Chapter 1 - Prolouge

Long ago, the world was called Elysara — a land of golden sunlight, laughing children, and cities alive with human life. Men walked proudly through these lands, their strength worn like armor, but their hearts had grown cruel. Power had twisted them; pride had blinded them. The whispers of the weak, the cries of the innocent, went unheard… lost in a world ruled by arrogance.

From the heavens, the goddess Aeralyn watched, her gaze sharp as lightning, her voice echoing like distant thunder:

"Humanity has failed. They have forgotten compassion, honor, and true love. They shall bear the weight of their choices."

With a sweep of her hand, the world changed. Cities shattered into ruins, forests sprang where streets once ran, and rivers surged into untamed torrents. Plains rose into jagged mountains, and valleys were swallowed by shadowed woods. Men were no longer men — their forms twisted into the creatures their hearts reflected: wolves prowled where soldiers once marched, dragons soared above ruined castles, birds of prey claimed the skies, and stone giants guarded broken lands. And the women… they vanished, leaving the world hollow, chaotic, and unbalanced.

Yet even in this punishment, Aeralyn left a glimmer of hope. Her prophecy whispered through the trees, carried on the wind, echoed in the mountains:

"When the hearts of the cursed are weighed, a human shall return. She will walk among them, bearing the gift of humanity. Through her, they shall be tested, and through her, the balance may be restored… or shattered forever."

Far beyond the reach of time, beyond memory and mortal reckoning, a girl slept. Her name was Lyra Veyne. She was human. She was alone. And she carried within her a power both precious and perilous — a gift that the gods themselves had deemed necessary.

The forests trembled. Mountains groaned as if stirring from a long slumber. Rivers whispered secrets in tongues long forgotten. And somewhere, deep in the heart of Lycanthara, the beastfolk waited, unaware that the arrival of a single human could change everything — and that the fate of their world was about to be rewritten.
