Chapter 1 - My born was in hell

In a pitch-black void, a dark blue orb drifted without direction or purpose. Soon, however, a screen materialized in front of it.

[Initializing multiversal system.] the screen displayed, while the orb seemed to "look" at it with faint curiosity.

[Due to the lack of a physical body for the player, the system will now assign one… Body selected: Dabura — Jujutsu Kaisen Monjuro variant.]

As the system spoke, the orb began to take shape. Two horns formed first, followed by a tall, muscular body. On its forehead, a horizontal third eye slowly opened as the new player awakened from his dormant state.

[The system will now grant the player a welcome bonus package. Items can be redeemed once you arrive in the chosen world.]

With that message, the interface vanished in a swirl of blue light, leaving the void empty once again.

In the streets of Hell, a large figure emerged within a narrow alley. He stretched lazily, boredom clear in his expression—yet beneath that, a flicker of surprise appeared as a glowing screen opened before him.

"System, redeem the bonus," he said, a hint of anticipation creeping into his voice, though he tried not to expect much. It could easily have been something useless.

[Congratulations! You have received the Goro Goro no Mi — Enel's Devil Fruit.]

He froze for a moment, then chuckled under his breath as electricity surged through his body in sharp, precise waves.

"So that's it, Enel… the feeling of lightning is way too addictive, huh?"

Grinning, he stepped out of the alley, ignoring his surroundings. The citizens looked strangely familiar to him, and as he scanned the horizon, he spotted a massive clock tower shaped like a cathedral.

"Hm… So this is Hazbin Hotel, huh?" he murmured with a smile. When he stretched again, he felt a tug behind him—turning around just in time to see a sinner attempting to stab him. The knife passed harmlessly through his logia body.

"Well… let's play with the power outlet, shall we?"

He seized the sinner by the neck as sparks of energy danced along his arms. With a burst of neon-blue light, the sinner's body blackened and crumbled, smoke rising from the charred remains.

"Nice. If I'm the first to show up at the hotel, I can mess with Alastor. Never liked that guy… Anyway, let's do what every isekai protagonist does—ruin characters everyone loves and claims are stronger than Goku."

POV — Charlie Morningstar

I just don't know what to do anymore. I tried giving another interview—this was supposed to be the grand opening of the hotel six days ago. I tried talking to my dad, my mom, but nothing.

Is it really so wrong that I just want to help souls find redemption?

The princess of Hell slumped back against the door, defeated. Suddenly, three quiet knocks broke the silence echoing through the empty building. Through the glass, she spotted a towering figure waiting outside.

When she opened the door, she found a massive sinner—yet unlike the others, he carried himself with surprising humility. His only obvious inhuman traits were his long horns, pointed ears, and the single horizontal eye on his forehead.

"Is this the Happy Hotel, by any chance?" the large sinner asked politely.

"Yes? This is the place… Who's asking?" Charlie replied, unsure what to make of him.

"I'm, uh… Elliot Dabura! I came here seeking redemption," he said.

Charlie blinked once, twice—then screamed and lunged forward, hugging him tightly. Outwardly, Elliot stayed stoic, but internally he was a chaotic mess of red panic.

"Well… I guess this is my life now," he muttered.
