In a certain area, a cracked cliff with numerous pits adorns the surface near a low hill.
A piece of succulent beast meat, its skin intact, lies blatantly on the ground, emanating a tempting bloody aroma under the scorching sun, saturating the surrounding air.
Time slowly passes by.
A dozen minutes later, the ground in front of the meat suddenly bulges and splits open.
A spider emerges from within.
Its body, about the size of a millstone, with legs sharp like spears nearly two meters long, bears a shell of earthy yellow, adorned with rocky textures.
Earth Spider—a level 3 ferocious beast.
Unfurling its limbs, the Earth Spider moves closer to the meat, ready to savor this 'pie' that fell from the sky.
But unbeknownst to it, nothing in the world comes for free.
Whoosh!
A gust of wind suddenly gusts from behind.
The Red Iron Young Dragon swoops down at low altitude, capturing it as the Earth Spider barely reacts, and then, using a mental connection, successfully subdues it through a mix of coercion and inducement.
In all respects, the Earth Spider is inferior to the Rock-Breaking Worm.
However, after searching for days, Galos didn't find any other Rock-Breaking Worm swarms or other suitable creatures, so had to give up.
"One Earth Spider is too few, catch more of them."
Galos thought to himself.
Using beast meat as bait is somewhat inefficient, he considered trying another method.
After pondering for a while, Galos noticed that the Earth Spider he just tamed had an abdomen of earthy brown with a hint of dark red.
The inherited knowledge told him that this indicates it is a female spider, currently in the stage of accepting reproduction with other male spiders, capable of emitting hormones to attract them.
As to why the inherited knowledge even contained this.
It can only be said that the Dragon Race has a broad range of interests, with at least one ancestor among Galos' line intrigued by Earth Spiders, leaving behind such knowledge.
What follows is simple.
The female spider complacently lay on the ground, exuding a scent that entranced other male spiders.
Before long, a male spider arrived, drawn by the scent.
However, the male spider's hopes were not realized.
Just as it eagerly emerged, it was caught by the Red Iron Young Dragon's bait-and-trap tactic, and through threats and inducements, it was subdued in a similar manner.
"Lust is a sharp blade hanging over one's head, poor spiders."
Galos lamented, continuing the bait-and-trap tactic.
Not long after.
Galos now had a group of Earth Spiders under his command, totaling 43.
42 male spiders, 1 female spider.
All male spiders were sent by Galos to a small black oil field occupied by dwarves to extract black oil for him, while the female spider remained at Iron Pine Hills, provided with all essentials and exempt from danger.
But this did not mean the female spider had no tasks.
Besides continuing to attract other Earth Spiders, it was responsible for calming and boosting the male spiders' motivation.
When subduing the male spiders, Galos made a promise.
A male spider that could bring back black oil would earn a chance to mate with the female spider.
For these ferocious beasts with limited intelligence, the desire to reproduce outweighed everything else.
Driven by their innate desire to breed, the male spiders set off with vigor, while Galos silently awaited their triumphant return.
Days later, at Iron Pine Hills.
Samantha exhaled a ball of flame.
Boom!
The fireball struck Galos, exploding into dazzling flames, and the powerful impact shook off the last few buffering scales on his body, revealing the steel-cast black-red scale armor beneath.
Feeling the dryness and burning of his throat.
"Are we done yet? I am getting a bit tired."
Samantha panted, asking.
"Continue, we're just getting started. Don't tell me your stamina is worse than Möbel's?"
Galos ruthlessly pressed on, using reverse psychology.
Glancing at the Earth Bear resting against the iron pine, Samantha's competitive spirit was ignited, gritting her teeth, she said, "You asked for it, I'm going all out now."
With that.
Samantha took a deep breath, her chest swelling, and between the gaps in her scales appeared a lava-like dark red glow.
A blazing flame appeared amidst her interlaced dragon teeth, churning within her mouth.
Explosive Dragon Breath Bomb!
The temperature of the surrounding air invisibly climbed, brewing for several seconds, a bright red fireball, dense as magma, shot from Samantha's mouth, hurtling directly towards Galos.
In his eyes, the swiftly approaching fireball was reflected.
Galos did not dodge, instead braced his chest, confronting it head-on.
Boom!
The powerful shockwave erupted, the gale entwined with flames spread out, the ground blasted into vast craters and scorched earth.
A Red Dragon's attack is known for its immense power.
Faced with the other's most potent attack, Galos couldn't avoid being blasted away, crashing through several iron pines before coming to a stop.
Standing up and looking down, the thick black-red scale armor on his chest caved in, cracks radiating outwards.
"Now that's more like it!"
Feeling the pain in his chest, Galos, far from angry, was pleased.
Samantha's other attacks failed to tickle him; this performance, however, was satisfactory.
"Again, I'll stand still while you attack."
He looked at Samantha, eagerly saying.
Unexpectedly, Samantha had already collapsed to the ground, like a pile of mud, the previous Explosive Dragon Breath Bomb having depleted her last drop of energy.
"Galos, you, are getting, more, depraved."
Samantha gasped, tongue out, speaking intermittently.
She was done for.
But Galos was still craving more, turning his gaze to the Earth Bear Möbel.
Möbel closed its eyes, pretending to be dead.
It was the sparring partner before Samantha, and still hasn't recovered, despite fighting Galos, it's always itself ending up sore all over.
Galos, unsated, shot skyward, seeking out a desolate mountain and open space, crashing into it over and over.
Nearby beasts, faces full of fear, watched the maddened dragon, repeatedly crashing mountains and earth, hurriedly distancing themselves to avoid being caught up in the chaos.
Bam!
The solid granite shattered under Galos's dragon horn's impact.
After training for a while.
Galos walked out from the 'cave' he had made through crashing, shaking off dust and debris from his body, still not completely satisfied.
As his physique gradually strengthened, ordinary training was becoming less and less effective.
This small barren mountain in front of him, Galos has almost punched through it, and only a few more cracks appeared on his scale armor, without even completely shattering.
"Ordinary mountains and earth are no longer fulfilling my training needs."
"I need a better, more suitable environment."
Shaking his Dragon Wings, raising a gale, dust swirling, Galos pondered, preparing to return to Iron Pine Hills.
Just then.
A dry, desert sand-like dragon scent suddenly breezed in.
Narrowing his eyes slightly, Galos gazed skyward.
In his vision.
Appeared the figure of a Dragon.
With scales of scarlet, under sunlight, exuding a bright metallic luster, a pair of spiral horns resembling ram's horns extending from the forehead to the back, copper-colored hardened scale whiskers from neck to back fluttered in the breeze, in flight, it moved like a crimson sandstorm across the sky.
This was a Red Copper Dragon, a type of Metal Dragon.
Heading straight, it was coming towards Galos's location with a clear purpose, evidently having detected Galos's presence.
"Wanton destruction of innocent mountains and land, hmph, evil by nature, red and iron mixed-blood dragon, today, this dragon shall let you feel a taste of the Metal Dragon's retribution!"
The young Red Copper Dragon, displeased by the dragon scent from Galos, felt a strong urge to battle.
