Bella Acker put the medical report in her bag and got out of the car by the roadside.
She waited for Judy Zimmerman to drive off before taking out her phone, editing a text message, and sending it to Damian Sinclair.
"Damian, I'm giving you only two choices now: to want me or not. If you want me, come meet me at the place where I celebrated your birthday, the same place where we made up after our last breakup. I will wait for you there until I can't wait any longer. If you don't come in the end, then I'll have my answer."
She just wanted to be selfish for herself this time, placing everything on one final bet.
This message was intended to force Damian Sinclair into making a final decision. Choose to be with her against his family's wishes or choose his family and give her up; this time she gave him only these two options.
