Chapter 121 - Chapter 121 - Threads of Reality

Kairo walked through the academy halls, holding a cup of yogurt in his hand. After a few moments, he spotted Yura sitting quietly at her desk near the window, the sunlight falling across her silver hair.

"Yura."

She looked up.

Without saying much, Kairo placed the yogurt on her desk.

Yura blinked.

"...For me?"

Kairo scratched the back of his head awkwardly.

"Yeah. You did great today."

For a brief moment, Yura stared at the yogurt before a small smile appeared on her face.

"Uh... yeah, I guess so."

Kairo smiled.

"But it's actually fine. The Griffin students are here now."

Yura nodded quietly before looking out the window again.

Meanwhile, inside the academy's meeting room, students and teachers gathered around a long wooden table.

Shougo sat calmly at one end.

Across from him sat Griffin and his students.

The atmosphere remained peaceful, though slightly awkward.

Shougo cleared his throat.

"Actually, I would like to introduce my students."

He gestured toward Kairo.

"This is Kairo Kurosawa. His current rank is E-4. He's still growing, but don't worry. Kairo will become much stronger in the future."

Yuki glanced at Kairo before rolling her eyes.

"A guy like him should train harder."

Kairo immediately looked offended.

"Hey!"

Shougo chuckled softly.

"Maybe."

He rested his chin on one hand.

"But I don't want Kairo to spend his entire life suffering through training."

His gaze softened.

"I want him to become stronger while still being happy."

Kairo paused.

For some reason, hearing those words made his chest feel lighter.

Shougo then pointed toward Yura.

"This is Yura. She's Rank B-4."

Aoi stopped drinking her milk.

"Wait, she's that strong?"

Shougo nodded.

"She's incredibly powerful."

Then he smiled awkwardly.

"Though she can become... a little terrifying when she's emotional."

Yura immediately forced a smile.

"Hehehe..."

The smile looked so unnatural that everyone became silent.

Aoi lowered her milk slowly.

"She looks weird."

"I heard that."

Yura's eye twitched.

Shougo quickly changed the topic.

"And this is Tyouro."

Tyouro immediately stood up.

"HELLO EVERYONE!"

His loud voice echoed through the room.

Shougo sighed.

"He's the funny one."

"No, I'm the coolest one."

"No."

"Okay, maybe funny."

The room chuckled.

Shougo pointed at him.

"He's currently Rank D-4."

Tyouro puffed out his chest proudly.

"But one day I'll be S-Rank."

Nobody responded.

"...Tough crowd."

Finally, Shougo gestured toward Kimimaru.

Kimimaru stood quietly with his arms crossed.

"This is Kimimaru."

Shougo smiled faintly.

"I've raised him since he was a baby."

Kimimaru looked away.

"Stop telling people that."

Shougo ignored him.

"He may seem emotionless, but deep down he genuinely cares about others."

Kimimaru immediately looked even more annoyed.

"Please stop."

"He's also a Rank C-3 swordsman."

Oko laughed.

"That's actually pretty impressive."

Griffin watched the group quietly before rubbing his forehead.

"They all look like they're forcing themselves."

Shougo blinked.

"Hehehe?"

A moment later, he smiled awkwardly.

"No, they're just naturally like this."

The room somehow became even more awkward.

Then Oko suddenly slapped the table excitedly.

"Sensei!"

Everyone looked toward him.

Oko grinned.

"How about a match?"

"A match?"

"Yeah!"

His eyes sparkled.

"I want to see Sensei Shougo's students fight Sensei Griffin's students."

The room immediately became interested.

Griffin smiled.

"I agree."

He leaned forward slightly.

"I'd like to see how much they've grown."

Shougo looked toward his students.

Then he smiled nervously.

"Actually..."

"Kairo isn't available."

"E-EH?!"

Kairo nearly jumped out of his chair.

"Sensei! I'm available!"

"I know, but—"

"I'M AVAILABLE!"

Oko pointed dramatically.

"I don't care. Kairo is fighting."

Kairo froze.

"...Wait."

Everyone ignored him.

Far away in the Stonefang Highlands, laughter echoed through the mountains.

"HAHAHAHAHAHA!"

Raizen sat atop a massive rock overlooking the endless landscape.

The wind blew through his dark hair as he laughed to himself.

"I seriously don't understand humans."

He shook his head.

"They live pathetic lives."

"They suffer."

"They fail."

"And somehow they keep moving forward."

His grin widened.

"What a joke."

Nearby, Hiroshi leaned calmly against a tree with his arms folded.

Unlike Raizen, his expression remained unreadable.

Then—

Crunch.

A faint sound came from behind them.

Footsteps.

Hiroshi's eyes shifted.

Raizen slowly stopped laughing.

A figure emerged from the trees.

"So..."

The man smiled.

"Long time no see, Raizen."

Raizen's eyes widened slightly.

Then he grinned.

"Yurota."

The atmosphere immediately changed.

"I've been waiting for you to wake up."

His grin became mocking.

"You're still pathetic, hu—"

Before he could finish—

Yurota vanished.

The next moment—

His hand was already wrapped around Raizen's throat.

CRACK.

Raizen's feet left the ground.

His eyes widened.

"Wha—?!"

Yurota held him effortlessly.

His expression remained calm.

Cold.

Dangerously calm.

"Do you honestly think you're stronger than me?"

Raizen struggled.

Yurota sighed.

"With that ego of yours?"

His grip tightened slightly.

"You're still the same."

A faint smile appeared.

"You'd probably cry for your mommy if things got difficult."

Raizen glared furiously.

"Ugh... let me go!"

Yurota simply ignored him.

Reality Weave — The Power That Threads Existence

There are abilities that control elements.

Abilities that manipulate energy.

Abilities that alter the body.

But Reality Weave belongs to something far beyond those concepts.

Reality is not a single world.

It is an endless fabric composed of countless threads.

Every dimension.

Every possibility.

Every universe.

All connected through invisible strands of existence.

Reality Weave grants the power to perceive and manipulate those threads.

The user does not teleport.

Instead—

They rewrite the connection between locations.

Distance becomes meaningless.

A mountain can become adjacent to a battlefield.

A sealed dimension can become a doorway.

A hidden realm can suddenly overlap with reality.

To a Reality Weaver, existence resembles a living tapestry waiting to be rearranged.

They can create dimensional seams where realities overlap.

Step between worlds.

Hide within the spaces separating dimensions.

Or bring fragments of distant realms into their own.

But movement is not the true danger of Reality Weave.

Alteration is.

A skilled user can reshape the structure of space itself.

Attacks lose their path.

Targets become reachable.

Entire realms can be isolated from the outside world.

To ordinary beings, reality is a prison built from fixed walls.

To a Reality Weaver—

Those walls are merely threads.

Threads waiting to be rewoven.

Yet such power carries risk.

Every thread connects to countless others.

Every alteration changes the pattern of existence.

A careless Reality Weaver does not merely damage reality.

They risk unraveling it entirely.

Reality Weave is not the power to escape existence.

It is the power to reshape how existence itself is connected.

Yurota finally released Raizen.

THUD.

Raizen landed on the ground and coughed violently.

Yurota looked down at him.

"Keep acting like this."

His voice was calm.

"No wonder your wife barely tolerates you."

Raizen's expression darkened.

Yurota continued.

"You know exactly who she is."

For the first time, even Hiroshi became silent.

Yurota's eyes narrowed.

"And if you lose again..."

His gaze sharpened.

"She'll erase your life without hesitation."

A heavy silence fell over the area.

"Everyone fears her, Raizen."

His voice became quieter.

"You're the lucky one."

"Because she hasn't decided to get rid of you yet."

Yurota turned away.

"She's planning something dangerous."

"So if I were you..."

He glanced over his shoulder.

"I'd be careful."

Raizen slowly stood.

His eyes burned with irritation.

"I don't care."

A grin spread across his face.

"No matter what happens, she still wants me."

His laughter returned.

"Besides..."

He spread his arms dramatically.

"We even have a son living somewhere in this pathetic world."

"HAHAHAHA!"

His grin widened.

"I don't care about that kid anymore."

Hiroshi finally spoke.

"Actually..."

The two looked toward him.

"Your wife is planning to revive someone."

Raizen paused.

Hiroshi's expression remained calm.

"I don't know who."

"But whatever she's preparing..."

He looked toward the horizon.

"It's important."

"We'll know when she finally speaks."

A cold wind swept through the mountains.

Hiroshi closed his eyes.

"For now..."

Raizen smirked.

Yurota remained silent.

And somewhere far beyond their sight—

The threads of reality were already beginning to move.
