Evelyn was puzzled, but at that moment, she heard the sound of a car outside.
Looking through the floor-to-ceiling window, she saw that the visitors were Ashley and Logan Shaw.
Evelyn instinctively glanced at Caden Lockwood and stammered, "Did you... did you call them?"
He just mentioned dealing with some things at home, could it possibly be related to Ashley and Logan?
Seeing Caden's sullen expression without a reply, Evelyn quickly spoke up, "Do you still not believe that Logan and I are innocent? I know he has some feelings for me, but we have never done anything to betray you!"
"Your nervousness only makes me suspicious." Caden's tone was not pleasant, "Calm down."
He was really annoyed by Evelyn's nervous expression every time she encountered Logan Shaw.
Caden had more than once wished for Logan to disappear.
But, rather than making Logan disappear, a better way would be to make Logan completely give up on Evelyn!
