Chapter 2 - My Normal Routine Being Destroyed

0600 hours. The dorm was already a disaster zone.

Mordred was sitting cross-legged on his desk, swinging her legs and eating his emergency rations like popcorn. Jeanne was kneeling on the floor, polishing her black banner flag while humming a hymn that somehow made the air smell like incense and sin.

Percival stood in the middle of the room in his sleeping shorts, hair a mess, trying to process that his life had become a harem isekai in under six hours.

"Cancel everything," he muttered, voice hoarse. "Morning run, tank inspection, officer briefing—cancel all of it." He sent the messages through his magitech phone with the excuse "sudden dimensional sickness." Nobody would question a captain who'd once held the line with a broken rib.

First problem: the two SSRs refused to be more than two meters away from him.

Mordred: "Master goes, I go. Simple." Jeanne: "My soul is bound to you. Separation is blasphemy."

Second problem: if anyone saw them this close to him, rumors would spread faster than a rift breach.

Solution: make them legal.

He opened an encrypted channel to his three oldest gamer buddies—Lieutenant Reed, Warrant Officer Kael, and Sergeant "Potato" Jin—who handled personnel paperwork for the 15th Company.

Percival: "Need two emergency recruit slots, combat-capable awakeners, direct enlistment under my command. Paperwork in thirty minutes."

Ten minutes later the digital paperwork was signed.

Official names registered:

Recruit Name: Mordred Stormvale

Recruit Name: Jeanne Stormvale

Relation: Cousins

Rank: Specialist

Assigned unit: Personal attachment to Captain Percival Dawnspire, 15th Light Crusade Company

Next problem: uniforms.

Military uniforms on them would still scream "these two are way too perfect and clinging to the captain."

Elysian materialized on his shoulder in chibi form, tail swishing.

[Master~ I prepared something better than boring military cloth.] Two glowing wardrobe icons appeared.

When Percival saw it, he reacted, "Oh God, you got to be kidding me right now."

[Skins Shop – Harem Edition ♡]

1. "Rebel Knight's Battle Dress" (Mordred) – +250% Strength, +150% Aggro Draw, passive "Master's Scent" aura.

2. "Fallen Saintess War Regalia" (Jeanne) – +300% Magic Damage, +200% Fire Resistance, passive "Divine Lust" field (enemies lose morale, allies… lose focus)

Both skins looked like cosplay armor designed by someone who had never heard the word "regulation."

Percival rubbed his temples. "Anything that doesn't scream "I belong to the master's bed'?"

Elysian pouted. [Fine. Military-compliant variants added.]

With a snap of her tiny fingers, the outfits shifted—same stat bonuses, but now they resembled sleek black-red and black-silver Magitech Combat Suits with the 15th Company insignia. Still form-fitting enough to cause traffic accidents, but technically within uniform code.

Percival exhaled in relief—then noticed a third tab labeled [Master's Wardrobe].

Curiosity won. He tapped it.

1. "Dawn Sovereign's Casual Coat" – +500 All Stats, +1000% Charm, passive "Heroines within 50m enter Heat status."

2. "Sovereign's Nightwear Set" – Pregnancy rate +5000%, all summons gain "Can't Sleep Unless Master Tucks Us In" debuff.

He closed the tab so fast the holographic window cracked.

"What the fuck is that, are you being serious, Elysian?" I shouldn't have made my curiosity made the choice. Oh goodness gracious, what the hell.

"Never open that again," he ordered.

Elysian giggled. [As you wish… for now ♡]

"What do you mean for now??? Argh... Forget it..."

Mordred stretched, new combat suit materializing over her body in a flash of red light. The jacket hung open exactly enough to be distracting.

"So, Master," she said with a feral grin, "when do we go kill monsters and then celebrate on your bed?"

"Huh? What do you say just now, celebrate on my bed, nah ah, what the hell are you saying Mordred." And then Jeanne was just same as Mordred. "Master, I want to shower together with you."

Percival was on the brink of stress because the girls had no filters when it came to what they said. In an attempt to manage the situation, he established some specific rules for them. After all, it was his summons, and he believed he could command them. However, Percival had a nagging feeling that his commands weren't effective, as if Elysian had deliberately undermined his authority.

"Okay, listen up, Jeanne and Mordred." The two women listened immediately.

1. "Never call me 'Master' in public. Ever. Only in private. Out here I'm 'Captain' or 'Sir'.

2. No hugging, no kissing, no leaning, no bedroom talk. At all. We are soldiers. Act like it.

3. You're both knights from another world, right? Then behave like proper knights: disciplined, professional, stoic. You stand at parade rest when not spoken to, you salute, you keep two metres distance in public. Understood?"

Mordred scratched her cheek. "So… no whispering how I want you to pin me against the tank later?"

"No."

Jeanne tilted her head. "And I may not mention the victory shower for three?"

"Absolutely not."

Both girls saluted with perfect military crispness.

"Yes, Captain!" they chorused, faces suddenly serious.

Percival exhaled in relief. Maybe this would work.

0700–1200 hours, training grounds and company HQ

It worked for exactly four minutes.

Whenever no one was directly addressing him, the spicy private channel in his head (courtesy of the system bond) lit up like a red-light district.

Mordred (mental link): «Captain, your voice during the briefing was so sexy I almost dropped my rifle.»

Jeanne (mental link): «The way you stood on the tank made me want to kneel for entirely unprofessional reasons♡»

Lunch break, officers' mess

Normally Percival ate with Reed, Kael, and Potato—the same introverted gamer squad that had survived four years of gate breaches and bad gacha luck together.

Today he took a corner table alone, hoping for five minutes of peace.

Mordred and Jeanne instantly flanked him, trays in hand, sitting so close their thighs touched his under the table.

Reed walked over, eyebrow raised. "Uh… Percy? You're eating with the newbies now?"

Percival opened his mouth to answer.

Mordred (mental link, sweet smile never leaving her face): «Tell him you're busy teaching me how to handle your big gun, Captain~»

Percival choked on his protein cube.

Jeanne placed a gentle hand on his forearm in full view of half the mess hall. "Captain was kind enough to personally mentor us. We're very… attached to his guidance."

Half the mess turned to stare.

Reed's eyes narrowed. "Dude. You said they were just random awakeners. You never mentioned they were glued to you like combat armor."

Percival forced a laugh that sounded like a dying engine. "They're just really dedicated to learning the chain of command. Right, Specialists?"

"Yes, Captain," they answered in perfect unison, eyes shining with pure devotion.

Kael whispered from across the table, loud enough for everyone to hear: "Traitor confirmed."

Potato started a slow clap. "First blood for the bro code. Rest in peace."

Percival put his head in his hands.

He just wanted a quiet lunch.

After lunch break, he went back to his office and bonk Jeanne and Mordred head with his fist, "What the hell do you think your doing!!!"

They felt the pain and just smiled, including Elysian who was giggling the whole time.
