Chapter 114 - Who Dares Say Ningguang and Beidou Don't Get Along? I'll Tear Their Mouth!

Magical Devil Fruits, powerful Sword Cultivation Scrolls, mysterious Dragon Balls...

Those things were already shocking enough.

But now, this luxurious, domineering ship had appeared. A ship of massive proportions.

Ningguang couldn't fathom what else Felix's jars might contain.

How did a ship of this size come out of a jar?

She had opened jars herself. She knew the process. Some items started small and expanded when touched or activated.

But the Steam Battleship docked in Liyue Harbor was colossal. Its scale exceeded the Jar Shop itself.

Felix's shop was known for magical, incredible gadgets. She had accepted that some items were beyond comprehension.

But this... this was a leap from "magical trinket" to "industrial revolution."

This wasn't just a ship. It was a tier above any vessel she knew.

With just one glance, she could confirm that this Steam Battleship completely outclassed The Alcor.

Beidou couldn't have found this. Nor could she have built it.

Only the mysterious Jar Shop could explain its existence.

"Mhm."

Hearing Keqing's analysis, Ningguang nodded in agreement.

It aligned with her own thoughts.

This ship was undoubtedly Beidou's prize from the jars.

Liyue's current shipwrights—or indeed, any shipwrights in Teyvat—couldn't build something of this scale and material.

Many of the mechanisms on the deck were completely foreign to her.

She believed the appearance of this ship was similar in nature to the finance book she had pulled. Both were game-changers that elevated their respective fields to a new level.

Only the Jar Shop held such power.

"No wonder so many people are gathered here. It truly is a domineering vessel."

"Indeed. Calling it a ship feels inadequate. It's clearly superior."

"Amazing. The Jar Shop is truly miraculous."

Behind them, the three secretaries—Bai Wen, Bai Shi, and Bai Xiao—were equally stunned.

Seeing the ship in person made them understand the commotion. If they were civilians, they would be gawking too.

"Since the Jar Shop can provide such things, it means we can obtain them too," Keqing narrowed her eyes, her mind racing. "If Liyue's merchant fleet were upgraded to this standard... we would be the undisputed masters of the ocean."

Keqing saw the bigger picture.

Beidou pulling this ship meant it was possible for others.

If they could secure more... Liyue's commerce would explode.

"Captain Beidou obtaining this ship is a huge boon for Liyue," Keqing whispered. "Much of our shipping relies on Snezhnaya's vessels. Their ships are sturdy, but compared to this? They're toys."

"Beidou now commands this Battleship alongside the Alcor. With these two leviathans, Liyue's maritime security is guaranteed. We need not fear any threat from the sea."

"Even if we crush the Northland Bank and Snezhnaya retaliates by withdrawing their trade fleet to crash our economy, this ship alone could fill the void. Our recovery would be swift."

In seconds, Keqing had analyzed the geopolitical implications.

Just sitting in the harbor, the ship projected power. Once activated, it would be unstoppable.

Keqing made up her mind.

After inspecting the ship, she would visit the Jar Shop.

Not to open jars, but to ask a question that had been plaguing her.

She felt the mysterious Shopkeeper was the only one who could answer it.

"Let's go take a look," Ningguang said softly. "We've never inspected a ship like this. The exterior tells us little. We need to see the inside to understand its true capabilities."

"Agreed."

Keqing nodded.

They approached the gangway.

On the deck, Beidou had just finished her exterior inspection and was about to head below when she saw Ningguang and Keqing approaching.

"I didn't expect the Tianquan and Yuheng to visit personally," Beidou laughed heartily, leaning over the railing. "I haven't broken any laws this time, have I?"

"I came because I heard the commotion," Ningguang replied calmly, looking up at Beidou. "May we come aboard? You pulled this from the Jar Shop, didn't you? Could you give us a tour?"

"Of course!"

Beidou agreed instantly.

She knew she couldn't hide the ship's origin from Ningguang. The Tianquan was one of Felix's first customers.

Although she and Ningguang often clashed, Beidou couldn't deny that Ningguang had done an excellent job governing Liyue. The city's prosperity was largely due to her efforts.

Beidou didn't oppose Ningguang for the sake of it. She simply prioritized her crew and her freedom.

Ningguang's personal dislike of her methods didn't change the fact that they were both protectors of Liyue.

Refusing Ningguang here would be petty. Beidou was magnanimous.

"Holy sh*t! Did you see that? Lady Ningguang and Lady Keqing boarded the ship!"

"Who keeps saying they hate each other? If I hear that again, I'll tear their mouth! Does that look like hate? They look like old friends!"

"Maybe the other rumor is true. The one that says Ningguang secretly backs the Crux Fleet. One rules the land, the other rules the sea..."

"I think it's normal for the Tianquan to inspect a new super-ship."

"I wanna go too..."

The crowd buzzed with speculation as they watched the leaders disappear onto the deck. Everyone looked on with envy.

Inside the Ship:

"This is a Steam Battleship. Calling it a 'boat' feels wrong," Beidou explained as she led Ningguang into the interior. "I pulled it from the Jar Shop. It's a tier above standard vessels."

"This mechanism loads the missiles... or projectiles."

"This controls the bilge pumps."

Beidou guided them through the corridors, explaining the functions she had just learned from the manual.

Ningguang and Keqing listened with intense interest, their eyes scanning every detail.

Behind them, the three secretaries gasped and exclaimed like country bumpkins seeing the city for the first time.

They toured the ship from stern to bow.

Outside, the sun began to set. The fiery glow of twilight painted the sky red, signaling the end of the day.

Seeing the encroaching darkness, Beidou smiled and flipped a switch on the wall.

Click.

Instantly, the Steam Battleship erupted with brilliant white light. Floodlights mounted along the hull and superstructure blazed to life, cutting through the dusk.

In an instant, the surrounding harbor waters were illuminated as bright as day. The reflection of the lights danced on the waves, casting a glow over half the harbor.

Under the night sky, the ship shone like a lighthouse, a beacon of modernity.

"So beautiful..."

"It looks even better at night!"

"I was worried I wouldn't be able to see it in the dark, but it's lit up like a festival!"

The citizens cheered. The ship was not just powerful; it was stunning.

Out at Sea:

"Holy crap! What is that thing? Is that a ship?"

An ocean-going merchant vessel was slowly approaching Liyue Harbor.

From the crow's nest, a sailor stared slack-jawed at the glowing behemoth docked ahead.

It looked like a ship, but... wrong.

He didn't see any wood.

If it wasn't made of wood, how did it float?

And the lights! It was blindingly bright compared to the oil lamps of the harbor.

Even from this distance, he felt a crushing sense of inferiority. His ship—a respectable, large merchant vessel—felt like garbage compared to the glowing steel titan ahead.
