Flying Eagle huddled in the corner, his body trembling uncontrollably, as if wanting to merge himself into the darkness.
The darkness enveloped the room, so thick it seemed tangible, almost suffocating.
In order to avoid it, he had specifically found a secluded place, not in his usual living area.
But this damn darkness seemed to have life, inch by inch eroding his mental defenses.
Suddenly, the room bore strange patterns, like ancient runes, flickering with eerie light, making one dizzy.
Flying Eagle noticed a strange monster appear in front of him.
The monster appeared without any sign, as if forcefully squeezed in from another dimension.
The room was full of its writhing tentacles.
Those tentacles were like giant pythons, twisting wantonly in the darkness, emitting a creepy "sizzling" sound wherever they passed.
With a bit of light shining through, Flying Eagle then saw that what was in front of him was a giant octopus, full of eyes.
