Bella Acker returned to the room, not even taking off her coat, and flung herself onto the bed.
Damian Sinclair came in holding chicken soup and saw her backpack thrown on the carpet as she lay on the bed, not even moving at the sound of the door opening.
Damian walked over, placed the chicken soup on the nightstand, and said, "Why aren't you eating anything?" As he spoke, he sat on the bed, stretched out his long arm, and pulled her up.
"Don't touch me, I'm upset," Bella pouted and complained.
Damian wasn't about to pay attention to her little mood swings; he gently lifted her onto his lap, reached out, and unzipped her coat, removing the thick garment bit by bit.
Bella pouted but didn't struggle.
"With the heating turned up so high in this room, and you're wearing such thick clothes, aren't you worried about overheating yourself? Failed the audition?" Damian asked casually.
