[ Location: Gryffindor Boys' Dormitory ][ Date: December 25th, 1991 - Christmas Morning ]
"Wake up!" Ron Weasley yelled, throwing a pillow at my face. "It's Christmas! Look at the loot!"
I caught the pillow with my mind inches from my nose and floated it gently back onto his bed.
"Morning, Weasley," I yawned, sitting up.
My breath misted in the air. The dormitory was freezing.
I looked at the foot of my bed. A small pile of packages sat there.
'I actually got presents? I'm an orphan with a fake identity. Who sent these?'
I grabbed the first one. A box of Chocolate Frogs from Hermione.
Note: Try not to get into trouble while I'm gone. And study for Nicholas Flamel! - H
I smiled. 'She misses me. Or she misses bossing me around. Probably both.'
There was a lumpy package from Mrs. Weasley (Ron must have added me to the list—that guy really was loyal once you fed him). It was a Weasley jumper. Emerald green with a silvery 'V' on it.
"I got a maroon one," Ron groaned, holding up his sweater. "Always maroon."
"Mine's green," I said, pulling it on. It was warm. It smelled like home. "I like it."
Shikamaru, on the other hand, had received... a pillow. A very high-quality, neck-supporting pillow.
"Best. Christmas. Ever," he mumbled, hugging it and going back to sleep.
"Hey, look at this!" Ron said, pointing at Harry.
Harry was holding a silvery, fluid fabric. It poured over his hands like water woven into light.
The Invisibility Cloak.
One of the three Deathly Hallows. An item that could hide you from Death himself.
'That right there,' I thought, staring at the fabric, 'is worth more points than I can count. Lloyd would sell his own kidney for a swatch of that.'
"It's an Invisibility Cloak," Ron breathed. "They're really very rare."
"Who sent it?" Harry asked, looking for a note.
"Use it well," Harry read the unsigned card.
'Dumbledore. The old chess master moving his pawns.'

The Weasley twins were currently engaged in a war crime against Professor Quirrell. They were bewitching snowballs to bounce off the back of his turban.
"Direct hit!" Fred cheered.
"Ten points to Gryffindor!" George laughed.
I stood on the sidelines, watching.
'Poor Voldemort. Being pelted with frozen water by teenagers while stuck on the back of a stuttering man's head. The Dark Lord really hit rock bottom.'
"Hey, Vivan!" Fred yelled. "Think you can beat us?"
I smirked. 'New Perk Multitasking. Let's use it for a spin.'
I didn't bend down to make a snowball. I just stared at the snowdrift.
'Form.'
[ Ability Active: Telekinesis (Multitasking). ]
Three distinct snowballs formed in the air. They compacted, hardening into ice-packed spheres.
"Three?" George blinked. " I hate your wandless magic!."
"Dodge," I said casually.
Whoosh.
I sent the three snowballs flying in different arcs. One went high, one went wide left, one went wide right.
The twins laughed. "You missed!"
"Did I?"
I flicked my finger.
The snowballs stopped in mid-air behind them. They reversed direction.
SPLAT. SPLAT. SPLAT.
They hit Fred in the back of the head, George in the ear, and—just for fun—knocked the beanie off Lee Jordan's head.
"Wicked!" Lee yelled.

Harry was sneaking out. I knew he would. He wanted to find Flamel in the Restricted Section.
I waited until he left the common room under the cloak, then I slipped out the portrait hole.
I didn't have a cloak. But I had Metamorphmagus.
I concentrated. My skin darkened to match the stone shadows. My clothes shifted color to blend with the tapestries ( Thanks to system shop I found these clothes which can change shape and colour according to my need for 10 points). It wasn't invisibility, but in the dark corridors of Hogwarts, it was close enough.
I followed the soft footfalls of the invisible Harry.
He almost got caught by Filch. He almost got caught by Snape.
And then, he found the room.
An unused classroom. Desks piled high. And in the center, a magnificent mirror with clawed feet.
The Mirror of Erised.
Harry dropped the cloak. He stood in front of it.
I watched from the doorway, keeping to the shadows.
Harry gasped. He reached out, touching the glass. He was seeing them. James and Lily. His family.
He sat there for what felt like hours, just staring.
'It's a trap, Harry,' I thought sadly. 'It doesn't show the future. It shows the impossible.'
Finally, Harry left, promising the empty room he'd come back.
I waited until his footsteps faded.
Then, I stepped into the room.
The Mirror stood tall, the inscription carved around the top: Erised stra ehru oyt ube cafru oyt on wohsi.
'I show not your face but your heart's desire.'
"Well," I whispered to the empty room. "Let's see what I wants."
I stepped in front of the glass.
My reflection appeared.
I looked... older. Taller. I was wearing a suit, not robes. I looked powerful. Confident.
But it wasn't just me.
Standing next to me was El. She was older too, smiling, eating an Eggo. On my other side was Hermione, holding a thick book but looking up at me with that knowing smile. Will was there, drawing a comic. Mike, Lucas, Dustin...and more shadows..
And behind them... my parents from my first life. And my parents from the Stranger Things world.
Everyone look safe. Everyone was happy.
And in my hand...
I was holding a small, blue and red glowing cube. A Tesseract? No. its something else....
And we are all in Upside down!!
'I want to go home, but why upside down' I realized, a lump forming in my throat.
"Interesting," a voice said from the shadows.
I spun around, my wand snapping up (though I had a Telekinesis grip ready on a nearby desk).
Albus Dumbledore sat on a desk in the corner, eating something from a small bag.
"Professor," I lowered my wand. "I... uh... sleepwalking?"
"An impressive bout of sleepwalking that involves camouflage skills," Dumbledore's eyes twinkled behind his half-moon spectacles. "Sherbet Lemon?"
"No thanks," I said.
"What do you see, Vivan?" Dumbledore asked softly.
"I see a lot of people," I said honestly. "People I want to protect."
"A noble desire," Dumbledore nodded. "But this mirror gives us neither knowledge nor truth. Men have wasted away before it, entranced by what they see."
He stood up.
"Harry has found this mirror too. I suspect he will return. I shall move it tomorrow to a new home."
He looked at me piercingly.
"You are a peculiar student, Mr. Frostwell. You possess abilities like wandless magic(Telekinesis)... do not fit the standard curriculum."
My heart stopped. 'He knows.'
"I was born with it and I just pay attention, Professor," I said carefully.
"Indeed," Dumbledore smiled enigmatically. "Attention is a powerful form of magic. Off to bed now."
I turned to leave.
"Oh, and Vivan?"
I paused at the door.
"If you ever find that... What... you saw in the mirror," Dumbledore said softly. "Use it wisely."
I froze. 'He saw my reflection???'
I didn't answer. I just nodded and walked out.
I walked back to the dorms, the image of my parents and the older, happy El and Hermione burned into my mind.
'One day,' I promised myself.
'But What did old man see?'
