The sound filled my head as I slowly awoke, the light of the sun hitting my eyes as I groaned softly feeling the soft flesh on my body, memories of last night came rushing back as I wet my parched lip with my tongue.
I tilted my head to look at the body of the girl beside me, covered in a few love bites and pink marks.
*Shit, the drug must have been so potent last night*
I got out of bed hearing the ringing of my phone from my trouser pocket, I picked the phone.
"Get the car ready, I'll be down soon" after cutting the call I glanced at the girl on the bed, my eyes held a trace of complication and coldness especially when I saw the bright red stain on the bed.
I got dressed immediately and dropped a card with the password on it containing 2 million. I reached the door and for a moment hesitated, a wave of feeling I couldn't explain washed over me before I resolutely opened the door and left the room.
I headed to the elevator and left the hotel. A back limousine pulled up at the front and I got into the car.
"Boss-"
"Stop by the hospital first"
Lee's POV
I pulled up at the hospitals' parking lot, and looked at Ke.
"Won't be long" I got down fron the car, pulled on my glasses and headed straight into the hospital.
"Ah... Mr Lee, it's a pleasure to make your acquaintance today, how is the CEO doing?"
A middle aged doctor came around all smiles and flattering.
"Where is doctor Feng?"
"He's waiting for you in his office as we speak, here let's be on our way"
I headed towards the office when I thought I saw a familiar face, I stopped and my eyes widened slightly.
*Isn't that the girl boss slept with that night a month ago? What's she doing in a hospital*
"Mr Lee, is everything okay?"
The voice of the middle aged doctor brought me back, "Everything is fine, let's be on our way"
I headed down the hall and opened the door of the office. Sitting on the desk was the doctor Dennis Feng.
"You came? Has the last drug finished? "
"Yes doctor He, we've already tried to convince boss to come down to the hospital for a checkup, unfortunately he just doesn't listen"
"I'm still surprised that he is still taking medication for his illness, how has the insomnia been".
"He can't sleep more than 3 hours at night, ever since that night Mr Yang drugged him with aphrodisiac"
"Maybe I'll drop by one of this days but for the main time, give him this new drugs and see how it works"
I collected the bag and stood up. "I'll inform him of that" I turned around and left the office when I saw that young girl again, she was standing on front of the gynecological section ward holding some paper, my brows furrowed slightly, I lifted my leg to move to her when another girl came over to her and they engaged in some inaudible conversation before leaving together.
"Ah Mr Lee is everything okay?" The middle aged doctor from earlier walked over all smiles.
"Get me the files of that young lady that just left right now?"
"Y... Yes? The files? But Mr Lee I'm afraid, hospital's privacy—"
"This is important, the young lady is.. A family member of mine" I closed my eyes as I lied, *Boss the things I do for you*
"Ah of course, I'll do that immediately" the doctor turned around and immediately left.

I got into the car feeling shook and a bit excited. "What took you so long? I was beginning to think you got admitted instead, and why are you smiling like that? Did you get some pretty girls number" Ke winked as he smiled.
"Do you always have to think about women every single time?" I rolled my eyes in annoyance and gave him the files and the drugs as I started the car and drove off.
"What this?" he opened the files and looked through it before his eyes widened into sockets.
"This... This.... Is this true?"
I nodded with a small smirk.
"We have to get this to boss fast, and no one can know about this yet"
"Of course, we wouldn't want to put them in danger now"
As the car pulled up in the Li company, we got down and went in immediately to see boss, heading to the elevator, I looked around as we waited seeing the employees all moving and working a bit tensed and frigid. Thinking nothing about it I got into the elevator with Ke and headed up to the top floor. Once the elevator dinged and we stepped out, Ke turned to look at me.
"I need some coffee, you go see boss first"
I shrugged and turned around, seeing the atmosphere here even more chilling form the employee, *Is boss in a bad mood again?*
I opened the door of the office and entered and my eyes widened, boss grandmother, the matriarch of the Li family, Madam Rose Li.
Madam Li's POV
I glanced up expecting to see my son when I saw his right hand bodyguard Lee,
"Lee, where's Dexter, I've been here for the past hour and he is yet to return"
"Ah... M.. Madam Li, b.. Boss should be in a meeting right now with the boards"
"And he can't come to see his grandmother? I've definitely spoilt that boy, he refuses to come home to see me, all he does is work all day, I haven't even seen him for a month"
"E..eh boss must just.. Be busy"
"No one is too busy for filial piety, and what's that you're holding, bring it here, it's been a while since I came to the company, time to see how far my grandson has gone"
"Yes?! B.. Bring the file?"
"Why are you acting all jittery? "
