"Dad..." Sean gripped Evan's other hand, his big eyes full of pleas as well.
He really wanted to play a little longer; his aunt and grandma weren't around, so no one was there to accompany him to the theme park!
Looking at those equally innocent yet eager eyes, Evan sighed softly. "What do you want to play?"
"Ferris wheel!"
"Roller coaster."
Sean and Sparkle said in unison, then glanced at each other, sparks flying in the air, making the atmosphere quite tense.
With a hand on each, Evan led them towards the roller coaster.
"Evan, you're so bossy!"
"Dad, you're amazing!"
Sean and Sparkle spoke simultaneously, making faces at each other afterwards.
Evan chuckled and tossed them onto the roller coaster.
"Ah—" As the car started, a piercing scream instantly shattered the tranquility of the night sky. Sparkle gripped Evan's hand tightly and screamed frantically.
It was so terrifying!
