After what went down last time, I wasn't going to let this slide—I nearly died because of that chaos.
My heart was still pounding when I jolted awake. "What's going viral now?"
"Everyone online is claiming you abandoned your husband and child, and even forced his mother to bow down to you," Elise's voice carried genuine concern.
Elise didn't buy any of it, but that video made everything seem completely believable.
"Send me that video," I said, ending the call immediately.
The video arrived within seconds.
As I watched, I could see someone had manipulated yesterday's footage of me collecting Serena, twisting it to paint me as the bad guy. Now it was exploding across every social platform.
The internet was absolutely seething with hatred, people tearing me apart left and right. On top of that, someone had resurrected that whole Lorelei situation and thrust it back into the spotlight.
