Jill walks into the hall, where a lot of people in unusually expensive outfits are chatting with each other. They all look like big shots from the other worlds; some look like orcs, others like elves and dark elves, and some like beings she has never laid eyes upon before. She didn't know who to start talking with until she heard a silent voice from her left ear.
"Hey!"
Jill turned to see a face she wasn't expecting to see, the elf queen, Sheimer Ulrath.
"Elf Queen??" Jill quietly said.
Sheimer smiled at her as Jill walked towards her, followed by Clad and Adonis. She shook the queen's hand and greeted her back.
"When I saw your father in the first meeting, I expected him to show up to the second one as well, not his daughter."
Jill laughed at her comment before they started talking about more political subjects.
"It's my first time here, so I hope you can help me make good connections."
"Don't worry,"
"If you need any help, you can ask me anytime," Sheimer said, which they both calmly laughed at.
At the same time, Clad and Adonis were watching from a few feet away, and they didn't step in as Jill and the Elf queen seemed to be enjoying their conversation from Clad's point of view. After all, the queen was a pretty calm person.
"Seems like Jill won't need help for this." He muttered to Adnonis.
"Yeah," Adonis replied.
"Well, if something happens, call for me, I'll be walking around," Clad told him.
"Got it."
While Jill and Sheimer were having a conversation, Clad surprisingly ran into Drohas, but he couldn't tell it was him because he's blind.
"Thank the heavens he's blind!"
"I don't feel like talking to the guy who tried to kill me for cash right now!" Clad thought as he rapidly walked away from him while he took food from that table.
"Wow, that tastes really good. What's the food I'm holding called?" Drohas asked.
"It's pizza, sir."
"Do you mind sharing the cooking recipe for this 'pizza' thing?" he muttered to the chef.
"s-sure..."
"Appreciate it!" Drohas said as he left the table with a slice in his mouth, smiling at the woman, which gave her the creeps.
