Chapter 10 - CHAPTER 9 — DAWN OF A DIVINE ERA

A Year of Peace After the Divine Intervention

A full year passed after Razeon's divine intervention healed the dying empire.

The land recovered slowly but steadily.

The skies that once carried the ash of war now shone clear, and praise to Razeon, Aevis, and Elowen rose every morning from temples, villages, and cities.

For the first time in centuries, peace did not feel fragile.

It felt blessed. The Twin Dragon Brothers Begin Raising the Ten Elemental Eggs

In the Divine Beast Realm, Vaelstrom and Drakarion devoted themselves to raising the ten elemental dragon eggs Aevis had created.

For a hundred years—compressed within the realm where time flowed differently—they bathed the eggs in:

divine spiritual herbs

elemental springs

and refined dragon aura

The brothers guarded the eggs with solemn pride, knowing that the future of the dragon race rested in their claws. The Ten Elemental Eggs Hatch

One fateful day, the eggs cracked with radiant bursts of power.

Ten young dragons emerged—each glowing with the essence of a different elemental Spirit King or Queen:

Flame

Frost

Gale

Stone

Tide

Bolt

Bloom

Eclipse

Radiance

Tempest

Vaelstrom and Drakarion immediately informed Aevis, who descended from his throne to greet the newborn dragons personally.Aevis Brings the Dragons Before Razeon

Aevis transported the dragon brothers and the ten elemental infants to the God Realm.

There, all of them bowed before Razeon—the True God who stood above all creation.

"Great One," Aevis said, "please grant these children their names… and guidance."

Razeon smiled gently and raised a hand.

One by one, he named them:

Pyrrhalis — Flame

Glaciaryn — Frost

Zephyron — Gale

Terravrex — Stone

Aqualora — Tide

Voltaryx — Bolt

Floraviel — Bloom

Umbrosyne — Eclipse

Lumenaris — Radiance

Tempestria — Tempest

Then Razeon spoke:

"Train them under the Ten Elemental Spirit Kings and Queens in the Spirit Realm.

Let their training last one hundred years, until their hearts and elements become one.

After that, they may live in the mortal world, guide future dragon clans, and form a kingdom blessed by both Aevis and myself."

Aevis bowed deeply.

Vaelstrom and Drakarion roared in oath, accepting the sacred duty.

Thus, the ten elemental dragons were carried to the Spirit Realm for their century-long training. The Holy Empire's Crisis of Leadership

Meanwhile, in the mortal realm, peace brought new problems.

Aevis, now a Dragon God, could no longer serve as Lord of the Holy Empire.

Razeon's divine decree made it clear:

"A God must guide the world—not rule a single nation."

Without Aevis, the Holy Council struggled.

Healers, nobles, scholars, and priests argued endlessly:

"We need a ruler chosen by the gods!"

"No mortal is worthy after Aevis!"

"Razeon must appoint another champion!"

But Razeon remained silent, watching and judging their hearts.

Arrival of Delegations From Distant Kingdoms

Nations from across the world traveled to the Holy Empire, offering alliances now that Razeon's faith was rising.

Beastfolk, dwarves, humans, and even ancient forest tribes sent representatives to pledge obedience to the True God and his divine order.

With no emperor, however, no agreements could be finalized. The Great Species Migration

Because the Holy Empire was now considered the "Lands Blessed by the True God," thousands migrated there seeking protection:

families from war-torn borders

craftsmen seeking holy blessings

refugees fleeing demon influence

The population nearly doubled.

The empire needed leadership more than ever.Holy Council Reform

Seeing the worsening situation, the high priests, generals, and sages restructured the Holy Council into:

The Council of Faith – clergy and priests

The Council of Law – judges and scholars

The Council of Shields – knights and army commanders

Together, they formed the Triune Holy Council.

Still, no single leader emerged.Holy Council Dilemma: Who Will Lead the Empire?

The debate continued for months.

Some wanted a military commander.

Some wanted a priest blessed by Elowen.

Some insisted only a descendant of old royal bloodlines could rule.

But no sign came from the heavens.

Then, after long discussion, the councils reached a unified decision—The Decision: The Empire Will Be Ruled by the Holy Council

Until Razeon chooses a new mortal leader, the Holy Empire will be governed by the Triune Holy Council.

The moment the announcement was made, peace returned to the capital.

People accepted the decision, believing it was spiritually guided.

After all, Razeon had not opposed it.

Construction of the New Holy Capital Begins

With new organization came a great vision.

The Council announced the building of a new capital worthy of Razeon—a city that would become:

the center of faith,

the axis of all races,

and the sanctuary of divine blessings.

Architects consulted divine patterns left behind by Aevis.

Healers invoked Elowen's symbol to bless hospitals.

Dragon worshippers built shrines honoring Aevis beside Razeon's grand temple.

The world had changed—gods walked among mortals again.Elowen's Desire for Servants

In her luminous Realm of Vital Spring, Elowen felt an instinct blooming in her divine heart.

"As Aevis has his children… perhaps I too should guide my own servants."

She approached Razeon humbly.

"Great One, may I create servants who will aid me in healing the world?"

Razeon granted permission with a gentle nod.

Elowen returned to her realm, knelt before a statue of Razeon, and prayed.

Then, using her divine essence, she shaped four servants from pure vitality and healing light:

Neralis — male, calm and wise, born of medicinal knowledge

Varen — male, swift and gentle, master of vitality flow

Seralyth — female, radiant, embodying renewal and cleansing

Liora — female, compassionate, healer of hearts and spirits

She then brought them before Razeon for naming and guidance.

Razeon blessed them and spoke:

"You may choose your role—serve beside Elowen, guide mortals in the healing arts, or walk other realms to spread vitality."

The servants bowed deeply, awaiting Elowen's will. The Return of the Faith Surge

As temples were built and prayers rose daily to:

Razeon,

Aevis the Dragon God,

and Elowen the Goddess of Medicine and Vitality,

a second wave of divine energy surged across the land.

Razeon felt it.

Aevis felt it.

Elowen felt it.

The world was entering a new era of gods.
