Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 — The Child Heaven Was Not Allowed to See

Main Story — Canon Draft

The ninth sky of the Divine Realm trembled.

Not from war—

not from a god's wrath—

but from a sound softer than a heartbeat:

the cry of a newborn.

Inside the Celestial Aotian Palace, a place suspended between time and creation, Jian Aotian held his son for the first time.

His robe was plain white.

His hair tied carelessly.

His expression calm.

Yet every breath he took carried enough force to erase a world.

He looked down at the small infant in his arms—tiny, wrapped in silk, eyes closed.

"Wuya," Aotian whispered.

The heavens shook again.

A thin crack spread across the sky—

a hairline fracture in the fabric of creation itself.

The heavens were… looking.

Trying to inspect the child.

Trying to understand what had been born into the universe.

Trying to identify a presence that did not belong.

Aotian raised one hand.

The crack sealed instantly.

As if reality was afraid of him.

He looked down at the baby again.

"You aren't allowed to exist," he murmured.

"And yet… here you are."

Wuya stirred gently.

Aotian pressed two fingers onto the baby's chest.

A silent spark of power sank into Wuya's soul.

The God-Level Growth Sub-System

—not a gift, but a fragment of Aotian's own destiny from another world… Earth.

No notification.

No voice.

No interface.

Just a seed.

A potential.

A promise.

Then Aotian extended his hand again, drawing three glowing rays of ancient light.

He placed them carefully into Wuya's tiny body.

Three Great Paths:

Essence Path

Spirit Path

World Path

These would not awaken early.

They would not give cheap strength.

They would grow only when Wuya earned them.

And because of that… they would surpass all other Daos.

---

The Heaven That Watches

The palace dimmed.

Time slowed.

A heavy, formless presence gathered above the roof, descending like a shadow without shape.

Heaven's Will had arrived.

Aotian turned his head slightly.

"You dare return?"

The presence pressed harder.

Searching.

Probing.

Trying to locate Wuya's essence.

Aotian stepped outside the birthing chamber.

Behind him, the child remained untouched.

He raised his palm—

Heaven froze.

Stars dimmed.

Clouds stilled.

The sky turned silent.

Aotian spoke softly:

"You are forbidden to see him."

The heavenly presence vanished instantly, like mist under a burning sun.

But Aotian's eyes didn't soften.

"They will try again," he murmured.

"And again."

"And once more after that."

As Wuya's existence grew, so too would the suspicion.

The heavens did not tolerate anomalies.

Especially not one born of a man who once walked the River of Time and Space, who explored the Outer Universe, who fought beside Great Pangu God, and who shattered countless ancient rules.

Wuya could not stay here.

Not even for a year.

Not even for a month.

Not even for a single week.

---

The Arrival of Jian Tianhai

A heavy step echoed beyond the hall.

Jian Tianhai—Aotian's older brother—strode into the chamber.

His aura was sharp, heavy, and violent enough to shatter mountains.

But before Aotian, even he stepped lightly.

Tianhai looked at the child.

And his expression changed.

"…Aotian," he whispered, "the air around him… obeys him."

Aotian nodded.

"He carries something the world has never seen."

Tianhai's eyes trembled.

"Heaven cracked twice. I felt the shockwaves from three realms away."

"They fear him," Aotian replied.

"And that fear will kill him if he remains here."

Tianhai drew a deep breath.

"Then I will prepare the path."

He waved his hand.

A projection formed—

a small, distant mortal world hidden beneath natural laws so weak the divine would never look at it.

A world where heaven's senses could not penetrate.

Where no immortal cared to go.

Where no ancient being would bother searching.

Perfect for hiding.

---

Xueyi's Destiny Awakens

A soft cry echoed from a side chamber.

A nurse entered with a newborn girl wrapped in white silk.

Tianhai's daughter.

Xueyi.

Her hair was pale, almost silver.

A faint crescent mark glowed on her chest.

Aotian's brow lifted.

"That seal… Moonveil?"

Tianhai nodded slowly.

"I don't know who placed it. Or why."

Aotian approached.

The seal flickered in the presence of Wuya.

Threadlike strands of destiny shimmered between the two children—

subtle, silent, undeniable.

"They are tied," Aotian said quietly.

"At the root of fate."

Tianhai closed his eyes.

"…Then she must follow him."

Aotian didn't argue.

Some destinies could not be separated.

---

The Decision He Could Not Avoid

The sky shook again.

Aotian could feel it—

the heavens were adjusting their rules.

Trying new angles.

Searching from different directions.

Growing curious.

Growing bold.

"This is the last night he can stay here," Aotian said.

Tianhai nodded grimly.

"I will escort them myself."

Aotian looked down at Wuya, memorizing every detail—the tiny hands, the soft breath, the calm eyes.

He touched the child's forehead.

His voice faintly trembled.

"My son… you will grow where even I cannot reach.

You will struggle, bleed, rise, fall, and rise again.

And when you return…"

He looked up, eyes cold enough to freeze the heavens.

"…even they will bow before you."

---

The Departure Through Realms

The ancient teleportation formation activated.

Its runes were carved by Pangu himself—

thick, ancient, heavy, alive.

Tianhai stepped inside carrying Xueyi.

Aotian approached, holding Wuya for the final moment.

He kissed Wuya's forehead softly.

"Grow slow… so that when you grow fast, nothing can stop you."

He placed the child in Tianhai's arms.

The formation roared.

Light surged.

Space twisted.

Realities trembled.

The children vanished.

Tianhai vanished.

Silence.

Only Aotian remained.

Alone beneath a quiet heaven that feared him—

yet feared his son even more.

---

The Mortal World

A burst of light tore open a quiet valley.

Tianhai appeared with two infants, breathing hard but relieved.

He placed Wuya and Xueyi on soft blankets within a small wooden cottage he crafted from spiritual wood.

Wind whispered.

Grass swayed.

A peaceful silence settled around them—a silence that belonged only to mortals.

Tianhai kneeled.

He touched Wuya's forehead with one finger.

"Remember these realms," he whispered, even though the child couldn't yet comprehend:

Tianhai exhaled slowly.

"You will climb them all."

He turned to Xueyi.

"And you… will walk beside him."

He stepped back from the cradle.

"I swear upon my life—I will watch over you both."

Then he vanished into the wind, leaving no trace.
