Ten years later.

Rosa was seventeen, and she was exactly as terrifying as I'd predicted.

She stood at the head of the Commission conference table not sitting, standing, commanding the room like she was born to it presenting her analysis of potential West Coast expansion.

"San Francisco is the logical choice," she said, pointing to the map on the screen. "Tech money, established port access, minimal organized crime presence. We could establish operations within six months with minimal resistance."

"You're suggesting we expand across the country?" Connor asked. He looked older now, grey in his beard, but still sharp. "That's ambitious."

"The Commission has been regional for too long. We have the infrastructure, the resources, the connections. It's time to go national. Truly national."

"And you think we can manage operations from New York?" Wei Chen asked.
