Dorothy's POV
My heart pounds as Joseph disappears from the hospital. Damon's pack doesn't have the same strength as Joseph's, and he isn't their Alpha. The connection he shares with our warriors won't exist with Damon's fighters. Our pack. The thought strikes me hard. When did I start thinking of myself as his mate and Luna?
I shake off the realization and focus on what needs to be done. "Natasha, we need triage stations and emergency kits. Can you find the supplies we need to put those together?"
"I'll check right now," she responds, already moving.
Helen bursts through the doors. "What can I do to help?"
"Go with Natasha. Help her gather everything we need." I turn to Dorian, who's monitoring the pack link. "Do we know how many warriors are positioned outside our borders?"
"No exact count, Luna."
Aaron approaches, his young face tense with worry. "What do you need me to do?"
