After asking, Evelyn held her breath, waiting for Logan Shaw to give her an answer.
Although she believed he was, she still wanted to hear him say it himself.
"What?" Logan Shaw's eyes were filled with disappointment, "Adoption?"
"Isn't it?" Evelyn was anxious, "Could it be, you're not him? Don't lie to me! I clearly saw you meeting with Aunt May that day! She was very respectful to you too!"
"Did you misunderstand?" Logan Shaw shook his head, "I did meet Aunt May before, but it was just to ask her to help buy some things from my hometown."
Upon hearing this, Evelyn's eyes instantly shattered, feeling like her heart was pierced by a needle, a sharp and intense pain.
She firmly believed, never even considering that he wasn't.
Her eyes filled with tears; she once thought she had found her big brother.
