Chapter 118: Infinite Firepower Slash Wave
"Hahahaha!" Golden Lion's sudden burst of laughter froze Kyo (Silver Axe) , Ochoku (Wang Zhi), and the others. One glance told them: he was teetering on the edge of absolute fury. No one dared say another word.
"You brat, we've barely been apart and you've already gotten this arrogant?" Golden Lion roared, slashing both swords. Shing! Shing! Two golden cross-shaped slash waves flew straight at Luo Han.
Luo Han merely chuckled. Behind him, six transparent telekinetic tails appeared, the tips transforming into blades. Shing shing! Two pale blue slash waves met the golden ones.

The four slash waves collided with a screech of steel. Sparks flew as the air distorted. Ultimately, Golden Lion's golden slash waves proved more condensed, breaking through Luo Han's blue waves and continuing forward.
"Ha ha ha!" Golden Lion laughed proudly. See? All that talk, and this is what you've got!
Luo Han also chuckled. Shing shing! Two more slashes of his own shattered the weakened golden waves.
"Golden Lion, is this all you've got? Remember on Ark Island? I didn't even dare block your attacks back then. But now? Heh." Luo Han grinned mockingly.
Golden Lion froze. When… did this brat earn my acknowledgment? Was he really getting excited over cutting through two weak slashes? When did he fall so far — celebrating after cutting through someone's lazy attacks?
His rage faded, replaced by solemn respect — the bare minimum one should show a true rival.
"Take this then! Slash Storm — Thousand-Cut Valley!" Golden Lion shouted.
He flew to match Luo Han's altitude. Twin swords in hand, he unleashed a thousand golden slash waves in an instant, all hurtling toward Luo Han.
"Haha! Trying to outnumber me in attacks? Good luck!" Luo Han laughed. "Let me show you — Infinite Slash, Ten-Thousand-Cut Valley!"
Shing shing shing…!
Thousands of blue slashes erupted from the six telekinetic tails behind him.
Clang clang clang…!
Waves clashed midair in a dazzling display. Excess slashes scattered in all directions, carving trenches into the sea below. Boom! Boom! Boom! The ocean churned with chaotic energy.

Just as he paused to speak, another tidal wave of blue slashes came at him.

Golden Lion slashed out with both swords, releasing a fresh barrage of golden slashes to counter.

Waves collided again, creating shockwaves that scattered in every direction. Below, Kyo (Silver Axe) and Ochoku (Wang Zhi)were back to scrambling defensively.
Luo Han smirked. "Don't run, Golden Lion. Come on! Let's see whose slashes are better!"
Even as he taunted, his six tails never stopped. Shing shing! The waves kept coming — relentless. No matter where Golden Lion fled, the attacks followed.
Luo Han was utterly relaxed, even helping shield Spoon-jie and the others by intercepting stray slash waves with telekinesis.

The air was filled with slash wave collisions. The ocean below churned with deep furrows and thundering crashes.
"Is this brat… never gonna get tired?" Golden Lion cursed. His face was flushed, drenched in sweat. It had been over three minutes of nonstop slash exchanges — and still no end in sight.
"Hahaha! Come on, Little Lion! Feel the wrath of my Infinite Lion Slash Barrage!!" Luo Han grinned smugly, completely forgetting just how terrifying an enraged lion could be.
Golden Lion's fury reached its peak. Little Lion? The insult ignited a blaze in his chest. His pupils shrank, veins bulged, and his Conqueror's Haki erupted. The sky darkened as his aura raged like a storm.
"Die, brat!!" he roared.
He drew both swords back, then slashed forward in perfect unison. SHING! A single, razor-sharp golden slash wave tore through the air, obliterating Luo Han's countless slashes in its path.
Luo Han's expression turned serious. He activated his Mind Barrier at full strength. The Steel Balloon defensive field merged into the barrier, adding density and resilience.
CLANG CLANG CLANG!
The golden wave struck his barrier instantly. Red and black lightning crackled wildly. The impact shook the sea, creating tidal waves dozens of meters high.
"So strong! Lord Golden Lion and Lord Blue Demon!!"
From their makeshift rafts — planks salvaged from their destroyed ship — Golden Lion's crew gawked in awe.
"You idiots! Quit daydreaming — brace yourselves!" Ochoku (Wang Zhi)shouted.
Panic broke out on the sea. The coming waves threatened to swallow them whole.
Fortunately, Ochoku (Wang Zhi)and Kyo (Silver Axe) launched attacks of their own, splitting the waves and averting disaster.
On the other side, Cole and Spoon-jie did the same, cutting through the oncoming waves and protecting their group.
"These two… really are monsters."
Even after witnessing Luo Han battle Admiral Kong, Aishi still couldn't help but marvel. Watching him now, clashing midair with Golden Lion's powerful slash, her heart filled with admiration.
Everyone wore the same look of shock and awe as they stared at Luo Han.
"Hmph! What's the big deal? This is nothing," the ever-proud Toki muttered to herself. "You people haven't seen what Luo Han's like ten years from now. Then you'd really have something to gasp about."
With a dramatic little strut, she turned and walked back to the cabin — feigning boredom and unshakable confidence in Luo Han.
Back in the sky, Luo Han's expression shifted from serious… to excited.
Using his spiritual sense, he detected a distinct aura — a sharp, focused energy embedded within Golden Lion's slash.
"That's it! That's a real aura!"
From within that powerful wave, he had sensed it clearly — the essence of a slash.

The golden wave shattered against Luo Han's barrier — unable to break through.
