Raiden and Finn clearly understood what Mira meant.
Lionel's death had to have a reasonable explanation. It couldn't be tied to George.
Raiden quickly said, "We were surrounded by Obsidian Wraiths. Lionel tried to protect us, and that's how he died."
"Yeah. I'll report it honestly to the higher-ups," Finn quickly added.
They all knew that Mira was trying to get close to George.
Plus, they didn't like Lionel. He used his family's power in the Frost Alliance to act like a bully. He was dead, and it probably wouldn't matter to the higher-ups.
Mira nodded in satisfaction. She looked at George and asked cautiously, "This tunnel leads to the second layer of the Obsidian Shrine. There are 50-level Obsidian Wraiths in there. Do you think you can handle them?"
They had tried the second layer before, but they couldn't beat the Wraiths. They had to retreat.
"Let's try," George said.
