Syris nodded, his eyes dark with intent.
Ren didn't waste a second. She grabbed his wrist, her grip firm. She craned her neck, looking behind him to check for Kael and Viper.
"Come here," Ren whispered.
She pulled the Snake King behind a dense, tall bush that offered just enough cover from the main clearing.
The moment they were hidden, Ren reached for the sash of his tattered robe. She untied it with trembling fingers, letting the fabric fall open.
There they were.
Syris' "twin swords" stood proud and erect against his pale skin. Two distinct, formidable shafts, throbbing in unison.
Ren's breath caught in her throat. She reached out, gripping both of them, one in each hand. They were cool to the touch at first, but rapidly heating up under her palms.
"Hah..." Syris' breath hitched violently. He bucked his hips forward into her hands, unable to control the reflex.
