looked down to his side in a sleeping bag, was Eve, drooling in her sleep with a bed hair to end all bed hair, what was causing him to have his eye twitching was the fact that she was the first to fall asleep, and it didn't seem like she was going to be waking up anytime soon.

"Eve…," he started as he landed on the floor on his ass, and started shaking his would be mate, "Wake up. wake up. wake up-."

Eve only snored louder in response, even as he shook her harder back and forth, as her swayed wildly.

He than started lightly clapping her cheeks, not enough to even redden, but should speed up her awakening.

Her eyes squinted, she murmured in her sleep as she groaned from the motion and love taps.

Good, without actually hurting her—which is something he refuses to do at all costs—she should be awake in half an hour, by the time the other two manages to get the fire going.

For whatever reason, Eve was the fucking deepest sleeper Adam has EVER known, be it here or in his past life (or ever).

————————————————————

The four travel across the vastness that is the jungle, traversing the rough terrain made up of massive tree roots and uneven ground.

It also occurred to the First Man as the the four of them traveled in a relatively single file line, that the vegetation were actually so much more massive than he recalled anything being on earth.

He was at minimum two and a half time taller than most humans back home, and Team Eden were currently walking through flowers and bushes that were dwarfing all of them combined.

Lucifer and him would often take turns looking from the bird's eye view in the sky to make sure we knew where we were going and no in circles, as well as go anything was coming.

Thankfully, everyone here was already superhuman, so physically everyone was bodily prepared with our bodies automatically being at their peak prime to travel through anywhere.

Looking from high above with his flight, Adam saw once again just how far the forest stretches, seeing the miles of seas of trees.

Their Target? The mountain range a distance away, about 83 miles away—thank you Mystic Eyes of Depth Perception—Still quite a ways away, but they had a lot more time considering its noon about to be lunch.

He turned around to glide his way down, taking note of the various animals be it the birds, and dinosaurs like the pterosaurs and the long necks in the distance.

Flying his way back down, Eve smiled up at him, Lilith and Samael not too far behind her in the trail, "Adam, anything new?" A routine question.

Landing on his feet, Adam yawned from the leftover sleep, "Nothing immediately to be worried about, still quite a bit of walking to do, be it tonight or tomorrow, we should be there soon."

"Besides the danger," Lilith called out as she continued drawing the map she was slowly making, "Seen anything worth mentioning?"

"Not in particular," he shrugged, in a lax manner, "a few long necks, reptilian pointy-headed bats, and I believe I spotted something with three horns poking around somewhere."

Lilith immediately looked interested in the last one, a hungry loon for someone who just heard something new and interesting.

Adam supposes they will be taking a detour, not that he minded getting to see a legitimate Triceratops, Eve quietly giggled at Lilith.

Samael, finally came out of the back of the group from the bushes, gasping, "Ah my legs! They are killing me!" Said the seraphim, as the three of us either eye rolled, deadpanned, or smiled in amusement.

Adam being the one that deadpanned, sighed exasperated, "I guess we can start making lunch if everyone is up for stopping now," it was a bit early, but since we haven't seen a angel search party for a while now he was a bit wary.

He really focused in on the air around them, to feel it to the best of his abilities of their surroundings…which was a lot harder now.

To sense vibrations in the air with Airbending, not only a high enough mastery is required for any significant distance…but it requires exposed skin.

In Eden, with the only parts of him not exposed to the regulated elements being his head covered by his hair, he could sense things miles away pretty well.

The problem is out here he needed to wear actual clothing for protections for both the hot and cold weather, alongside the various bugs that tried to crawl on them.

It was mostly the latter for Adam, the cold and the heat he could perfectly fend off after several days he figured out the breathing trick that utilized Airbending.

So as one can understand…with only his hands and face exposed, his air vibration sense has been massively nerfed.

Lilith hummed as she turned away to her leaf book, staring right at a beautifully feathered lizard that she sketched out earlier, "I suppose we could, considering you have seen it from a distance Adam, the mysterious horned beast must eat most of the time with little travel."

Not exactly a dinosaur expert, but the logic sounded good well and grounded, "alright then, then me and Eve will be off to go find some herbs and spices."

Samael and Lilith started prepping a impromptu camp as Adam started heading into a deeper and thicker section of the jungle, with Eve happily skipped behind him, busy taking in the sight.

It was…a little strange how the plants either made it very easy to move all of their parts to the side or outright moved themselves out of the way.

He couldn't even blame it on Nature's Chosen, as he witnessed similar effects occur to Eve and Lilith, though he has yet to see anything like that occur to Samael yet.

Though it was as he said to a far limited ways, the animals were not as skittish as the ones form earth were, even if they not as friendly as the ones in Eden.

The flowers and fruits seem to brighten just a tad bit more than it was a moment ago before they grabbed it.

For him? While it was easy to move the vines and bushes out of the way, the way they lingered in his grasp as he pushed them away, as if they longed to be held by him.

The way he felt he could go for a snack and a nearby fruit tree of a kind he didn't recognize, literally bent its branches to deliver one of its fruits from above to his grasp.

It was clear to the others, while the world to an extent realized something was special about them—probably becuase they were from Eden—it seemed to favor Adam the most out of all of them.

Funnily enough, Lilith didn't seem to give a shit as she shrugged and climbed up a tree to look over the world…

All the while the other two were with starry eyes grabbing a bunch of leaves and plants and watching in amazement as it stuck to him as if it was hugging him tight.

Now walked through the jungle floor, his eyes scanning for ingredients to harvest, letting his instincts and traits guide him as to where.

…Stopping, he and Eve found a whole bushes of berries, of various colors and type, Adam narrowed his eyes as he hummed.

He walked up to the bushes before squatting down, picked a red berry with between his fingers as Eve watch over his shoulder.

Breaking a little bit open, he let a little bit of its juice into his tongue, closing his eyes, as he let his taste buds, Nakiri do its work.

"Sooo…?" Eve started, tilting her head cutely with a smile, "Is it bitter or sweet?" Asking after seeing this same process occur over a dozen times.

Adam spit at the floor, grunted a little in annoyance, "Bitter, ignore those ones," After training his tongue for quite some time, he managed to get to a certain, interesting, point with it.

He could taste if unfamiliar plants are either nutritious (sweet), poisonous (bitter), or esoteric…the last one could literally range from mint to pepper.

The food quality has been an awful thing to experience for Adam, and to a lesser extent his family.

They didn't need to deal with having what was called God's Tongue, he has been completely spoiled on the fact that everything in Eden was at its literal best.

Now he has to worry about food supplies, it's freshness and ripeness, what was poisonous or bland, what works and what doesn't…

On the other hand, ignoring the side of him that loved having access to the best of ingredients, he found himself loving the experience of experimenting with less than stellar ingredients, to improve himself with.

He was only grateful that he still had access to his abilities like Ripen, Bountiful Harvest, and Sapling, those three insured if they didn't have the luck of decent enough food, he could at the very least make a decent salad.

Looking through various berries of many type, he tried a little taste of one by one, until he came across a purple one that grew in clusters, that one unlike all others tasted sweet from three different spots.

"Eve, you mind starting collecting these while I go find the spices?" Setting down a collapsible basket from his big bag, that he folded up.

Eve raised an eyebrow, "And let me do all the work? Tch Tch You will owe me, Adam~," she teased him with a finger wave.

Adam retorted with a snort, "Woman, I am literally gonna be cooking your food here," throwing the bag back on his back.

Eve shrugged coyly, "So?" Looking a little away in the slightest bit of embarrassment as she clearly thought of what she wanted.

Adam blinked slowly, completely unphased by this exchanged, "Arought, what do you wan-"

"A MASAJ," she immediately, metaphorically, pounced at that very second, said it in a little strange way, but she had this excited, wanting look of it.

Adam hummed to himself as he crossed his arms and touched his chin, "Well I don't know…" though he already knew what he would be doing later.

Not that Eve knew that, as she looked at me with the first instance of Puppy-dog eyes, "pleaaaaaaaase…?".

Ehhh, why the hell not…all this weeks of walking must have done a number on all our of body, "Eh, alright, after we eat, I'll take a look at you with my hands."

Before suddenly finding myself getting a tight hug and a squealing excitement.

————————————————————

"Hello, I hope you are doing well today, you look wonderfully grown," Adam spoke to the plant he has identify to be Coriander, seeds on top as it had flowered already.

Having Sapling slotted as well as Nature's Chosen, he found…that he could literally talk to plants, to the point he could have a straight up conversation with them.

"…Oh? Why thank you…I can't say I have been given that strong of a compliment by a plant before…"

"…Yes, you see me and my family are preparing a meal to sustain ourselves and I was wondering that-…why yes indeed, you are a fine specimen that would enhance the taste-"

Adam blinked down the plant with a little confusion at the eagerness of the little herb, and wondered if it was a strange one or of it is somehow his fault for assuming a plant would have something of a instinct to survive at all cost,…maybe his ExpertCharisma.

"…Your saying as long as I plant your seed to various locations to grow strong you would be happy to help me?…well…if you are sure…thank you, herb…but before that, have you any gossip on the local bugs and animals? What is the area like?" Might as well have a final chat with the little guy.

Ding! Bronze Random Ticket! Convinced a plant to actually want to die for your dish in some form of honor.
