Luna Sutton tiptoed to cup his face, "But it's too dangerous for Kian Sterling to go to Beast King City alone. Besides..."
She blinked mischievously, "Don't you think you should find a chance to make up for breaking his tail last time?"
Mael Valerius' handsome face was full of conflict: "Make up for what? Didn't I apologize to him? I even said I would compensate him, but he didn't accept it. Besides, breaking his tail wasn't entirely my fault. If he hadn't wrapped his fox tail around my dragon claw trying to pull me down from the sky, it wouldn't have been torn off by me. We didn't know each other then, and we were in conflict. It can't all be blamed on me, can it?"
He could humble himself and apologize to Kian Sterling, even offer compensation, only because of Luna.
But that didn't mean the incident was entirely his fault.
Luna Sutton looked at him helplessly, sighing in her heart, knowing he was making sense.
