Chapter 192 - Chapter 192: Return to the Wizarding World

In the pirate world, being able to cut through steel with a blade was considered the sign that a swordsman had truly stepped into the ranks.

And being able to unleash a long-range flying slash—that was the mark of a master swordsman.

A master swordsman was already a rare powerhouse on the seas. A great master swordsman was an even more exceptional existence among them, each with their own distinct style.

Sometimes it was a legendary record of battles, sometimes it was a famed blade worn at their side, sometimes it was terrifying mastery of Haki…

The man in front of them hadn't made a name for himself—yet. But that sword forged from lightning, and those horrifying slashes infused with thunder, made one thing clear:

This was no ordinary master swordsman. He had unquestionably reached the level of a great master swordsman!

Damn it!

Who is this guy? I don't remember the Arlong Pirates ever making an enemy of a great master swordsman!

By now, Arlong was certain the person in front of him was not Nami. Even if Nami had somehow eaten the Rumble-Rumble Fruit, there was no way she could possess swordsmanship this terrifying in such a short time.

So this "Nami" had to be a stranger—some unknown powerhouse disguised as her.

As for how that person managed to take Nami's appearance, Arlong didn't even want to investigate.

On a sea full of miracles, abilities like that were everywhere.

What he wanted now was simple: make peace with this great master swordsman, even if dozens of fish-men had already been killed.

Because if this kept going—if this monster swung a few more times—the Arlong Pirates would be wiped out to the last man.

Thinking that, Arlong hurriedly looked at "Nami," his voice turning desperate.

"Unknown powerhouse… I don't know how the Arlong Pirates offended you, but if you're willing to spare us, we'll pay any price!"

Harry looked at the pleading Arlong with cold indifference—and didn't stop.

He swung again, releasing two more flying slashes tens of meters tall.

The two strikes cut down over half the fish-men in an instant, bodies severed at the waist.

Seeing that Harry had no intention of stopping, Arlong clenched his fists so hard his teeth ground audibly. But for the sake of his fish-man brothers, he suddenly dropped to his knees and slammed his head down in a deep bow.

"N-no… don't kill my brothers. I… I'm begging you. Please spare them!"

Harry swung again—two more flying slashes.

This time, nearly every remaining fish-man besides Arlong was cut down.

Then Harry walked forward slowly, stopping right in front of Arlong. His voice was flat, merciless.

"No. You don't regret what you did."

"You just realized you're about to die."

With that, he brought his blade down.

Arlong—driven into a frenzy now that his brothers were gone—tried to counterattack, but his body suddenly went rigid.

In the next heartbeat, he split cleanly in two. A flood of blood and torn viscera spilled out.

A transparent shield surrounded Nami's body, blocking every drop. Not a speck of blood could pass through it to stain her.

Afterward, Harry continued deeper into the base, hunting down and killing the remaining stragglers.

At last, he stopped before the final fish-man. He raised his sword to strike—

And suddenly, Nami's shout rang out inside his mind.

"Wait!"

Harry paused, frowning slightly.

"What is it, Nami? This is the last one."

He could feel the conflict in her emotions: a trace of hatred, but far more rational clarity. She took a deep breath and spoke in a low, steady voice.

"We need to leave one alive. He has to spread the news that the Arlong Pirates were in bed with the Marine 16th Branch. Otherwise, even if you wipe out Arlong's crew, after you're gone I'll still get a bounty on my head and be hunted by the Marines."

Harry nodded, agreeing with her. Still, he lifted a finger and fired a thread of white lightning, striking the octopus Fish-Man's limbs and stripping him of the ability to resist.

That way, there would be no surprises.

Then Harry used telekinesis to lift the octopus Fish-Man's body and carried him toward Cocoyasi Village.

After leaving Arlong Park for a while, Nami finally came back to herself, truly realizing what had just happened.

In her inner world, she couldn't stop herself from sobbing, her voice trembling.

"Harry… thank you. Really, thank you. If it weren't for you, I might never have escaped Arlong's control for my entire life.

You didn't just save me—you saved Cocoyasi Village. I'll never forget what you've done for me."

Harry flashed a bright smile, his tone gentle and warm.

"Nami, you don't have to be so formal. Though if you really want to thank me… you can help me collect some Devil Fruits in this world. I'm very interested in that kind of extraordinary plant with supernatural power."

Nami didn't hesitate for even a second, her voice still thick with tears.

"Of course. I'll set sail soon, and I'll find those Devil Fruits for you!"

As they neared Cocoyasi Village, Harry suddenly stopped, brows knitting.

Without realizing it, this dreamwalk had already reached its limit. He needed to withdraw his consciousness.

Before leaving, he smiled and replied,

"Since you're willing to help me collect Devil Fruits, I should give you something in return.

After this, I'll pass some of my power to you. It won't be as strong as when I use it myself, but it'll be enough for you to protect yourself—at the very least, enough to defeat someone on Arlong's level."

Hearing that, Nami's joy surged so violently she almost couldn't believe it. She covered her mouth, terrified that everything happening was just a dream.

To go from a weak, fragile girl to someone strong enough to defeat Arlong… it was a transformation like night and day.

She hurriedly asked,

"Y-you really want to pass your power to me? That's… that's amazing!"

But after waiting, she heard no answer.

And only then did she realize—somehow—she had regained control of her body.

If she'd been able to take her body back the moment Harry seized control, she would have been ecstatic.

But now, after learning he meant no harm—after he had helped her defeat Arlong—she felt strangely hollow.

And she couldn't help worrying.

What if all of this really was just a dream?

Then she felt it.

A scorching warm current began flowing through her body, surging and circulating again and again.

That warm current was the very medium Harry had used to cast magic before.

At the same time, Harry's voice sounded in her mind.

"Time's up. I'm heading back. Later, I'll set up a cross-dimensional group chat to stay in touch. And I'll introduce you to a companion, too—I think you'll be very interested in her world."

Nami's whole body shuddered. Her eyes were already wet before she even realized it.

"So it's real… it wasn't a dream. Thank goodness…"

Just then, several figures came running in from the distance with pitchforks in hand—the villagers of Cocoyasi Village.

Leading them was Nami's older sister, Nojiko. The moment she saw Nami was unharmed, she let out a long breath of relief and rushed forward to wrap her in a fierce hug.

But at that exact moment, Nojiko heard the villagers cry out in shock:

"That's—Hachi, one of the Arlong Pirates' officers!"

Harry's soul was yanked by overwhelming force, torn away from the distant pirate world and hurled back into the boundless multiverse.

When he opened his eyes again, he was back in the familiar training room.

The moment he woke, a violent stab of pain slammed into his skull.

As expected—even for him—crossing that impossible distance to reach another world was exhausting.

Harry steadied his breathing, focused his mind, and began to meditate. After a short while, when the pain finally eased, he stood up.

By then, the dense rune array on the floor had already shattered from overload. The remaining materials had crumbled into fine sand.

Harry instructed Hedwig to record everything he'd learned, so he could keep refining his cross-world dreamwalking later.

After a day of rest, he continued working on the construction of his floating city—and began building a cross-dimensional group chat that could connect different worlds.

Refining cross-world dreamwalking was relatively simple. Harry felt that once he prepared thoroughly, did a few more dreamwalks, and gathered enough data, he'd be able to complete it.

But the cross-dimensional group chat was different. Building it required a stable flow of information, and the primordial force used as a substitute for information transfer was inherently unstable.

So even though Harry could already influence that primordial chaos power, he still couldn't create a stable cross-dimensional group chat.

Before long, however, he thought of a way to solve it.

If he could create a stable carrier inside the wizarding world—where chaos magic was everywhere—then maybe he could use that carrier to establish a signal-stable cross-dimensional group chat.

The instant that idea formed, Harry thought of the best possible option for the carrier.

Ancient magic, combined with runes, to create a sufficiently stable magical construct—just like the Deathly Hallows.

At the same time, Harry also needed to return to the wizarding world to deal with the basilisk problem.

After all, Parseltongue had already been fully analyzed.

So Harry pushed open the training room door, using it as a medium—and returned to the wizarding world.

The process was the same as always.

The environment gradually drained of color until even the final outlines peeled away. It felt like drawing on a blank white canvas as all things were sketched back into existence, reassembled and restored before his eyes.

When his vision sharpened again, he was already inside his dormitory.

Wearing a faint smile, he casually returned to his bed and sat down, then opened the window to tease Hedwig as she fluttered in.

Ron came over, glancing around warily. After confirming the other three roommates weren't paying attention, he lowered his voice.

"Harry… do you think the professors can really solve this? In Hogwarts legends, that thing was a basilisk raised by Slytherin. It has to be a terrifying magical creature!"

Harry reassured him.

"Relax. Dumbledore might not be weaker than Slytherin—and besides, there are other professors too. They'll handle the basilisk perfectly."

That was what he said, but Harry didn't actually feel certain at all.

Otherwise, he wouldn't have gone out into the multiverse to analyze Parseltongue in the first place.

Because from what he could sense, this wasn't an ordinary basilisk.

A layer of incredibly violent chaos magic seemed to cling to its scales.

If his guess was right…

That was ancient magic from the wizarding world.
