Zeke Veridian's emerald green eyes narrowed slightly, his voice cool with a hint of hoarseness and confusion: "I may not know much about Aetheria, but I do know that the Phoenix Clan is a behemoth, not a place we can casually visit, especially in the dead of night."
Luna Sutton knew what he was worried about. While tying her beast skin skirt, she explained, "Mael Valerius has a childhood betrothal, with the daughter of the Phoenix Clan Chief, Celestia Fawkes. For some unknown crazy reason, she curses me daily behind my back and has ordered the Great Witch of the Phoenix Clan to place some kind of vicious curse on me. I've heard the curse will be cast on the next full moon, so I must find that brat before then."
Zeke's face instantly darkened upon hearing this: "Where did you hear about this, Luna?"
