Chapter 219 - The Drone Activates, Yoimiya Opens Jars, A Gun?!

"Remote-controlled drone."

Felix pointed at the drone's controller. "See this? This is used to control the aircraft."

"Try using this controller to fly it."

"The drone can fly far away from you. The built-in camera will transmit live footage back to the screen in your hands, allowing you to check the situation at any time."

"Of course, don't fly it too far out of range. You still need to control it."

"So magical."

Hu Tao looked intrigued. "Isn't this just a tracking device?"

To her, the drone was essentially a high-tech spy tool. Very interesting.

Being able to check the outside world from inside her house seemed incredibly convenient.

Hu Tao's eyes sparkled with excitement.

Why does Shenhe keep pulling such cool stuff?

"Mmh."

Shenhe looked at the drone with more interest after hearing Felix's explanation.

The Shopkeeper said it was interesting, so it must be.

"You should try operating it here first," Felix advised with a faint smile. "If you take it home and can't figure it out, you'll have to come back and ask me, and I might not be available."

If Shenhe didn't test it now, she'd be lost later.

The device was simple enough, but there was no instruction manual.

And unlike some magical items, this machine could break if crashed. It would be a pity to destroy it immediately.

"Okay," Shenhe nodded in agreement.

She picked up the drone.

Hu Tao, Yanfei, Yoimiya, Atsuko, and Midori all watched curiously as Shenhe unpacked the device.

They were all eager to see what this "aircraft" could do.

Under everyone's gaze, Shenhe placed the drone on the floor.

Following Felix's instructions, she pressed the power button.

The black screen on the controller flickered to life, showing a clear image of the shop's floor from the drone's perspective.

"Here, press this. This joystick controls movement. Just use your thumb," Felix guided her through the controls.

Shenhe nodded obediently.

Moments later, the drone on the floor began to whir. Its propellers spun up, and it slowly lifted into the air.

As it hovered, the image on the controller shifted.

Shenhe piloted the drone out the open door of the shop.

The screen now displayed a clear view of the street outside.

"Wow!"

Hu Tao and the others crowded around the screen, eyes wide.

It was their first time seeing such technology.

Yoimiya was especially stunned.

Inazuma doesn't have anything like this.

"Hm?"

Outside the shop, Wenqi and Doyle watched the strange buzzing object fly past them. They looked at each other.

What is that thing?

The Jar Shop really does produce weird stuff every day.

They didn't interfere, knowing better than to mess with the Shopkeeper's products.

The drone flew steadily into the Liyue street.

"Uh, what is that?"

"What the heck? It looks weird."

"It can fly? Is it a toy?"

"My Archons, what is that thing? It actually looks kind of cool."

Passersby stopped and stared at the flying machine.

Mechanical wings were rare enough, but a self-flying box?

"I saw it fly out of the Jar Shop."

"Oh, that explains it."

"But what is it? I'm curious."

"Who isn't? It looks like a mechanical bird. Someone must have gotten a good haul from the jars."

"I saw Director Hu go in with her dragon earlier."

"Oh, it's Director Hu? Never mind then. I'm not going near her."

"Do you have a problem with Director Hu?"

The crowd gossiped, pointing at the drone. Some, upon realizing Hu Tao might be involved, quickly walked away to avoid being sold a coffin.

Inside the Shop.

Yanfei stared at the controller, hearing the clear audio transmission from the street. Her eyes lit up. "This is too convenient! Not only video but audio too? This is amazing."

"Those guys..."

Hu Tao puffed out her cheeks.

She heard the pedestrians talking about avoiding her.

"Very interesting," Shenhe murmured while piloting the drone.

It was indeed fascinating.

Although she didn't need it for surveillance right now, it would be a fun toy for her downtime.

Overall, her haul today was excellent.

Food, flowers, a robot companion, and a drone.

"Thank you," Shenhe said earnestly to Felix as she landed the drone and packed it away carefully.

The items from this shop were truly unique.

"It's all your luck," Felix smiled. "You got good things because you were lucky. Though compared to some others, it's average."

Compared to Hu Tao, Ningguang, and Ganyu, Shenhe's luck was solid but not game-breaking (yet).

"So, Miss Yoimiya, are you opening jars?"

Felix turned his smiling gaze to the fireworks maker. "You can buy up to ten."

Shenhe was done. Yanfei and Hu Tao were capped.

Only Yoimiya remained.

"Yes!" Yoimiya nodded excitedly. "Of course I'm buying!"

After watching Shenhe's pulls, she was hooked.

Not buying would be a crime against curiosity.

She unhooked her mora pouch.

"Um... I don't have much cash on me," Yoimiya admitted, checking her funds. "I haven't collected the payment for the Liyue fireworks yet. I only have about 100,000 Mora right now. So... one jar for now."

"I'll go to the Ministry of Civil Affairs later to settle the account for the Lantern Rite fireworks. They haven't paid me yet."

She explained that she usually had Beidou handle the delivery and payment collection. Since she was stuck in Inazuma most of the time, she didn't need the cash urgently.

But now that she was in Liyue, she needed money.

She had thought 100,000 Mora was plenty for a while.

Who knew one jar cost exactly that much?

Once she got her payment from the Liyue government, she'd be rich. The Lantern Rite used a lotof fireworks.

"Eh?"

Yanfei looked shocked. "Yoimiya, did you say the Lantern Rite fireworks are bought from you?"

She couldn't believe it.

The Lantern Rite fireworks were massive in scale and quality.

To think they came from this girl?

Hu Tao also looked over with renewed interest.

This Pyro girl was definitely not simple.

"Yeah!" Yoimiya grinned. "I'm the current owner of Naganohara Fireworks in Inazuma. For years, Liyue has ordered fireworks from us for the Lantern Rite. Beidou usually transports them. You know Big Sis Beidou, right?"

"I didn't know that," Yanfei marveled.

That explained why Yoimiya was so confident in her craft. She supplied the biggest festival in Teyvat.

"Alright then, pick your jar," Felix chuckled, taking her money.

Yoimiya looked excitedly at the shelf.

She picked one.

It floated down and landed in front of her.

"Bang!"

She smashed it open without hesitation.

Atsuko and Midori leaned in.

A finger-sized, pitch-black object fell out.

Felix: "????"

His eyelid twitched.

A gun?!
