Caden Lockwood, both annoyed and resentful, placed the bottle on the table, gripped Evelyn Morgan's wrist, and prepared to leave with her.
Evelyn hurriedly pulled her hand away, glaring at Caden, and angrily said, "What are you doing!"
Her hand hurt from the grip.
"If you don't want to die, come home with me." Caden emphasized each word.
"Die?" Evelyn laughed, "Who do you think you are? What right do you have to decide someone else's life and death? Go away! I'm waiting for Logan Shaw here, I have matters to discuss with him. You go do your own thing, do whatever you want, be with whoever you want."
