Regarding the intensity of the challenge Herta gave her, 'Ruan Mei' considered it and felt that Herta made a valid point.

Because, at its core,

using the power of the Two Paths (or "Pathways") is essentially leveraging Imaginary Energy. The secret of how Imaginary Energy is converted into the distinct characteristics of different Paths remains just that—a secret.

Although it is fraught with difficulty, there is no doubt that if a way could be found to directly utilize Imaginary Energy for this conversion, the problem would certainly be solved outright.

However, to put it plainly, this kind of endeavor is quite close to carving out a new Path itself. Its difficulty is unimaginable.

Yet, despite this, 'Ruan Mei' was drawn into the brainstorming session by Herta's sheer willfulness.

This was mainly because 'Ruan Mei' herself was also a little tempted.

But even the mind of a genius is not guaranteed to find the correct route in a single leap. Trial and error, adjusting the direction, verification, and then continued modification—these are steps that even a genius cannot avoid.

Fortunately, 'Ruan Mei' was not alone.

Two geniuses brainstormed for the same goal. Despite the constant trial and error, the ultimate plan was steadily constructed, piece by piece.

Furthermore,

under the intense brainstorming between Herta and 'Ruan Mei', while the most crucial problem remained unsolved, the stability issue concerning the Giant of Light was resolved by the two working in tandem.

Those restless Path powers were ultimately stabilized.

In a specially designated area within the laboratory, 'Ruan Mei' held the Evoltruster (Evolution Trust-er), gazing at the fifty-plus-meter-tall Giant of Light, which had not yet awakened its self-awareness.

The Evoltruster was something 'Ruan Mei' haphazardly threw together; it was just a shell, after all.

As for the Giant's appearance, it resembled the silver-bodied Nexus, with only touches of red adorning its chest and arms. Its physique was more akin to the sleek, almost inhuman, form of the Star of Light.

She had initially considered trying other forms,

but given that this was the first individual, 'Ruan Mei' wanted to preserve the pure, unadulterated feel of a prototype. Therefore, she still chose the silver-dominant image.

'Ruan Mei' held the Evoltruster, and a faint glow pulsed in her hand like a heartbeat.

Although she was only indirectly manipulating this self-awareness-less Giant, she could still feel the surging power within its body through it.

A vast amount of Imaginary Energy continuously poured into the Giant's body through the light.

Under 'Ruan Mei's' control, the Giant maneuvered and dodged flexibly in mid-air, performing all sorts of incredible, non-human aerial maneuvers.

Simultaneously, it continuously released various minor skills and beam techniques, allowing the machines nearby to record the data.

Under the joint effort of 'Ruan Mei' and Herta, a large number of different types of light-based and melee combat skills were recorded into its system.

The strongest beam techniques were basically calibrated to match the firepower of a standard fleet's main cannon.

Examples included the Ba-Ray II, which decomposes matter to the atomic level, the more classic Cation Cannon, and the Imaginary Disintegration Cannon, all designed to cope with different scenarios.

Following those were defensive abilities like the Position Shield (Force Field Shield), and skills specifically designed to counter such shields.

They certainly couldn't compare to the magnitude of an Aeon's Eminator (or 'Lord-Class' in fan terms).

However, the inherent advantage of the Giant of Light was not merely its destructive power.

In cosmic warfare, range, accuracy, and speed form an impossible triangle. That is, a single warship cannot simultaneously satisfy all three factors: long range, high accuracy, and high speed.

Of course, Eminators are the exception. This is one of the reasons why Eminators are taken seriously by major factions.

In any case, setting Eminators aside,

the Giant of Light

can be considered a 'Lesser Eminator' in a certain sense.

It can achieve a slightly smaller version of the Eminator's range, accuracy, and speed triangle. While matching the excellent output capabilities of a standard interstellar fleet, its speed and accuracy can simultaneously reach an excellent level.

This kind of individual is what 'Ruan Mei' desired.

"Ugh, it's a pity that at this point, it's difficult to push it any further. To reach Eminator-level energy output, we can only rely on your so-called Fusion," Herta said, looking at the massive Giant of Light with a mix of satisfaction and regret in her voice.

She truly could force the magnitude to the Eminator level, but the consequence would be instability, leading to a short lifespan.

"Oh, come on, if we were really mass-producing Eminators, the Equilibrium would actually come and kill us." 'Ruan Mei' couldn't help but criticize Herta's ambition.

The wild ideas of a genius can sometimes be truly terrifying.

The thought of mass-producing Eminators is something 'Ruan Mei' wouldn't dare to entertain.

Even if she and Herta could truly pull it off, the Equilibrium's vast hand would likely descend to give her an elbow strike. Even if the Equilibrium didn't move, if other forces caught wind of this, they'd probably unite to wage war on the 'Great Demon King'.

"Tsk, that's your problem; you're lacking in this department. But never mind, I quite like this work. I'll optimize my own puppets with this later."

"As an individual, I like it very much, too."

'Ruan Mei' controlled Nexus to land back on the ground, transforming back into light and returning to the Evoltruster.

"The next part is the key, though," she mused.

'Ruan Mei' then glanced at her status screen:

Character Roleplay System Name: Baiming (Ruan Mei) Lifespan: 100 Years (Paused) + 29 Days (Roleplay) Transformable Characters: Herta (Charge: 81.6%), Acheron (Charge: 48.5%), Star-Wailer (Charge: 6.3%), Ruan Mei (Roleplaying) Pull Attempts Remaining: 0 (40.2%)

In the span of a single day, the two of them had created the body of a competent Giant of Light.

As for the aspect of getting stronger through subjective will,

so many different Paths have already been incorporated into it. If the chosen person puts in the effort and can resonate with a certain Path, they will naturally become stronger.

Upon hearing 'Ruan Mei's' answer, Herta spoke:

"So, you are still inclined to borrow mystical power?"

"It's a fallback plan. At least you also think this path is viable, don't you?"

'Ruan Mei's' idea was to leverage the abilities of the Fictitious Historian.

First, artificially create a type of Light Seed that can self-replicate and spread, and then deploy it into the universe.

Second, artificially create a batch of Fictitious Historians, use the power of the Harmony to integrate them, surpassing the Eminator magnitude.

Then, execute a few 'lies'.

Finally, use the Memes to make a large number of people believe that 'the Miracle of Light is real'.

When enough people believe and offer a prayer, the Light Seed, relying on the power of Harmony, selects a qualified vessel, gathering the power of countless people's wishes together.

It rapidly completes its transformation and growth, thereby achieving the seemingly ethereal vision of a 'Miracle's Descent'.

Even the Fictitious Historian cannot directly make a falsified truth real across the entire universe. That feeling is something the Lost might be able to achieve.

But by taking a slight detour, and with the integration and cooperation of multiple powers, it can play a crucial role.

It would only require designing an excellent enough 'Light Seed' to spread along the Star Rail, perhaps even piercing through the blockades of the Stellaron.

Then, proactively take the lead in establishing a 'Land of Light' so that the Giants can band together, allowing this race to find a foothold in the universe.

This would be the completion of the project.

Regarding 'Ruan Mei's' plan, Herta had to admit that, at least in theory, it was realistically feasible.

"Hmm, I must admit your plan B is indeed viable, although I still want to define Imaginary Three and carve out a brand new Path."

"I'm not saying we won't do it. If we can truly achieve your idea, then we might actually create a god." 'Ruan Mei' said, smiling at Herta.
