She was lost in thought when suddenly she heard a soft laugh behind her.
"Luna."
The voice was as gentle as jade, with a touch of familiar teasing.
She swiftly turned around and saw Kian Sterling standing not far away, his nine snow-white fox tails gently swaying in the morning light, making his features as picturesque as a painting, androgynous and indistinguishable.
"Kian!"
Luna Sutton's eyes instantly brightened with a hint of laughter as she walked over.
Noticing the nine snow-white fox tails behind him, her eyes filled with even more joy as she happily exclaimed, "Your tails have grown back?"
Kian Sterling smiled at her, his fingertips gently brushing the hair that fell on both sides of her face, tucking it behind her ear: "Yes, the Sacred Pool was very effective."
He raised his eyes, glancing over at Corbin Crowley, Rhys Blackwood, and the others, especially when he saw their evolved forms, a trace of complexity flashed in his eyes.
But soon it was replaced by relief.
