A man in his 50's was sitting near a snack truck. He was sipping on his coffee. Then some more people came. Two of them are at his age.
Others are also near his age but younger. They are all getting snacks and talking among them. They seem to know each other. They are wearing weapons like gun or stick. One of them, a young boy is carrying a good looking sword.
The elderly man look at the boy and then at the sky. Another elderly man came and sat down beside him.
The first is called Bruno, a swordmanship coaching master. The second one is Ruso, a spearmanship coaching master.
Ruso looked at Bruno and asked, "What happened? What are you thinking?"
Bruno come out of his thoughts. Still looking at the sky he answered, "What am I thinking? Many things. Past, memories, problems."
Ruso smirked, "Yeah! I thought so. You are a overthinking machine. My old friend."
Bruno smiled, "His eyes wet! What did I achieve in my life?"
Ruso, " Many things you know. Experience, memories."
Bruno, " Memories! Yeah! All bad only!"
Ruso, " Humans only remember the bad things only."
Bruno, " I can't fight with you like this. Your life is better than mine!"
Ruso, " How? We both got married! Your wife left while mine stayed. But now I have to fulfill my responsibilities. And you got the luxuries of freedom."
Bruno, " Yeah? But why this freedom feel...so..so lonely!"
Ruso, " That's why I told you all the time to come to my house to enjoy."
Bruno, " You know your wife and children don't like me. On top of that your daughter in law is pragnant."
Ruso, " Good thing you remind me. Her delivery is soon. But still... It all feel like a dream still now. Anime fantasy."
Bruno, " I know. If this didn't happen, we were probably were doing animation till now."
Ruso, " Yeah!!"
Then suddenly someone said in a microphone, [Hunters! Please prepare! The gate is going to open soon.]
Bruno and Ruso stands up. They looked at the sky. Magical formation is appearing in the sky. As the formation complete, a huge gate fall on the land. The gate destroyed and only a vortex of cosmos remain.
Ruso, " Bruno. This is my last hunt. I am going to be a grandpa today. Let's end this D class gate!"
Bruno smiled, " Quite selfish of you. As usual!"
Bruno goes through the vortex of cosmos with Ruso and others.
They appear in a jungle. But as soon as they appear they got ambushed.
A huge number of arrows rained on them. But they were also prepared. Three people came out of them and shout, " Gardian's shield."
The layers of round shield covered them all over.
But then they ground they were standing on start to trambled.
Someone shout, "Is it? A earthquake?"
Bruno's mind raced. ' earthquake? At this time? At this place? No! Something is wrong!"
And probably he wasn't the only one who thought that.
"Everyone run!" A young voice shouted. It was the same young man. The boy who carried a good looking sword with him. He was the son of a former S rank class owner hunter. And also he was the team leader for this hunting mission.

But they couldn't run. Cause the land under their feet vanished and they fall.

Bruno wakes up by the call of Ruso. Ruso said immediately, "You won't change even in your death bed. Always lazy. Eating and sleeping."
Bruno didn't say anything. The young leader, Yana said, "From now on we need to be top of our senses. I don't think it is a D rank gate anymore."
With this everyone panicked.
Someone said, "What? What are you saying? Not a D class gate?"
Someone else said, "I thought so! D ranks are straight. It have a starting mission. But does not have one. It is probably a malfunctioning gate. It's true rank probably above A rank. One more thing. People started to walk. Their hands on their gun. Bruno grab his iron sword strongly. Russo is grabbing his wooden spear. Except the head, everything is wood.
Ruso, " Brun, I am feeling anxious. With these low level weapons.. can we even.. survive?"
Bruno grab his shoulder to give him courage.
After an hour they finally reached a gate. In their path, there was no monster till now. So they were just exhausted by walking.
Yano said, " We will take a little break before going in the gate."
Someone else asked, " Why? Can't we just get out? We didn't encounter any monster till now. Maybe we can get out now through this gate."
Yuno said in high voice, " It's preciously cause of that. We didn't encounter any entity in our path. That's why I am sure. There is a huge problem after this gate. Now rest and prepare both mentally and physically."
Everyone understood his words and sit down. Someone even laid down.
After nearly half an hour;
Everyone of them are prepared now. The young leader looked at his group and goes towards the gate. As he forced, the gate open up.
