Chapter 159 - Chapter 159: Has That Thing Appeared?

Chapter 159: Has That Thing Appeared?

In the quiet mountains, night had already fallen. Strangely, a crescent moon had risen—brighter than usual.

Under the bright moonlight, one could clearly see Cole and Whitebeard standing at the front, both facing the center of the island with their backs to Luo Han .

The two of them stood on high alert, their expressions grim, Observation Haki fully activated as they watched the countless emerald-green light orbs flying in from afar. Their hearts grew heavier by the second. Still not done? they wondered. Those people must've noticed by now, right?

And they were right. The abnormality here had indeed been noticed. At first, under the moonlight, it wasn't obvious. But soon, it became impossible to ignore.

As Ellis' ability activated, more and more emerald light orbs began to gather—not just from the nearby mountains, but from across the island. Every plant glowed with that soft green hue, sending their light toward a single point.

The massive green orb forming above Ellis grew larger and brighter, eventually expanding beyond the treetops and rising above the mountains—making it clearly visible from across the island.

But someone had sensed it even earlier. When Ellis released the special wave that covered the entire island, Roger immediately sensed something unusual. However, lacking Luo Han 's mental awareness, he couldn't identify Ellis. He simply felt curious.

Later, through his Observation Haki—his ability to hear the voice of all things—Roger seemed to hear the surrounding grass whispering "It's okay." That's when he began to notice faint lights drifting from the grass. They were too dim to see with the naked eye—only his Haki could pick them up.

Back on the battlefield, Rocks and the others were still engaged in intense combat. But suddenly, the entire island's plant life seemed to come alive. Everyone noticed the abnormal energy spreading through the island.

"Huh? What is this?" Both sides voiced their confusion simultaneously, watching the emerald-green orbs float past them. For some reason, the tension in the air began to dissipate. The battlefield fell into calm as everyone paused to watch.

Each orb, large and small, emerged from the forests and grasslands, converging toward a single destination—like moths to a flame. They were heading toward the green sun… or what appeared to be a green sun above the mountains.

"It's huge…"

Time passed. Everyone stared, dumbfounded, at the green orb now hovering in the mountains behind the former palace. It had grown from one hundred meters in diameter to several hundred—and was still expanding.

By now, the green glow had completely overpowered the moonlight. The entire island was bathed in its emerald light, as though dyed green.

"What the hell is going on with this island…? That green thing…"

Rocks stared at the phenomenon, stunned. That green sun—what was it? He could feel an immense energy radiating from it. And more importantly, it was forming right here in God Valley. His gut told him something significant was happening.

"It's still growing… not even two minutes have passed. Could it be…?"

As the glowing orb swelled, Rocks' curiosity began to transform into anticipation.

At the same time, the lead Celestial Dragon stared at the scene, thoughtful. They only knew that something they'd been searching for—something known to the Celestial Dragons for centuries—was on this island. They didn't know what it was, exactly. But this, this was the first real sign in hundreds of years. Could it finally be revealing itself?

A sudden change came over the Celestial Dragon's face.

At the same moment, Rocks and the Fleet Admiral reacted as well.

For Rocks and the Celestial Dragon, it was ecstatic realization—the thing they'd long been seeking had finally appeared. For the Fleet Admiral, who knew of God Valley's secrets, it was dread. He understood this was exactly what Rocks had come for. If Rocks got it, the world would never be the same.

Right then, the green light orb reached its apparent limit and began to slow its expansion.

"If nothing goes wrong, it'll stop growing in just a few minutes… and that means whatever it is is about to appear," the Fleet Admiral thought grimly.

Suddenly, his expression changed. He turned toward Rocks and shouted, "Stop him! Don't let Rocks get near it!"

Whoosh! But it was already too late. Rocks had flown off before the order was even given. Only after the words left the Fleet Admiral's mouth did a sonic boom erupt in the sky.

Step step! The Fleet Admiral used Moonwalk to give chase, no time left to explain. Garp followed his instincts and dashed after him. The others remained frozen, confused by what was happening.

Seeing Rocks fly toward the green light, the lead Celestial Dragon became furious. He shouted to the surrounding marines, "Stop that filthy mongrel! That thing—Celestial Dragons have searched for it for centuries! It belongs to us and no one else! Go!"

He then turned to the CP0 commander and ordered him to take them to the green orb immediately.

"Yes, sir!"

This time, the CP0 commander said nothing sarcastic. His expression was serious. Forget keeping secrets—stopping Rocks from reaching the orb was now top priority. Using his powers, he swiftly carried the Celestial Dragons and slaves toward Cole and the others' location.

And thanks to the Celestial Dragon's outburst, everyone on the island had now heard it:

"Something the Celestial Dragons have been searching for for centuries!"

The navy suddenly realized the gravity of the situation. They still didn't know what that thing was—but the Fleet Admiral's reaction told them everything. If Rocks got it, the consequences would be catastrophic. Everyone began rushing toward the glowing orb.

"Hey… Hey! Did you all… hear that?" John's voice trembled like a starving wolf in winter spotting an easy kill. Greed and desire lit up in his eyes.

No one answered.

Golden Lion and the others had already burst into motion, eyes gleaming. Whoosh! In the blink of an eye, they were racing toward the green light.

Golden Lion flew fastest. From above, he could clearly sense the flow of power across the island. The green light was still surging from every corner, gathering into that massive orb.

He pushed himself to fly faster. Let me see for myself what this thing is—the thing both Rocks and the Celestial Dragons have spent centuries chasing.

Meanwhile, upon hearing the words "something the Celestial Dragons have been searching for for centuries," Roger's expression changed drastically.

"Move! We can't let that thing fall into the hands of Rocks or the Celestial Dragons!" he ordered, immediately giving chase at full speed.

Rayleigh and the others quickly followed. They didn't know what the thing was—but in moments like this, all they needed was to trust their captain.

And just like that, everyone on the island was now headed toward Luo Han 's location.
