The forest went still.
Too still.
Pit skidded to a stop as the dragon halted beside the lake's edge. The air felt heavy, thick, like the world itself was holding its breath.
Then—
Eyes opened.
Dozens of them.
Red. Yellow. Glowing.
They appeared between trees, on branches, hanging upside down from vines, perched on rocks. Watching. Hungry.
Pit swallowed.
From the shadows, they stepped forward.
Small bodies. Rounded. Purple skin. Two pairs of wings—one large pair with clawed fingers, one smaller pair under them. Greenish-blue membranes shimmered as they spread their wings. No feet. Just hovering. Floating. Wrong.
Their ears were long and sharp. Their mouths locked in constant toothy grins. Their red eyes burned with hunger.
Pit whispered, "Oh… these are definitely not friendly."
Samus raised her arm cannon. "Hostiles confirmed."
Lucina lifted her sword. "Everyone ready."
Phosphora hovered higher. "Cute. Murder bats."
Fox cocked his blaster. "That's a new species. And I don't like it."
The water dragon let out a deep, warning chirp. Its fins flared. It slid partly onto shore, towering beside them like a guardian spirit.
The purple creatures hissed.
And then they attacked.
They swarmed forward in a screeching wave.
Pit's wings flared open. His bow snapped into sword form.
"Alright!" he shouted. "Let's save our friends!"
He shot into the air.
Lucina followed with a sharp leap, sword glowing.
Samus fired a beam that lit the forest blue.
Phosphora became a streak of lightning.
Fox and Falco's blasters filled the air with red streaks.
The dragon roared, water surging from the lake in a crashing wave that swallowed half the swarm.
And deep in the distance, past the battle and beyond the smoke—
Captain Falcon's crashed ship waited.
Unknown planet.
Unknown enemy.
And this was only the welcome party.
Pit barely twisted aside as a blade of compressed air screamed past him.
SHHHRAK!
A boulder behind him split into neat, clean slices. It crumbled into chunks like it had been diced by an invisible sword.
Pit's eyes went wide.
"…Okay, note to self. Do not get hit by that."
More of the purple creatures beat their wings. Each flap launched cutting gusts—razor-thin crescents of air that carved through trees and stone alike.
Lucina slid into a guard stance, sword raised.
"Did they just use Aerial Ace?!" she shouted.
Samus glanced sideways mid-dodge. "What?"
Lucina deflected another slicing gust, sparks bursting from her blade.
"It's a Pokémon move! Red's Staraptor used it in training a few days ago!"
Fox rolled behind a tree that immediately got cleaved in half above him.
"Great," he muttered. "Flying murder bats using Pokémon techniques. Perfect."
Phosphora zipped overhead, electricity cracking around her.
"Ohhh, so they're copycats," she said. "Cute. Let's see if they copy this."
She fired a lightning bolt that blasted three of the creatures out of the sky. They dissolved into dark smoke when they hit the ground.
Samus locked onto a cluster and fired a charged beam.
"Pit! Focus on the center swarm! Break their formation!"
Pit nodded, already moving.
He rose into the air, bow shifting into its twin-blade form.
He spun, wings slicing the air, deflecting incoming wind blades with sharp metallic clangs.
'These things are fast,' he thought. 'But they're predictable.'
Another wave of Aerial Ace gusts came.
Pit smirked.
"Thunder Strike!"
He fired an arrow straight upward. Lightning detonated across the sky, chaining through the swarm. Screeches filled the air as several creatures dropped, fading into ash before touching ground.
Lucina leapt onto the back of the water dragon, using its height to launch herself forward.
"Crit Burst!"
Her blade flashed once—twice—three times. Clean. Precise. Each strike split a creature before it could even scream.
Samus glanced over, impressed.
"She really doesn't waste movement."
Fox reloaded.
"Yeah. I'm starting to see why she scares half the house."
The remaining creatures hissed louder.
Their eyes glowed brighter.
And then—
The ground trembled.
From the treeline, something bigger stepped forward.
Much bigger.
The same purple body. Same wings. Same grin.
But this one towered above the rest. Its wings stretched wide enough to blot out the moonlight. Its breath came out as slicing wind that whistled across the lake.
Pit hovered midair, suddenly aware of one thing:
This had been the scouting party.
Lucina tightened her grip.
Samus raised her cannon.
Phosphora cracked her knuckles, electricity dancing.
Fox muttered, "Boss battle. Called it."
The giant creature opened its mouth.
And screamed.
Pit saw the giant creature inhale.
The wind shifted.
The whistle of cutting air grew sharp enough to sting skin.
Pit didn't think.
He raised his bow.
"Come out."
A golden magic circle exploded across the ground. Symbols burned bright. Light poured upward like a fountain.
And from it—
Twinbellows erupted.
Two massive canine heads, bodies wreathed in sacred fire, claws digging into the earth. Their roars shook the trees. Flames curled from their maws, lighting the dark forest in gold and crimson.
Lucina stared.
"…That," she said quietly, "is definitely not a Pokémon move."
Samus lowered her cannon a fraction.
"…Angel summons. Right. I'm not even going to question it."
The giant purple beast screeched and unleashed a hurricane blade.
Twinbellows lunged forward.
Fire met wind.
The collision split the air like a thunderclap. Trees bent away from the shockwave. The lake behind them rippled like it had been struck by a hammer.
Pit hovered above, eyes sharp.
'Okay. Big one's busy. That means…'
The smaller creatures regrouped, circling.
Phosphora zipped up beside him.
"Want me to handle crowd control?"
Pit grinned.
"Please do."
Lightning exploded from her body in a spinning halo. The smaller creatures shrieked as arcs of electricity chained between them, dropping half the swarm instantly.
Fox whistled.
"Remind me not to tease the lightning lady."
Meanwhile, Lucina charged again, riding the water dragon's back like a knight of old. She leapt, blade shining.
"Pit! Opening!"
Pit nodded.
He fired three arrows in rapid succession. Each arrow split into five in midair.
The arrows pinned the giant creature's wings to the ground, anchoring it just long enough.
Lucina descended.
"CRIT BURST!"
Her sword struck dead center.
The giant creature screamed—and burst into dark smoke, fading into nothing.
Silence returned.
The remaining smaller creatures froze… then dissolved, as if their leader's defeat erased them.
Twinbellows growled once, then sank back into the magic circle, returning to Pit's command seal.
The water dragon chirped happily, splashing back into the lake like nothing happened.
Pit landed lightly on the shore.
Phosphora stretched.
"Well. That was fun."
Samus looked at Pit, then at where Twinbellows vanished.
"…You just summoned a hellhound made of holy fire."
Pit scratched his head.
"Oh. Yeah. I guess that's weird here."
Lucina shook her head, a smile tugging at her lips.
"No, Pit. That was awesome."
Fox glanced toward the forest.
"Alright. If flying murder bats were guarding this area, our friends are definitely nearby."
Pit looked toward the horizon.
Wings rustled.
"Then let's go find them."
And somewhere deep in the trees…
Something else watched.
Eyes.
Many eyes.
Link looked at the Giant Purple Bat, he had a hunch, as he pulled out a Pokèball that Red gave him.
He threw at Pit, and as he was confused, he gestured at Bat.
Pit tapped the Ball into the bat, as it got absorbed in the red light then.
Click.
Pit blinked mid-air as the Pokéball snapped shut and hit the ground with a tiny, cheerful click.
For a moment, nobody spoke.
Then—
Ding!
[Alpha Crobat Captured]
Link gronned. "Knew it, there is a reason why they look familiar, we are in Red's Planet".
Pit hovered in the air, staring at the Pokéball on the ground like it had personally betrayed him.
"…Did we just catch a nightmare bat… like it was a Pikachu?"
The ball wiggled once.
Twice.
Then went still.
Link picked it up calmly, like this was a completely normal Tuesday.
"Knew it."
He turned the ball so everyone could see the label that formed on its surface:
Alpha Crobat
Phosphora blinked.
"…We fought a boss monster."
Fox rubbed his temples.
"And you just turned it into a pet."
Samus glanced at the ball.
"Red is going to be very proud. Or very mad. Possibly both."
Pit landed and stared at Link.
"You could've told me to aim the ball first!"
Link shrugged.
"You had better throwing accuracy."
Pit opened his mouth… then closed it.
Fair enough.
Lucina looked toward the endless forest stretching across the horizon.
"If this is Red's world… then wildlife here follows Pokémon rules."
Phosphora leaned in, grinning.
"Meaning?"
Lucina smiled slightly.
"…Meaning everything here is catchable."
Pit froze.
'Oh no.'
Fox grinned.
"Oh yes."
Samus patted Pit's shoulder.
"Congratulations. You're now the angelic protagonist of a surprise Pokémon adventure."
Pit sighed, wings drooping.
"…Why does this keep happening to me?"
Somewhere far away…
Villager sneezed.
And a mysterious pair of eyes blinked open in the dark canopy above.
The moment they stepped into the crash clearing, all joking energy died.
The Water Dragon slowed beside them, lowering its long neck as if sensing the shift in mood.
The Fox's Ship wasn't just damaged.
It was crushed.
Metal plating folded inward like paper. Engines split open. One wing had snapped clean off and lay half-buried under a fallen tree. Smoke still curled from scorched earth. The air smelled of burned steel and ozone.
And in the middle of it—
Terry.
On the ground. Bloody. Not moving.
"Terry!"
Lucina didn't wait for anyone. She sprinted forward, dropping to her knees beside him. One hand to his neck.
Pulse.
Weak.
But there.
She exhaled sharply and pulled a healing potion from her belt, lifting his head gently and pouring it between his lips.
A faint glow spread across his body. His breathing steadied. Color returned to his skin.
Terry coughed once, then groaned.
"…Damn… I hate space trips…"
Lucina smiled, relief flickering in her eyes.
"Try not to die again. It's inconvenient."
Terry gave a weak thumbs-up.
Behind them—
Fox stood frozen in front of the ruined ship.
He walked slowly around it, tail stiff, ears low. He ran a hand over a cracked control panel, wires hanging like veins.
"…It looks like…" Fox swallowed. "…Something stepped on it."
Falcon came limping over, one arm bandaged, helmet under his arm.
"Not stepped," Falcon said quietly. "Landed. Hard."
Pit looked around the clearing. Deep imprints in the ground. Circular. Massive.
Phosphora floated higher, scanning the treeline.
"Whatever attacked them… wasn't a flock of Crobats."
Samus narrowed her eyes.
"And it hit hard enough to knock Falcon out of the sky."
Link rested a hand on his sword.
"Meaning it's still out there."
The Water Dragon let out a low, uneasy chirp.
Pit swallowed.
He glanced at the destroyed ship. At Terry. At Fox's shaken expression.
Then he straightened his wings.
"Alright," Pit said, voice steady. "We find out what did this. We help our friends. And then…"
He looked toward the towering forest and the endless sky beyond.
"…We catch the thing that thought smashing our house was a good idea."
Phosphora grinned.
"Now that's the spirit."
Lucina stood, wiping potion residue from her gloves.
"Let's move. Before it comes back."
And above them, unseen—
Something large shifted in the canopy.
Watching. Waiting.
They settled Terry and Falcon inside the Smash Ship's medical room. The humming lights, soft blankets, and steady beeps of the recovery machines made the chaos outside feel far away.
For a moment.
Pit sat beside Terry's bed, wings folded tight, hands resting on his knees. Terry was half-awake now, eyes barely open.
Pit asked quietly,
"Where's the others?"
Falcon leaned against the wall nearby, arms crossed, bandages visible under his jacket.
"When we were fixing the ship," Falcon said, voice rough, "we saw glowing eyes in the forest. It came fast. Too fast."
Lucina stood at the foot of the bed.
"And then?"
Terry exhaled through his nose.
"There were multiple of them. Orange dragons. Wings. Four arms. Sharp teeth."
He paused.
"Pyra got sent flying. Don't know where she landed. Bowsette grabbed Duck Hunt and took off into the forest to draw them away. Villager… got launched. No idea where he fell."
Silence settled heavy.
Fox stood near the doorway, tail stiff.
"And my ship?"
Falcon didn't look away from him.
"One of those things slammed into it. Like it meant to. Crushed it in one hit."
Fox closed his eyes slowly. He didn't yell. Didn't swear.
Just breathed out through his teeth.
"…Okay."
Pit looked between them all.
"So… we're split. On a giant planet. With dragon things. And half our friends missing."
Phosphora floated in upside down from the doorway.
"Ohhh, this is getting spicy."
Lucina ignored her.
"We search in teams," Lucina said. "We find Pyra, Villager, and Bowsette. Then we hunt whatever did this."
Samus checked her arm cannon.
"Agreed."
Link tightened his grip on the Pokéball Red gave him.
"And if those creatures are native Pokémon…"
He glanced at Pit.
"…We might need more than swords."
Pit smiled, small but confident.
"Good thing I brought a dog."
From outside the room—
Twinbellows barked.
Both heads.
And somewhere deep in the forest, far beyond the broken ship…
More glowing eyes opened in the dark.
Link then started to walk, as Pit watched Link take off his armor plates and set them aside with careful precision. Without them, Link looked lighter—faster. Ready.
Link sat at the ship's control console. His fingers moved over the holographic panel with quiet confidence, opening a long-range comm channel.
Pit tilted his head.
"What are you doing?"
Link didn't look away from the screen.
"Calling the Smash House for backup. I'm not sure we're enough."
The signal bar flickered. Weak. The planet's atmosphere interfered with long-distance transmissions.
Samus stepped beside him.
"Smart. If those creatures took down Fox's ship that easily, we shouldn't underestimate them."
Phosphora spun lazily in the air.
"Plus, more people means more chaos. I like it."
Lucina shot her a flat look.
"This isn't a party."
"It can be both," Phosphora said cheerfully.
Fox folded his arms.
"If the signal gets through, who answers first?"
As if on cue—
The screen crackled.
Then a familiar voice came through, slightly distorted.
"—is this working? Hello? Hello?!"
Pit leaned forward.
"…Villager?"
Everyone froze.
The screen sharpened just enough to show a shaky image. Villager stood in the middle of a forest clearing, hat slightly crooked, axe in hand, breathing hard. Behind him, broken trees and scorched ground.
Villager adjusted the camera.
"Hey! I'm okay! I landed in a bush! A very sharp bush! But I'm okay!"
Pit let out a breath he didn't realize he was holding.
Lucina stepped closer.
"Villager, are you alone?"
Villager shook his head quickly.
"Nope! Duck Hunt's here too!"
A dog barked off-screen. A duck quacked angrily.
Villager continued, voice lower.
"But Bowsette ran deeper into the forest. She said she'd lead the dragon things away. I tried to follow, but then another one showed up and I decided survival is better than bravery."
"Good call," Fox muttered.
Link spoke clearly.
"Villager. Stay where you are. We're coming to you first."
Villager saluted with his axe.
"Yes sir, sword boy!"
The signal cut.
Silence filled the medical bay again.
Falcon smirked despite himself.
"Well. At least one cowboy is still standing."
Pit looked around at the group.
Friends injured. Friends missing. Monsters on an unknown world. A ship that could barely fly.
His wings twitched.
Then he smiled.
"Okay," Pit said. "Let's go get everyone back."
And for once—
No one doubted him.
To be continued.
Hope people like this ch and give me power stones and enjoy
