Lance sighed, "I got caught up in some things."
Professor Valentiono smiled slightly, one that made Lance shift uncomfortably.
"You're still not taking things seriously," he said. "And I won't tolerate that, Dixon."
Lance's eye twitched. "What exactly do you want from me?"
The professor stepped closer. "I want you," he said quietly, "to stop pretending you can glide through this course on raw talent alone."
A pause.
"And I want," his eyes flicked downward, then up again, "a proper conversation. In my office. After hours."
Lance blinked slowly. "…Why after hours?"
Valentino tilted his head, lips curving.
"So no one interrupts us."

Because of his contract with Ansel, he couldn't sleep with anyone else and even without it, he would never sleep with this man.
