Chapter 2 - Chapter 2 - Fire on the Bridge

Vicky wiped his fingers on a tissue, pushed his half-empty plate aside, and checked his phone again.

Rahul:Reached bro!Akash:Physics ne maar daala aaj…Rahul:Vicky topper banne ka natak chhod—how was it?

Vicky grinned and typed:

Vicky:Gaya bhaad mein exam. Aa jao lobby.

Within seconds, his Discord VC lit up with their voices.

"Chal, ready?" Rahul asked.

"Haan bhai," Akash replied, yawning. "Let's destroy some poor souls today after getting destroyed by physics."

They started a squad match. A random fourth teammate auto-joined—username "SniperOp_143".

"Please don't be a kid," Vicky muttered.

The match started. The timer counted down. Then the scene cut to the familiar rumbling airplane.

"School?" Rahul suggested.

"School," both Akash and Vicky agreed in unison.

Even the random tagged along behind them as they jumped.

Parachutes opened. The massive School building rushed up below them. But they weren't alone.

Two entire squads were landing in the adjacent compound.

"Guns first, no drama!" Rahul shouted.

They landed on the rooftop and sprinted.

Footsteps echoed everywhere. Shouts. Reload sounds.A chaos Vicky had lived through hundreds of times.

The last squad to land got shredded instantly—half by Rahul's AK, half by the other enemy team. Bodies dropped before they even got their footing.

"Nice," Akash said, pumping his shotgun. "One team wiped."

But the other surviving team was already pushing aggressively.

In seconds, bullets started flying.

Rahul's AK tapped the rooftop railing.Akash's shotgun thundered at close range.Vicky crouched behind an AC vent, peeking with a shaky SKS.

Then—

"Mere ko revive karo, bhai!!"Their random teammate got knocked and crawled desperately, leaving a trail.

"Arre yaar…" Rahul groaned. "Why do we always get these people!?"

None of them had helmets. The enemy had at least two—Level 1 and Level 2 glinting under the sunlight.Headshots were risky. Body shots barely counted.

Vicky crawled behind the downed teammate and noticed something on the ground beside him.

A Molotov.

"Perfect," Vicky whispered.

He grabbed it, peeked the corner, and yelled into global voice:

"Aag lag jaaye tum sabko!!"

He hurled the Molotov across the roof.

It shattered beautifully.

Fire spread in a wide arc—lickingclimbingswallowing the three enemies.

They panicked, scrambling, burning, screaming into proximity chat.

Rahul didn't wait.

"GRENADE OUT!"He lobbed a frag straight into the fire.

BOOM.

Team eliminated.

The rooftop fell silent.

"Easy," Rahul smirked.

"Shut up," Vicky laughed, heart still racing. "My SKS had one bullet left."

"And my shotgun had none left," Akash added. "I clicked once and it just—click."

They looted in a hurry.Vicky found a SCAR-L.Rahul grabbed more AK ammo.Akash found an M24 sniper and a Vector.

They moved downstairs.

Another squad was in the auditorium—quick footsteps, gunshots echoing. But a well-timed snipe from Akash and a push from Rahul cleared them fast.

"Four teams… TEN minutes!" Akash cheered.

"Camping ka time," Rahul said. "Bridge?"

"Bridge," they all agreed.

They found a jeep parked near the main gate, jumped in, and drove toward the west bridge. The sea breeze blew through the broken windows of the jeep.

As they approached, a crate came falling from the sky.

"Airdrop… RIGHT ON THE BRIDGE?" Vicky shouted.

"This is either good… or very, very bad," Akash said dramatically.

They hid their jeep under the bridge and climbed up to camp between the rusted cars.

They lay low.Silent.Waiting.

"Minimum two teams aayenge," Rahul whispered.

"Kamal ka luck hai aaj," Vicky groaned. "Why here of all places."

Minutes passed.Then they heard it.

Engines.

One vehicle from the far side—a blue Dacia sedan speeding toward the drop.

Another from behind them—a buggyand right behind it, a bike.

The buggy and bike reached the airdrop first. The players jumped off, tossing smoke, scrambling over the crate.

Seconds later, the sedan screeched to a halt.

A Molotov flew from the sedan team—bursting across the buggy squad before they even understood what happened.

Then bullets rained down.

The bike exploded in a fiery blast. All three riders were gone instantly.

The sedan team waited for the flames to die, then jogged forward to loot the corpses and the airdrop.

Rahul whispered, "Boys… it's our turn."

A grin crept across Vicky's face.

And with the bridge trembling under distant gunfire, their real battle was about to begin.
